Listfied, cellular level development

Hello

I use a listview to display images in a grid format. I would like to know if it is possible to use a Listfield to get the focus on a particular cell. Essentially allow the cellular level navigation. This I have to use Fieldmanagers or could I use the Listfield?

ListField will do that for you, without a lot of work. Search for the TableLayoutManager, you might find that works best for your needs.

Validation of data as a planning problem

I have a form of planning that has 4 columns.
-The first is a Smartlist task status.
-Second and third are read-only powered by another system.
-The fourth column is when users enter data
Users need the ability to color the cells in the fourth column based on the status of the task they choose in the first column.
If it is 'finished' so red and so 'in progress' or 'not started' then green.
I created a Data Validation rule that works but the problem is line is highlighted instead of just the cell in column 4.
Basically, I want to
If column A = 1 (option smartlist) then column D = Red
If column A = 2 (option smartlist) then column D = Green
Etc, but cannot make it work.
I tried and plays a lot with options, but does not work. I enclose the form and the Validation rule. Any help or ideas is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I checked your doc and the location is set to 'Grid', which means that it requires a level of grid. You can also configure at the cellular level. Try it and tell me if this helps

Caching of video content on the spot.
I'm not a Flash programmer. I am trying to determine the feasibility of using Flash for a specific application on a third device which include a Flash drive.
ActionScript 3 is supported, but the target must be Flash player 10.3. The target is a standalone Flash player.
Before you write specifications of software and find a Flash developer real point I want to make sure that the Flash has the capabilities I'm looking for. I took a bit of a crash course in Flash and have been able to demonstrate that it can do a lot of things I need to do. The last thing is:
Part of the requirements of the software will be to read video content hosted on a remote web server. However, it should be able to download this content when a connection is available and to cache locally (on the order of gigabytes of content) so that can play the content cached offline when no connection is available. Basically, the application is a kind of VCR I want basically to be able to load the content from a remote source and then run on its own with no connection after that.
What I want to know is: is it possible? I don't need to know how or how much (if any) of ways there are to do, I just need to know if this is possible. I don't know anything about the capabilities of Flash to access local storage of any, so apologies if this is a stupid question - especially, I wonder about the permissions of the Flash and 'sandbox', as well as its ability to access the local file system or storage areas for sandbox type cache.
My second question is: If it's possible, it's something easily feasible that a mid-level developer could implement, or it would usually be something complicated, requiring a more experienced and skilled developer?
I don't know if it's important, but in my limited experiences, I checked that Flash do programs have access to the network (via the) regardless of the security setting "for local files only" vs "in network". However, I have not tested the access to local files (and also I do not know if the Flash has a special place for cached data or if one would use the local file system or what--that would be up to the programmer I guess).

It is feasible (although the user will be aware of and participate in the cross-domain download) and you encounter a problem with this file size because flash player takes officially supported up to 100 MB file sizes.

Limiting the visibility of the data by the owners of scenario
I know that the security filters can make measurements read-only for a particular user.
What is the best practice to restrict a user or a subset of users to be able to see a part of an application, but not part of the application (example: American planners want to see the list of the United States, or a subset of the American list, but do not want to see the data for the EMEA or APAC). What is better controlled with several cubes, or is it a form any safety or other device to prevent users or owners of the scenario to see other data of areas?

Thank you. Security filters can be defined at a cellular level, and available permission settings are no access, read-only and read-write. So if you set the American planners access to EMEA of lack of access data, they see no data to measure associated with the part of the EMEA of the dimension.

As I could not achieve security at the cellular level through planning, I changed for this user security filters in Essbase. Is there a problem if the security between planning and Essbase is not synchronized? We are on Hyperion 9.3.1.

Prashanth The only problem you will get really, it's that when you refresh planning with checked filters and then they will be recreated in essbase.

Develop a specific level of a multi level Advanced DataGrid
I have an Advanced DataGrid (ADG) that displays three levels - we'll call it 'Parent', 'Child' and 'Child Detail' - using a HierarchicalData collection which is built from XML from a Web service (see attached code).

The ADG is generated as I do, and I'm able to develop all levels, as well as reduce all levels using the expandAll() and collapseAll() methods.

However, by default, I want the grid to display with the first level ("Parent") as the only open level. I can't find a way to do this, using existing properties and methods of the ADG class.

Does anyone have any suggestions? Don't know not if anyone out there cares, but I found a better way to do it. I was forced to find a new way since FB3 Beta2 no longer supports the 'openItems' mx.controls.AdvancedDataGrid property. See code attached for the solution.
Notes:
'This' is the ADG as a Flex component

I need to get the list of all hosts and its groups of belonging to the vcenter folder level.
1. I created a view giving the extension point: vsphere.core.folder.monitorViews.
2. After this step, I wrote the constraint as in my class of mediator,

I was expecting a list of all child entities such as hosts, dc, cluster... But I have only the immediate child object which is only the Datacenter as my result.
Is it possible to get all hosts and vCenter folder level Clusters because I need the entire list to vCenter (highest level).
Other info:
Object file has only two properties:
1 childEntity - list of entities
2 childType in-kind folder ('Virtual Machine', 'Data center'...)
Is it possible to write a constraint specifying which list of childEntities I need using childType in.
Example: Make Me childEntities that has a 'Host' and 'Cluster' childType but childType in doesn't have these two types.
In addition, at this level, I could see the 'Associated objects' tab which has all the information I need, such as Clusters and Cluster tab hosts and host tab respectively.
So, I think its possible to get this list to vCenter folder level.
I have attached a screenshot representing the need. Kindly ignore the Conventions of naming in there since I edited the example comes with the sdk program.

Query:
1. How can I get the host and Cluster (table of relationship) list to vCenter folder level or even at the level of the vise.global.view?
2. once I get this list, is it possible for me to manipulate that list and send the new list to IU?
3. is there another way to do the same thing without the help of model classes and mediator?

Pointers to this will be very useful.
It is not possible to obtain all hosts a folder specific vCenter from a single query Data Manager. You need to get the list of centers of data first and then get a list of data center hosts.
It is best to make these repeated requests to the java level and return only the list that you want to the user interface.
You can get all the objects in the host of the system with a simple query using a constraint with targetType = 'HostSystem', but you will need to eliminate those from other vCenter servers. -Samar PL see ML Doc 232313.1 (information on previous Versions of developer 6i Patchsets) which lists the different version numbers installed by different versions of 6i (Patch15 to Patch 18 ) fix.
If you call f60desm on Unix, you can see which version is installed.
You can also run the executable file in ORACLE_HOME/orainst/inspdver $ to get the version number. See ML Doc 148392.1 (how to find what has been installed on a Unix Forum)

Create the recovery disk - operating system developed at level
When I got to my x 201, I got Win 7 Home and I created the recovery disks. I then upgraded to Windows 7 Professional and I tried to create the new recovery but message says system recovery cannot be created only once.
I can create the new collection to reflect the Win7Pro?
