• Error occurred during the certification exam

  Hello
  Please can someone give me some advice about my problem.
  
  In a Pearson view test center, I encountered an error during my certification exam due to problem of connectivity to the test center.
  After that I was not able to continue my review, administrator at the testing center didn't know how to handle this.
  They tried to restart the computer, in order to continue the trial on another computer, but nothing helps.
  
  Test center has reported an incident to Pearson view report, promising that a person view will contact me within the next 48 hours, until now spent 40 hours, but no one has contacted me yet. They do not want me to send the email to view, saying that it is a confidential email, they wrote.
  
  Because of this I can't do anything on my own because I don't have access to the e-mail of reported problem and I can't refer to him directly to the view.
  
  A person at a test center called me yesterday to inform me that it is confirmed that a technical error has occurred during my review but they offer no solution, I just have to wait to view contact me.
  
  I have another problem because my coupon expires for a few days and in those days, because of my business-to-business commitments and obligations I'm not able to write another test. I can only do so after expiry of the certification day.
  
  At the testing center, they say that they are not responsible for the error, and that I'll be able to take another test with the coupon expired if and only if the view which will allow. As they say, all I can do now is to wait for a miracle to happen. :(
  
  Don't you think that the test center is responsible for the error? And I have no right to request a new voucher if view in some cases does not allow me to take the test again with the same good again.
  
  I'm really desperate, I can't believe that a test center is not responsible for the error that happened in their establishment.
  Is this error, the liability of Pearson view or Test center of responsibility?
  
  I read on the forums that I should apply for refund/recovery orders... but I should directly view or Testing Center where the error occurred?
  
  Please give me advice on how I can handle it and what I can do to solve the problem.

  I took the seminar for RAC and oracle 11 GRID infrastructure certification exam.

  I was wondering if they will ever do this course of preparation for Oracle 12 c for

  * performance (1z0-064)

  * rac and grid infrastructure (1z0-068)

  * Data Guard (1z0-066)

  I are actually eligible for your first condition since my employer is a partner of Oracle.  That said, I don't take the OCS reviews in order to earn stars of gold for my employer.

  Reviews of the OCS are less technically oriented types of certification. They are intended for vendors and integrators that need to be able to talk about his products and reasonably knowledgeable Oracle making.  Exams I've taken were much more focused towards the fact that there is a given feature and functionality, there with the implementation of the function in the real world. This is not to say that the information that you need to learn how to pass exams of the OCS are not valid. It's good to know what are the features of Oracle products. I have been asked by my employers and past to the opportunity to integrate the feature 'X' into our solutions. Preparation for OCS-level exams can give you an overview of how (or if) given the capabilities of Oracle products can help (or not) in a given situation.

  That said, the OCP and OCE certifications are much more valuable when you really want to learn how to use the various technologies of Oracle.

  Regarding the recommendations, 1Z0-061 has an Oracle Press book developed for it. They are almost always a good choice. The only books written specifically for 1Z0-144 is the study guide that I wrote.  In addition, many people have stated in the past that they used the book of Oracle PL/SQL Programming of Steve Feuerstein.

  I send you this mail because recently I passed the exam 1Z0-053-Oracle Database 11 g: Administration II, which is the last review necessary to acquire the OCP Certification. However, in the path to certification, I need to prove that I participated in an official Oracle training.

  Research for the course on the site to view pearson, I did find the name of course on the list. So I'm sending you this email with the courses required for certification information. I attended the course at FIAP College (http://www.fiap.com.br/en/conheca-a-fiap/parcerias-estrategicas/), in the city of São Paulo (Brazil) of March, 2010 until March 2011. The above link is possible to check that the University is a partner of Oracle. The title I had was "Graduate in Oracle Database Management".

• How rate/knowledge so ready for the Oracle Certification

  Hi, I am interested in an Oracle Certification exam (1Z0-144), but I'm not sure if I'm ready.

  Any suggestions on how I could notice me if I am ready for the examination? I have (almost) no idea on what would be the review or what topics would be covered.

  Oracle PL/SQL (and SQL) certifications are not really related to the output of the database as are the DBA certifications. The exam 1Z0-147 was developed during the version 9i, and the exam 1Z0-144 was developed during the release of 11 g.  However, a review wins the same certification credentials (i.e. you do not become a 'Oracle 11 g PL/SQL Developer Certified Associate'.  The reason is that SQL and PL/SQL undergo massive changes from one version to the other. However, they change slightly from one version to the other, and OU must periodically update information on trial so that it matches the available capacities.  I talk about this in the article below.  It is specific for reviews of databases SQL, but the basic concepts are the same for reviews of PL/SQL.

  Basically However - even if you are using oracle 10g, I recommend that you take 1Z0-144, because it's a review better than 1Z0 - 147.  I give my reasoning for it the following article:

  The total cost depends on a) how much tuition fees. (b) course how you decide to do. (c) how many times take you the exam.

  You have to follow a course of training approved vmware in order to register for the examination of the secure Channel. Take a look through the forums, a good starting point is the training section and the education of VMware site

  Recently, I took and passed my exam 1Z0-052. Glancing 1Z0 - 053; Oracle requires I attend one of their training courses. When I took my exam 1Z0-052 in the Center; one of the employees was trying to register for Oracle training. According to him, their classes meet the requirements of Oracle for exam 1Z0-053. However, the format of the class is different from the class, I took with Oracle University. (I had DB Oracle 10 g 1 Admin workshop with Oracle University - don't ask me why I didn't take the 1Z0-042 exam and finish on 1Z0 - 043; between work and life, the big procrastinator in me never capitalize on it).
  
  Anyway, my question is, has this guy to the centre-right? If I attend their training courses; It will satisfy the requirements of Oracle for exam 1Z0-053? Has anyone taken training outside of Oracle University and Oracle 1Z0-053 satisfaction requirements? Or can you please show me the link or point me to the right representing Oracle who can answer that?

  OU is always a safe choice, an OEAC should be safe, as long as they deliver a course under the ORGANIZATIONAL unit.

  So, excluding Oracle Academy program of development of labour leaves leaves (WDP).

  Sometimes it seems to me also possilble an OEAC can offer a course under (WDP).

  ... If you do the course in framework of the WDP, then the rules can be as follows:
  -You are only allowed to make a maximum number of hours / week.
  -You will need to make 11g DBA admin 2 or whatever they call it (I never go a lot on these names... a name can be manipulated, misused, abused, confused, misinterpreted and misunderstood in a misleading way).
  -The quality of the teachng o n WDP can sometimes be much less than others.
  -The course of the WDP will be generally much cheaper.
  -Your contract with the Institute of the WDP rather than Oracle... is if something is wrong with your problem with the Institute of the WDP no Oracle. (This may also apply to o).
  -I think with WDP you used to have to complete the DBA track all end to end, I think only a course (or 11(f) DBA admin I or 11g DBA admin II) is required.
  -I recommend you to get in writing, not orally, of the Institute of the WDP class you have booked and paid for will satisfy the validitating cover the hands on training for Oracle 11 g OCP DBA Certification requirements.

  The course you mention is on the list of approved courses that count in the obligation of training for 11g OCP DBA (http://education.oracle.com/pls/web_prod-plq-dad/db_pages.getpage?page_id=244#5).

  Once you get OCP DBA 11g certification, you can get Performance Tuning certification by review 054 - further training is not necessary.
