  I don't know how to check the country, but I don't know how to reset. What you have to do, it is to remove the TouchPad of your HP webOS account and then add it again.

  Got a new at & t Veer (it was already unlocked), after have logged you in my existing profile, the phone came, but the App Catalog, has not been able to update itself as well as other applications.  Some of the suggestions in the forum to change the date to July 1 and force the update via the App Catalog, but it did not.  Clear and reset the phone, still didn't work.

  WEBosdoctor'ed the phone and it still has not installed the update (failed).

  Call in the experts to see if there are any other technique not too complicated to solve the problem.  WebOS is 2.1.2.

  I have seen one that required some hacking of level intermediate directories for reset the certificate, but a bit too risky for my basic skill level.

  Java 1.6 - minimum for WOSQI to work.
  In your search engine, search for 'Java 1.6' or 'Java 1.6 jre"to download Java
  the Oracle company.
  
  Your PC or laptop - WOSQI works on Windows, Linux and Mac.  I personally found
  that it does not work on PowerPC Mac, it's that you can't get Java 1.6 for these computers.
  And on PC Windows 8.1, I don't think that pilots Novacomd works on this version.

  Now, the real work begins.
  
  1. install Java on your workstation.
  
  2. If your Veer is messed up, restore it back to factory using WebOSDoctor condition.  Good
  on screen instructions.
  
  3. launch your device and complete the activation and the Palm profile process.
  The AppCatalog update will fail, but it's OK, we'll fix it later.
  Once your device is running, put in Developer Mode.  To make this entry
  the Konami code on the home screen.
  Type the code as shown: "upupdowndownleftrightleftrightbastart". It's a bit geeky,
  but it works.
  Alternatively, you can type in, "webos20090606".
  You'll be put in the screen in developer mode, slide the switch to on to activate
  Developer mode.
  You can disable it later once you have applied the update to the App catalog,
  using the same codes.
  
  4. start WebOSQuickInstall (webosquickinstall.jar).
  
  5. attach your device to your workstation.  Once the workstation is aware of your
  device WOSQI will also recognize your device. You should see the name of
  your device in a drop-down list in the WOSQI.  Your device will also ask you

  Select, load your device.
  
  6. There will be an icon on the right side of the WOSQI window that looks to the world

  com Palm.app.appcatalogupdate_2.0.0.IPK.  Open the ipk.
  When you open this ipk, it automatically calls Preware
  to install the ipk.  When this is done, the App Catalog should be
  fully functional.  A restart of the swing may be required.
  
  12. reset the date system is automatic.  You should now be able to download
  the App Catalog programs.
  
  13. Notes, with the patch in place, you need to occasionally clean the download
  folder for managing storage.

  Whenever I have a problem with my pre, I reached my computer to access this forum. It's my bridge here, why don't we have an application (like craigslist) for the "Palm Support Forums" in the App Catalog?

  Pre is a multitasking phone and he can handle, I can't really compare pre to any other phone for this feature, . My point here is while browsing in a map, we can apply these settings in the other window/plug.

  I don't know why, but App catalog returns with "unknown error" every time I do a search. I'm running wireless via a captive 3 G connection so maybe it's a question of wait time. But it's annoying.

  I think you're right - it's a problem of 3G, not the app catalog itself - so apologies to HP for this.

  It was working fine yesterday all about 3G and worked OK last night when I got home too.

• Can not download apps from the App Catalog

  The screen is broken on my pre, so I bought a used meadow of Craigslist. I entered my info in Palm profile and there loading all my contacts, but he has been unable to download one of my installed applications. Not much, I've never really used most of them anyway so I just removed all. I wanted to download a select few that I use (Facebook, etc), but when you try to download from the App Catalog I get the message "failed download. I get the message for all the applications that I'm trying to download. There is no other just error message "download failed". This has happened for 24 hours now, hoping someone here can give me a solution.

  I'm on the Bell Canada network, and I've never had a problem installing apps with my old pre.

  There are several clients who report problems regarding not being able to download apps on the Bell network.

  We are currently investigating the issue to identify the root cause and do the analysis.

  Currently as it sits now we noticed that the download above EV network runs out of Bell, but downloading via a wireless network works. At this stage with the prior information he don't currently seems to be a problem of the App Catalog.

• AccuRadio missing on the App Catalog

  Yes, I did everything until and including a partial erasure.  Nothing.  As I said I have live chat with technical support of palm.  Since then, I've waited to see if the app just pops up again.  Once again, nothing.  I was also recommended a full erase but don't want to go that far for one application (although I really like it).  It's a very strange thing.  And it seems that there could be a difference between the catalog because everywhere I read that lists new applications (American) does not mention the app CBCNews (a Canadian news source) which I just downloaded 2 days ago.

  My wife and I got the last week of the GER.  Love them.  I actually had a hero for a while, but he didn't resist his pre.  Only one problem: it has applications in its app catalog that I did not.

  I searched and navigated to gDial Pro, Twee and some other applications on his phone, but they will not be displayed for me.  Any ideas why Miss me the apps?

  I'm on a Windows computer and the creative Cloud app will show me ONLY "update available" (see screenshot). How can I get the menu bar with the home, Apps, active, community to appear buttons? The only options in the gear menu are preferences, help, PIN at the Notification area and leave. And preferences are greyed out.

• Another App Catalog problem, since the upgrade to webOS 1.4.1.1

  Since I've updated webOS, I have unsuccessfully to download something from the App Catalog.  If I try to download a free application, or the one and only app that I paid for (which is saying I can download it for free, given that my credit card has already been charged), I get the same result.

  After I clicked "Download", the "Download" bar... "appears at the bottom of the screen.  And then he left just like that until I give up and click on the "App Catalog" drop-down list, then "Pause all downloads" and then "remove paused downloads.

  Does anyone have any suggestions?

  Genius is recommend at this time to resolve this issue, customers should do a partial deletion (delete Apps & data).  For more information on the conduct of this deletion, see restarting and resetting your phone in our support knowlegebase.

  Your backup of your Palm profile should restore all your purchased applications and contact information (if you are synergy with Google, Yahoo, etc. that if she didn't is not manually add these accounts is, data will be restored as well;). See using backup for a list of what is and is not backed up and restored on your phone.

  If there is anyone who IS NOT solve this problem, we need to look more closely at your phone.  However from what we have seen this solution should work for most who have this problem.

• El Capitan 10.11.6 updating only not on the App Store update list

  I just installed iTunes 12.4.2 and El Capitan 10.11.6 but only iTunes does appear in the list of the App Store updates 'updates installed in the last 30 days.  Have never seen this before.  Restarted App Store app a few times and restarted the computer.  System seems to work very well.  Not a major problem, but thought I would mention it.

  Even here, also oddly I had raw update 6.20 as requiring installation, even if it had been in June. iMac is saying his 10.11.6 but you say its not no projection in App store updates.

  I spent in and set the date to July 1, 2013.    The App Catalog, after reboot, finally came without a yellow triangle next to him.  So I type.  Shooting specifications of Hp App Catalog with bar 'report a problem' at the bottom.  Upper left corner has software Manager tab, tap and get the search bar, then I type in the App Catalog update, to the right of the table has a box with "palm" in an orange circle that says 'coming soon' and to halfway to the bottom of the screen there is an empty box black 1 "that looks like something is missing from the page and that is that I get.  I tried to download the Pack "Care" or anything else in the App Catalog and get "the action could not be completed try again later" with a retry button.  He will never appear to try to do something.
