  I miss the function "convert" in Jdev IDE. In previous versions, it was possible to click with the right button on a GUI component for example in the window of the structure and then convert it to another GUI component.

  I reported a bug in this feature in the previous version of jdev and I hope that this was not the reason why this feature has been removed now :-)
  If so, the I'm afraid that the whole Jdev / ADF will be removed in the next version when I have a look at my very long list of confirmed bugs that hit us :-)

  The functionality is still there, but with some changes.
  The complaints we got were some of the conversions was not well - convert, for example, when you convert a path to another there is no automatic conversion of facets (and in fact, I doubt that such a conversion is possible).
  You will find that the option convert is always there for the various components of entry and exit and you offer conversion to the 'logic' list components.

  If you miss this feature - please let us know post on this thread - and we will try to improve this feature in future versions.

  Safe Mode boot removes the system caches that can help after an OS X day or level.

  Upper left corner of your screen, click on the Apple  > Shut Down.

  After your Mac stops, wait 10 seconds, then press the power button.

  As soon as you hear the startup tone, hold down the SHIFT key. You must press the SHIFT key as soon as possible once you hear the startup tone, but not before.

  Release the SHIFT key when you see the gray Apple logo and progress indicator.

  Once you are in Mode without failure, return to the menu Apple . In the drop-down list, click: reboot

  Have you tried to search for pictures on your computer?

  You can type part of the name of the file in the dialog box search Assistant & check photos & documents.

  It may be possible to recover the missing files by using data recovery software. There is no Microsoft recovery tool to recover the lost data. However, you can use your favorite search engine and download any third-party data recovery software.

  Note: Using third-party software, including hardware drivers can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the use of third-party software can be solved. Software using third party is at your own risk.

  Unless you format the drive HARD and then do a clean install of Vista & then get SP2 installed to switch to Win7, your best bet would be a fresh install of Win7.

  In other words, the presence of Windows PowerShell 2.0 isn't your problem - a system infected with hijackware is your problem.

• Is it possible to copy the screen background image to 'restore' a lost image?

  My wife accidentally resized the image of our daughter that we do not have a backup on however, this image is currently set as the desktop wallpaper. I hope that there is a way to recover the image by simply copying the copy of Windows that he uses as his wallpaper. Is this possible or am I out of luck?

  You're out of luck if the image used as the background is the same as that which your resized wife. If resized is in a different place or was named differently, so it has not been overwritten. However, all is not entirely lost.

  If you have Vista Business/Ultimate/Enterprise, you also have the functionality of previous Versions. If you have only Vista Home Basic or Premium, this feature is not available for you. Explorer shadow of third parties may be able to help, however.

• The list with many images

  Hello!

  I have a list with a lot of images in the itemRenderer, over 500.

  I use virtualization on this list.

  When people scroll quickly down, it can take a bit to load images.

  Issues related to the:

  1. in what order the list control to load images? Up and down the entire list or Topp down only the visible part?

  2. is there anyway I can give priority to a certain image to load first on others? The images have the source property set to a relative path on the server.

  3. is there anything I can do to speed up the process of loading in general?

  The list does not load images, because of your item converter.  I suppose you load these images by substituting the data setter method in the rendering engine.

  When the list of the first loads it creates just enough converters to show what is in view (due to virtualization), let the top 10 items.  This means that the first 10 images will be loaded, but no other images will be loaded unless you scroll the list to expose new items.  If you want to have some images available before others so you can have your application load them if its not busy and in this way, they could be available before the user scrolls.

  Even if you were to load all images before creating the list you might seem still some flickering when scrolling because what are they are recharged in as user autour scrolls.  To remedy this, you might want to consider caching the images as they are loaded, there is an example here: http://flexponential.com/2010/01/10/caching-images-loaded-from-a-spark-item-renderer/

• How to get a list of related images?

  The report created by InDesign feature package contains too much information - I want only the names of files. Although it is possible to open the report with Text Wrangler and isolate the lines containing the name of the link, the line contains more information than I want to:

  -Name: FO - 6000Filter.tif; Type: TIFF CMYK; Status: connected

  Unfortunately, when items are selected in the links palette, the COPY command is not available. nor is there a way to export a list from the links palette.

  My computer shut down unexpectedly and I ended up doing a restore now all my photos and their records disappeared how do I get back them?
  My computer works fine now and the restoration was only a month back when I had almost all of these images.

  ... To check "Show the hidden files and folders" / apply / OK.
