List of tables of the order - FrameMaker 10.0.2

I see that it's happened (to a question of 2010), but my problem is different. I have a document with a file with plenty of tables. At random, it seems, they are out of order in the list of Tables. I thought it was because they were set to float so I changed all and sets a lot. Then I read the 2010 issue and have verified that the anchors are separated.

Then... on a page with several tables, even though a paragraph with a separate anchor point between two tables, the tables are out in the BATCH. Help!

Hey all, thought I'd post the info I got from the Adobe support:

"It seems that the problem comes when the table anchor is on the previous page, but the table is on the next page. I checked that this happens in previous versions of FrameMaker as well. I'm a bug logged onto the same thing within our database. ... As a solution, pls. try to keep the anchor from the table and the table title on the same page. »

  • List of files in the order: 0,1, 2..., 10, 11..., 99, 100, etc... without timestamp

    Hello

    I keep running into a problem whenever I need a list of the files in order. Instead of 0,1,2,... 10,11, 12... 100, 101... Get list the files in the following order "alphabetical": 0,1,10,100,101... 11 110,..., 12, 120, 121,..., 2, 20, 200...

    I understand that a simple solution would be to list the files by date and I did in the past, but this solution is not available for me this time.

    The time stamp on the files is very sensitive: sometimes I need to manually mess with some of the files after them, thus reseting create the timestamp on them. Another problem happens when I create files too quickly, they end up sharing the same timestamp again in alphabetical order incorrectly. A solution to this is to create files with an artificial delay of a second between the creations. It is very time consuming and not feasible in real-time applications.

    Sorry to be verbose. I wonder if it is a simple way to list the files in a folder sequentially by just using their file name (ending on a #)?

    Thank you jcarmody. It's a lot easier that I thought it would be. I have attached the solution

  • using elements of the table in the order?

    Hello

    I created a table which includes four-part numbers. I want to stimulate each element one after the other. After the creation of my program, I see that only the first element of the array is enabled, but not the other RAS.

    I actually use this program to stimulate the four different smells. I join all of the program that controls the olfactometer and the framework of this program that I have problems with.

    If any of you have any idea how I can solve the problem and can use all different smells/elements during the experience?

    Sincerely,

    Samia Alam.

    You have a double case of 'localitite' and 'sequencetitus '.  No need to use local variables and structures of the sequence.

    Use wire instead of local variables where you can.  If wire you your table type of Stimulation through the wall of the loop, you can set it for automatic indexing.  This means that each loop iteration will use each element of the array in turn.  Then you won't need the Index array function, or need to wire a 4-Terminal N of the loop.

    (Otherwise, we could plug your i of iteration loop Terminal to the terminal of the index of the Array Index function.)

  • using a table to the order of registration button click

    I'm working on a demo of a user interface for a handheld device. I'm doing a back button that can follow the actions users back several steps.

    I started by putting this line of code in my frame 1 actions layer:

    var fill: Array = new Array();

    then I placed this code follwing on different buttons:

    {We (Release)}
    wherefrom.push ("frame_name1");
    gotoAndStop ("frame_name2");
    }

    then on the back button, I added the following code:

    {We (Release)}
    gotoAndStop (wherefrom.pop ());
    }

    It doesn't seem to work. I was wondering if this type of action is possible using AS2.0? any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    I think that stage names (and also the scenes) only exist at creation time and are converted to numbers of frame when the SWF is compiled (I may be wrong because I don't use them). You might have more success if you tried to use the frame numbers.

    Try to use
    wherefrom.push (_currentframe);

  • change the order of a table with another table

    I want to change the order of a 1 d table based on another table 1 d that specifies the order.  For example, I have a table including the following items: 12, 13, 14, 15, 16.  And I have another 1 d array that specifies the order of 3, 4, 0, 1, 2.  I want the table resulting in 15, 16, 12, 13, 14.  How can I do this?  It must be really easy.  Another example, I give myself a table in the order following 1,2,3,4,5,6,7 and I an order specifying the array containing the 0,6,1,5,2,3,4.  Therefore, the resulting table must be 1,7,2,6,3,4,5.  ???

    It is, in fact, quite easy.  Put an "Array Index" inside a loop and thread the two tables in it.  Disabled automatic indexing on the input array.  Wire of the array element located on the border of the for loop, and you'll have the desired table.

  • What controls the order of the types in the list of paette type

    TS2012

    I have a bunch of custom in my file of sequence types, and when I go to the range of types and look at the types associated with my file in sequence, they are in the 'disorder' which is not very useful for me - I would have preferred that they are in a specific order which groups them according to the category of tasks they do.   Basically, I want to be able to manaully specify the order of the types.  Worse still, as I modify some types, their order and after the editing changes they get inserted somewhere else in the middle of the list (not very useful).

    The sequence that the user interface of the editor does not provide a way to 'Capture' a type and drag around manually update the order, or be able to sort the headers of columns for the type palette.  (Heck - which would be too convenient here).

    So... try to reverse this engineer and get there myself.

    There seems to be 2 different pieces of possible orders of the information for the types that I can find.

    (1) order that they exist in the file in sequence if I save it in XML format and begin reading from the top down.

    (2) the specific type typelistordernum

    I have a case where, if I open the pallet type in the sequence editor, I see

    TypeA

    TypeB

    TypeC

    Typed

    TypeE

    If I open the file in the sequence in the text editor, I see

    Typed (typelistordernum 49)

    TypeE (typelistordernum 50)

    TypeC (typelistordernum 51)

    TypeB (typelistordernum 52)

    TypeA (typelistordernum 29)

    The order in the movie file, or the order number of type list seems to dictate the order that they appear in the range of types of the sequence editor.

    I checked that each type in the example are ONLY used in this file a sequence - not shared in any other type of sequence pallets or files of type.

    If I write code to load the sequence file, obtain a reference to it, it cast to a propertyObjectFile and retrieve the TypeUsageList for this file, I get an ordered list that corresponds to the order of typelistordernum.  I can call the MoveType against this TypeUsageList method to reorder the items in the list type and save the file in the sequence.  The next time I open the file in the sequence, the tool retrieves the TypeUsageList for the file of the sequence in question and the order and numbers are the same that I saved the last time, but the order types as seen from the range of types of Sequence Editor is no different (my sorting tool did not help to this point of view).

    All the suggestions here about what is happening, and how can I do feel how the order types is displayed in the palette of type sequence editor, and what I can do to get my types of "sort" I like.

    (1) Yes, you can reorganize the types according to the type via drag and drop. At least since the 2012 version of TS this works reliably.

    (2) the typelistordernum defines the order types are displayed in the view of types.

    (3) you can sort the columns in the view types.

    Maybe you accidentally sorted one of the columns in the view of types and the sequence editor is forgetting that for what you see is actually the order sorted, based on one of the columns.

    I'm sure that drag - move is disabled when you have a sort column so this explains very well what you see. Check your headers to sort for this point of view and make sure that you do not have up and down arrows.

    Hope this helps,

    -Doug

  • The input parameter to pass between 2 maybe bounded task flows a whole list of table or table?

    Hello experts, Im a beginner to ADF dev, currently using Jdev / ADF 12 c.

    I need to move from a table or list of tables of the values of A bounded task flows to delimited the workflow B. How to do in this case, the use of an input parameter?

    I mentioned the following links which have had in the string values as an input parameter, and replaced related fields accordingly with the data type of table list, but it did not work:

    http://docs.Oracle.com/CD/E21764_01/Web.1111/b31974/taskflows_parameters.htm#ADFFD1689

    Oracle JDeveloper 12 c (12.1.2) tutorials - working with stubborn workflows, regions and routers

    The requirement of the business is such that I need 2 different workflow, where the workflow B must be in a popup with train component.

    I thought of using just a stream unique task bounded with pop-up windows on the pop-up windows... which is less elegant... y at - it smoother workaround?

    Thank you very much.

    Even though I know this isn't answering your question, let me stress the design element: in the ADF, view objects are intended to replace beans support / managed in ADF in detention is. It is one of the worst confusion with ADF + ADF BC, where people still use accompanying beans on the scope of the session/view/task flow to maintain user state. Instead of this, you must use display objects, the objects in view transition in case the data does not come directly form DB.

    To finally answer your question: you can pass any type of objects for workflow settings, just make your parameter of type java.lang.Object. Then you can convert it in turn, in the second task flow.

  • EA 4.1 display of version information in navigator slows down displaying the list of tables

    Hello

    I use DM with SVN version control.

    The table browser now displays the icon of overlay on the tables. Nice!

    The version number/log-in / user is not necessary. Maybe an option to display this information.

    In any case the most important question is: now, it takes too long to display the list of tables in the browser.

    Joop

    Hi Joop,

    The version number/log-in / user is not necessary. Maybe an option to display this information.

    Yes, there is an option - "preferences > Versioning > Subversion > General '-' use the navigator overlay State labels.

    The performance - we look at this problem.

    I use Oracle 11.2.0.2.

    How can I create an index on these tables of the ordered collection to improve performance?

    I found the example at http://docs.Oracle.com/CD/E11882_01/AppDev.112/e23094/xdb_rewrite.htm#ADXDB5859 but am not able to apply to this particular case...

    Thank you in advance...

    If the schema is not annotated and XS: Integer and XS: String are mapped to types of data NUMBER and VARCHAR2 (4000), so you must use in your query to avoid typecasting unnecessary operations.

    You must also use XMLTABLEs chained when accessing a parent/child instead of a FLWOR expression relationship, otherwise the CBO cannot rewrite the XQuery query correctly (maybe it's fixed in the latest version).

    If you make these changes, the plan should show the cleaner predicates:

    SQL > SELECT EVENT_ID, MESSAGE_ID, ACTION_TYPE, ACTION_SUB_ID, ACTION_TIMESTAMP

    2 FROM test_table

    3 XMLTABLE ('/ monitoring ')

    4 COLUMNS XML_CONTENT OF PASSAGE

    5 WAY of VARCHAR2 (4000) EVENT_ID "ID."

    6 actions for XMLTYPE PATH 'action '.

    (7) T1,

    8 XMLTABLE ('/ action')

    Shares of PASSAGE 9 COLUMNS

    NUMBER of ACTION_SUB_ID 10 PATH "actionSubId."

    11 PATH of VARCHAR2 (4000) ACTION_TYPE "type."

    12 WAY of NUMBER ACTION_TIMESTAMP 'time '.

    (13) T2

  • List TABLE on the linked server?

    In SQL Developer, I can see a list of TABLEs in the list of connections and data and the TABLE definition.

    I have a link DB giving access to a number of TABLEs on a different server. Is it possible to see a similar list of the available on the linked server TABLE?

    N ° you'll have to ask the views of dictionary on the link (all_tables@db_link and all_tab_columns@db_link, among others)

  • Loading the data into the order of series of Timestamp

    I need to load data into the target table in the order of series of timestamp. How to do it.

    ex:

    2015-12-10 02:14:15

    2015-12-10 03:14:15

    2015-12-10 04:14:15

    After you follow the how to use the Direct-Path INSERT ordered by your "timestamp column" series described here above, you can sort the lines in ODI (order of) this way:

  • Values in the list by the order of table in SELECT Union

    Version: 11.2

    Apparently a very basic thing. But I couldn't do it :)

    In the UNION example below automatic sorting in is based on alphabetical order. I want to get rid of this sort and list the values according to the order of the table in the SELECT.

    Test data
    create table test1 (name1 varchar2(10));

    create table test2 (name2 varchar2(10));

    create table test3 (name3 varchar2(10));

    insert into test1 values ('EARTH');
    insert into test1 values ('TAURUS');
    insert into test2 values ('YELLOW');

    insert into test2 values ('ALPHA');
    insert into test2 values ('TANGO');

    insert into test3 values ('BRAVO');

    select name1 from test1
    union
    select name2 from test2
    union
    select name3 from test3;

    NAME1
    ----------
    ALPHA
    BRAVO
    EARTH
    TANGO
    TAURUS
    YELLOW

    6 rows selected.
    In the above example, I want the values in the first array SELECT listed first, then all the values of the second table in SELECT it and so on.

    Basically my requirement will be
    Return all values from test1 (alphabetically sorted)
    then
    Return all values from test2 (alphabetically sorted)
    then
    Return all values from test3 (alphabetically sorted)
    Expected results:
    NAME1
    ----------
    EARTH  ------------> from the first table in the SELECT
    TAURUS ------------> from the first table in the SELECT
    ALPHA  ----------------------> from the second table in the SELECT
    TANGO  ----------------------> from the second table in the SELECT
    YELLOW ----------------------> from the second table in the SELECT
    BRAVO  ------------------------------> from the third table in the SELECT

    Hello

    Union made a distinct in terms of the line. From the line "ALPHA", 2 and the line 'ALPHA', 3 are different, they both show in the result set.

    Further, you are all just lucky, that you get the results you want with the order clause:

    order by 2

    This performs a sort on the second column (1,2,3)
    Also, you want to sort on the first column (name1, name2 and Name3). The order clause should be (as already shown correctly abbove):

    order by
      2, 1

    Kind regards

    Peter

  • How can I change the order in the drop-down list the address bar?

    I like Firefox, but one thing I want to change is the behavior of the address bar drop-down list - where it shows the previous sites I visited. I'm looking for a way to list of these in chronological order - so the most recently visited site is at the top. know how it is in IE!

    Is this possible? I'm happy to go in and change settings or install any addons that I need to do.

    Hello zeel, this article explains how the sorting mechanism in the firefox url bar: https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/The_Places_frecency_algorithm

    Although there are some settings to adjust the table available when you go to Subject: config I don't think it's possible to achieve your goal exactly using the built - in firefox. You can set the preferences (increase) of the value of the . places.frecency * BucketWeight while to increase the rank of the most recent visits and adjust the timespan in days for different buckets through the . places.frecency * BucketCutoff...

  • Break down and an object of a list/table of the index reference

    TestStand using I'm trying to figure out how to break down and an object reference to a table/list of the index. My sequence is attached. I received a few tips of the 3rd developer with VB code, what should be done. I'm having a problem translating in TestStand. VB code follows the description.

    I use .NET to run a 3rd party software using a sequence of imagery system and run 3rd party software tests. In TestStand, my "GetCurrentTests" approach, when an object for a specific sequence reference, returns a reference of type object ' object reference(system.collections.generic.list'1[Radiant.Imaging.TSEngine.ICommand]); expected return a list of tests in the sequence of part 3.

    Next steps "GetCurrentPattern" needs to index through this list in order to get and then define and display the display model of the specific test to start the specific test. This next step class is RadiantImaging.TSEngine.ICommand (interface) and returns an object reference (radiantImaging.PatternGenerator.Patterns.Patternbase): a reference to the model.

    What I'm confused about is decaying of the 'object reference(system.collections.generic.list'1[Radiant.Imaging.TSEngine.ICommand])' return value in order to provide the? indexed reference object for "Model of GetCurrent" step.

    VB code is provided below for me that shows how it can be done in VB. I'm not familiar enough with TestStand, .NET and VB to break down this >

    Any suggestions or advice is greatly appreciated.

    VB code:

    Public Class Form1

    Private PatternGenerator.IPatternGenerator MPG

    Private WithEvents mTestSequence as TSEngine.TestSequence Private Sub InitializeButton_Click(ByVal sender As System.Object, ByVal e As System.EventArgs) Handles InitializeButton.Click

    TSEngine.Settings.MeasurementSource = TSEngine.MeasurementSources.Camera

    TSEngine.Settings.SaveMeasurementsToDatabase = False

    TSEngine.Settings.SaveResultsToDatabase = True

    TSEngine.Settings.SerialNumberAllowDuplicates = True

    mPG = TSEngine.CurrentPatternGenerator

    TSEngine.Initialize ("C:\PM 4616197.rdb Calibration")

    TSEngine.Databasename = "C:\default Alpha_PEK_Date.pts".

    TSEngine.InitializeCamera)

    End Sub

    Private Sub RunButton_Click(ByVal sender As System.Object, ByVal e As System.EventArgs) Handles RunButton.Click

    mTestSequence = New TSEngine.TestSequence (1)

    Dim result as TSEngine.Tests.ResultEnum

    For i As Integer = 0 To mTestSequence.NumberTests

    Dim p As PatternGenerator.Patterns.PatternBase

    p = mTestSequence.CommandList (i). Model

    p.PatternGenerator = mi/gal

    mPG.MonitorType = PatternGenerator.Monitor.PrimaryPartial

    ' p.PatternGenerator.MonitorType = PatternGenerator.Monitor.PrimaryPartial

    p.PatternGenerator = mi/gal

    p.Show)

    result = mTestSequence.RunSingleTest (i)

    Dim results As List (Of TSEngine.IResult) = mTestSequence.CommandList (i). Result

    Results (i). Name

    mTestSequence.CommandList (i). ResultMeasurement.

    Next

    End Sub

    Technical support solution: "I spoke with R & D and they informed me that the type of data in question is a generic class that is not supported with the .NET adapter. You can change the data type of a code module to another using a data type of object reference, but you can not manipulate the generic classes within TestStand.

    "" "" You can find this information in aid of TestStand under NI TestStand environment reference help"TestStand adapters" adapters for .NET ' adapter .NET '.NET called settings ' settings not supported. Here, the solution would be to ask a code module that performs this task for you. »

    Change the settings for call .NET

    Parameters not supported

    The TestStand .NET adapter cannot call methods and properties that have arrays as parameters in staircase or return types and does not support structures that have shredded the members of the group.

    In addition, the .NET adapter does not support creating or call methods on generic classes.

    My solution was to implement the foregoing in VB.NET from TestStand .NET adapter does not support .NET generic data types.
