    Hello...

Live webcam updater does not update the frimware BIOS, you will need to download and install it directly.

V 2.06 both V2.08 for model V5 - 122P are listed on the Acer website for the suport.

The site displays only the most recent drivers.

  • Live webcam updater screwed to the top of my Acer W4 (brightness controls and screen Metro broke)

UGG knew the deivce is working good

I did a live update for a new bios it installed and work, after the reboot, my screen metor is slow, he hasmore icon than he had done previously and now my brightness control has stopped working on the screen. I can't turn down the brightness at all in the control parameter or power controls.

How to take the subway at only 3 rows of icons and how do Iget my brightness control works again? It's virtually unusable tablet, screen is bright andmetro screen is horrible slow. Already done a reboot, live update shows no new updates.

Need help on this a little.

Nevermind, I saw in the device manager that the firmaware somehow wantedanother restart to complete the update of the firmware. Very strange, because it seems to complete the first time and the live update did not show anything in the waiting.

    Hello

    ·         Exactly how you try to install the update? Is it through Windows Update or manually?

This problem may occur if the previous version of Office Live Add-in is installed, such as Office Live Add-in 1.4. For now, I suggest using Microsoft Fixit listed in the article to delete the old Office Live Add-in from the computer and then try to reinstall Office Live Add-in 1.5.

You can run the fixit mentioned in the article.

  • Update Microsoft Security Essentials error

A recent version of the 4.9.218.0 update (KB3140527) automatically updated on my PC, Friday, February 25, 16.  That night, I tried to log on my PC and when I typed my password the next theing happened has the screen became black and would go no further.  The keyboard the lights were on, the fan was running and the cursor of the mouse could be seen on the screen but otherwise black.

I had to unplug and remove the battery to restart the PC in safe mode.  I then had to restore to the previous point.  After my PC worked fine but the next morning the update even ran automatically and the same thing happened on 26/02/16.

I had to disable the automatic updates for now, this update is the cause of the screen to go black.

    Anyone else having this problem?

Friday, 3/4, I did a windows update and downloaded and applied Windows Live Essentials.  When it restarted, my computer crashed.  Somehow, I was able to come back to life, but Windows Live Messenger has stopped working (did not connect).  I uninstalled and reinstalled several times, clean cache contacts, use the Windows Installer Cleanup tool and everything I could find.

In addition to this, when I go to Windows Update now it states: not Windows is able to check for new updates.  8007007E error (unknown error)

Also, I noticed that I have a few updates installed in the history of the update, but when I click on "installed updates" to try to remove them, they are not in this list.  They are:
    -Office Live add in
    -Windows Live Essentials
    -Windows Powershell 1.0

Keeping in line with what said Sohail Patel, the functions for the 831429 KB are for XP and older versions, but which must take place for your question are measures which would be beneficial for this update.

Here is a link to SFC/scannow Vista procedure, please follow and understand any corrupt file errors found and paste this information into the post on the forum.
