Totally Fed Up with C6300 All in One and lousy customer service!

I bought this C6380 All In One back to 2009, and since the first day have had problems. I had to search customer support every time I tried to use it and became so frustrated I've avoided simply by using the thing! I've tried for the last 6 weeks get this thing working and after contacting a representitive of the customer service that has talked about what could only be called VERY BROKEN English I was told that my product was "Obsolète" and that given that this model was made is no longer that there nothing they could do for me, except propose me an agreement on a new model. I tried all the solutions proposed in the print and Scan doctor and still can not print anything! My computer shows that it detects my printer but I get... "Failed to communicate with your selected product. I ran the whole wireless upward again and again and have tried everything, except pay HP to tell me what the problem with my printer 5 years 'OBSOLETE '!

It might be in the best interest to perform a complete uninstall and try to install it again with a clean slate. The software on the CD causes the error is not compatible, this CD was manufactured long before Windows 8. The CD can be discarded when doing anything on this computer.

To configure the computer for a clean installation follow these steps;

  1. Press the Windows and R key on the keyboard when your desktop
  2. Type %temp% , and then press on ENTRY.
  3. Find the most current 7z folder and open it
  4. Open Util or Utils, CCC
  5. Double-click the Uninstall_L3 , and follow the steps.

Now that's been following this: Windows: "Device setup has failed to complete" or the "Unknown device" Message appears on the computer during the Installation USB has, certain steps will be duplicates for what you have done in the past but follow exactly.     I solved the problem. The USB cable from the printer was not quite long enough to reach the back of my all in one computer, so I bought a USB extension cable. That works fine for normal printing, but apparently only works well for scanning.

    Once I connected the printer directly to the USB port on the computer, the scan function worked normally.

  • Flash and IOS - totally fed up with Adobe

    I have a Mac and a PC - yay.

    I'm specific apple on the Mac, everything else on the PC.

    My Adobe software is all on the PC. I like to use the PC - screen larger than the Macbook.

    Problem is that Adobe is actually forcing myself to use the MacBook.

    Now I can use Flash to build cross-platform of my PC stuff, but I need to create all the certificates and the profiles on the PC.

    If I want to make the development of IOS on Mac I have to generate profiles and new certificates.

    So spend using the flash/Flash Builder on a PC and native development on MAc means continually regenerate certificates.

    The only solution seems to be to spend my entire suite for Mac Adobe.

    If I had a computer desktop and laptop PC, I could install on both, but not a PC and a MacBook.

    I'm totally fed up with Adobe for this stupidity.

    If anyone knows differrent on the need to regenerate everything according to platform, please tell me.

    I have always used a .p12 generated on my imac on the PC. I downloaded openSSL and made my own .p12 on the PC as well (what a pain) but I see no reason to go there when the keychain it will create for you in 2 seconds. Application of cert, send to ios available portal, receive *.cer, installed in Keychain Access, export .p12, copy on PC. No problem at all.

    I myself choose a PC I need faster hardware. I don't see that you leave your environment development preferred for commissioning or certificates.

    Please try the below mentioned steps...

    1 > open the directory C:\program imaging\bin HP and then search for the following file: hpiscnapp.exe
    2 > right click on it and then select Creat shortcut on the desktop.
    3 > now get on the desktop and double-click the shortcut for hpiscnapp.exe open a window.
    4 > click new scan to start the search.

    Here are the steps I take in the manaul.

    1. I put the paper on the glass.

    I see that you are having some connection with the Photosmart 7520 problems and have been locked as a result. I think I know the area you are trying to access to, but to make sure that, if you're taking the IP address that is assigned to the printer and that striking in the address bar in your web browser?

    If so, this connection would be not the SSID and password of your router, unless you did that. This password can be reset by resetting the defaults on the printer network.

    To do this, tap the wrench in top right and then Wireless Menu . Support on the network by default and then post. Once restored, you will need run the Wireless Setup Wizard on the printer.

    Try to access the page again. Let me know if this solved your problem.
