• HTML inserts no longer to work?

  I just got the update of DPS the CS6 and now after the update my folios my HTML inserts is no longer working?

  They are email contained HTML overlays, the code works fine on the website, but not on the spectator.

  PLEASE HELP THEY DO NOT WORK WHY?

  We have confirmed there is a problem with the content hosted by the iframe with the v25 tools. It is, unfortunately, the mechanism used to place files .oam. A possible workaround is to create a framework and then use Control Panel overlay of the web to a folder with your HTML code.

  I read this thread again and again, about issues with lists bulleted: http://forums.adobe.com/thread/452971

  My problem is related (I think my lists could also be to behave oddly due to them being possibly paragraph style lists), but a little different so I wanted to create a new thread rather than adding my questions on this subject.

  To illustrate my problem, I typed the text, highlight it then selected the style in the Styles drop-down list to apply to highlight text. What is the result:

  

  Note that fonts I use for numbers is not being picked up and drive balls should in fact be square.

  Here is the CSS information for these two styles:

  Note that for the unordered list, there is a code to make the ball a square ("' list style: square;" ") and for the list sorted, there is code to format the numbers ("font family: Verdana, without serif;").

  So here's my question: what can I do to correct the code above and make it work properly as it does in RH7? Here is what looks like the same list in RH7, correctly display, using exactly the same code. Thanks in advance for any help!

  

  No sweat. To fix the problem yourself, but there is a problem with the case of your styles. (Name of CSS class selectors are case-sensitive for documents XHMLT).

  Edit your css, like this:

  LI. P-UnorderedListFirstLevel,

  LI.p - UnorderedListFirstLevel {}

  LI P-OrderedList.

  {} LI.p - OrderedList

  This should solve your problems.

• List of bullet HTML not made in Muse

  When inserting HTML like this, Muse does not render the chips:

  < ul >

  Bullet 1 < /li > < li >

  Bullet 2 < /li > < li >

  Bullet 3 < /li > < li >

  < /ul >

  There is no CSS reset in muse that replaces the default list style. You need to specify the style in the code that you insert. Something like this might be,

  • 1 chip
  • 2 chip
  • 3 chip

• How we apply lists bulleted in RH10

  Hello

  I totally fail to understand the workflow for the application of bulleted lists in RH10 (for html).

  If I have a paragraph style = Normal, font = Tahoma 10pt, why on earth not only selecting the paragraph and clicking the button in the toolbar set bulleted list shaped add a ball but also set style none?

  I clearly missed something here.

  But it's the 'normal' workflow for the application of bullets, if it is necessary to hack the css etc to sort this point, this suggests a horribly unpleasant interface for me.

  Could someone please explain in plain English how this is supposed to work?

  By the way I just spent a considerable amount of time to sift through the two RH10 user guide and forum topics, and I still don't understand.

  Yes, it gets weird using the CSS of RoboHelp Editor.

• Anyone have any ideas on how to solve this problem with lists bulleted?

  First, RoboHelp, 8.0.2.208 and RoboHTML

  When you create topics in the editor using the toolbar to create bulleted lists (no special style, no funny images, etc.) and bulleted lists appear well within the editor. They both appear in the preview. However, when WebHelp is generated and displayed in IE8, the bullets are not displayed in the outout. When I check the source of the topic, the HTML markup code looks very good. All the < ul > and < li > and / < li > < /ul > tags are in place, and as it should be.

  Here's the other thing... Just for fun, we have generated a CHM file, and the Bullets appear in this output without problem.

  Any ideas?

  Your CSS has any style for ul and li? Is this project that you upgraded to RH8 from a previous version of RoboHelp? If so, the problem of the list: http://www.grainge.org/pages/authoring/lists/lists.htm

  Can someone tell me how to make a drop down feature list using InDesign options?

  Output is HTML & PDF...

  My requirement is like by placing the cursor on the text or images, the dropdown list should appear in the output.

  Your example is a context menu and is usually scheduled as part of an operating system or application, with the choice of the menu that offers other functions of the application. It would be really handy create this kind of feature for a standalone PDF document.

• Default fonts does not apply in the lists bulleted

  Hi all...

  Small problem that I was "work-around" for some time, but this AM, it just finally hit me to try to find a solution.  I am currently using FM 11 (under Windows 7), but this has been a problem at 7 FM.

  In a paragraph of type bulleted list style, if I apply a character Style, it seems to be "stuck" with this style - tent to highlight and set it back to the "default font (paragraph symbol)" Style of characters do not work.  My work around has been to:

  1. Highlight the offending text.
  2. Select the 'default font (paragraph symbol)"character Style (even if nothing is applied).
  3. Select a new paragraph Style (one).
  4. Again select the appropriate paragraph Style.

  This resets the character to the default font Style, but it's kind of a pain.

  Any ideas on why this is the case?

  When you apply a label of character, if you also mark include the end of paragraph (the symbol of fly "¶"), then FM will change the paragraph tag to include the new formats of character as a substitution of the paragraph. If you have then the paratag (flea) defined without "Nxt FMP Tag" selected by the name of the tag (i.e. bulleted) underway, then FM will continue to apply the paratag with substitutions.

  How can I remove the extra space created in a bulleted list?

  In general it is enabled by default, but for my purpose leading is too.  I looked around her change the paragraph Style dialog box, but I can't remove the extra space.

  Double-spaced, (in a list; paragraph spacing), is a product of character "major" and the paragraph spacing before settings level (sum), and after the space.

  BUT that said...

  You should treat a certain pre-made or already existing style (s). InDesign does not impose automatic all values of these parameters chosen just because you created a list. I suspect your list a space before and/or after the space, but someone put it there.

  Please, do a right-click on the form and click on edit HTML.

  Now, at the top of the code, it could have a "insert your HTMl here. Delete it and click on 'OK '.

  I'm trying to insert a variable instead of a newly defined property to add to a list of poroperty.
  
  This would normally add a new a new property to a list of poroperty:
  
  Database [#needtogetvariablehere] = typedPassword
  
  -"Database" is the list of properties, "needtogetvariablehere" is the new poperty and "typedPassword" is the value of the property of the new - thisall works very well.
  
  I want to generate new names of properties dynamically using an editable text area. How to replace the new 'nedtogetvariablehere' with a variable property name?

  If it works, it is valid. Different from the db support different syntaxes on this issue. A way that would work for all db's

  When you have the choice of text tool, there are two modes. At the left end of the Panel, click the icon 'A' to select the formatting of characters. Click on the 'P' (paragraph symbol icon) to choose the formatting. The chips feature is a point feature of formatting.
