  This problem has been fixed in the latest update to animate CC.

  You can upgrade to animate CC 15.1.0.1.13 creative use of cloud App or via the Help menu > updates.

  Hi all

  I have a dynamic form created in Adobe Livecycle Designer ES, which contains several subforms positioned inside a fluid page. I want to have two fields of text inside one of the subforms so that the text entered in the first field of text (not expandable) will continue in the text field (which is a repeating field). I know that there is a script inside of Acrobat that will do, but may not know how to write a JavaScript for the form in livecycle designer.

  The two fields serve as stand-alones without problem, but not as described above.

  (Here's the script Acrobat XI, which doesn't work for in livecycle, but give an idea of what I'm trying to do):

  I went through tutorials on lynda.com and success exceeds my form.

  However I can't understand how a change of default Times Roman in form fields in a different typeface.

  I assigned followed by paragraph styles, object styles, but nothing happens. I also can't change the font color in the text fields.

  You cannot change the default font to a form field in Indesign. You can change the font in Acrobat by changing the form > by selecting the field properties > appearance > fonts

  I am trying to print a form once filled the text fields I want to print just what I typed in the field, not the text field and the color in the text field. I use CS3.

  If you want to change the fonts or other things, then you will need to use the PrePrint method. What I usually do is select PrePrint in the 'Show' section in the Script Editor (if you did not go to the toolbar at the top, Windows and select Script Editor). After selecting PrePrint you can now either type the name of the subform and the field you want to change (or you can place the cursor in the script dialog box, hold down the CTRL key and select the field with the mouse) and enter in the JS to change font. It's something like TextField1.fillcolor = "255, 255, 255; (which changes the background in white fill). You can also replace fillcolor fonts or border to change the color of the police or the border. I put a link to an Adobe website that goes over the color JS below changes. You just need to add a method of pre-press for each field that you want to remove the necessary on highlighting. Then once the user hits a button print that you have on the form or use CTRL + P to print the form, it will remove any highlighting.

  Now on the text field does not itself feel that I do not know what you ask for. You ask for the legend does not print or not there is a box around the data entered. If you don't want to have a box surround the text field located in the section purpose of the field (see image below). You just need to select none, if you want to just text. If you want to change that with JS, I put another link below that has the code to change the color of the border in white and the user can't see it. • Problem of text selection in the text field for entry in the emulator

  I'm having a problem of text selection in a text field when I run my application in the emulator Playbook. Let me see if I can expose the problem here:

  1. The field in question is a classic text, text with an integrated in police entry field. The domain is in a SWC and referenced in another FILE.
  2. The code is set up such that when a user clicks the field function is called to highlight all the text. The code is more or less as follows:

  The problem I'm having is that when I try clicking on the emulator, the text field in 'domain' is sometimes selected as expected, sometimes not. When the text is not selected as expected the cursor always appears in the field and the Playbook keyboard slides up by below. What is particularly problematic, that's what often happens, is that the whole scene moves upward on 10px when it is clicked on the ground. If I try to click on the same ground once again, another change to the top of 10px or so, etc..

  So why the text not properly selected and why the scene evolves upwards?

  I realize that more information may be required from me to correctly solve this problem, but if someone has all understand why this may be the case, I would be happy to learn from him.

  I can answer the question of displacement.  This is a bug in BB and supposed to be fixed in version «next» SDK

  The question of the selection, I'll guess has to do with the fileld with focus, selection is not possible.  Try to set the focus outside of maybe the text field?

  In LiveCycle Designer, you need to replace this with event.target to use Acrobat script methods.

  The police in the text field gets very little if I type too.

  How can I make the size of the font to remain consistent.    I have a text field for the city and I often have to type in Jacksonville.   The police is very low for long words.

  The size of the text if auto size if the signatory is trying to enter text more than the length of the assigned text field. You can adjust the length of appropriate size text field, or you can do by double-clicking on the multiline text field and check "multiline".

  Hi all

  I have a problem with my textfields in Livecycle. My goal is to have a text field of a certain size that can expand to accommodate more text or reduced to fit the text that does not have full space that offers the text field. I put my height of the text field to display everything and wrote a javascript statement to minimize the size of the text box to fit all text entered. The code is as follows and is in the output of the field event:

  EC that it is supposed to do, is to minimize the height of the text field when the user leaves the field so that the field corresponds to the amount of text (there is a default value on the field "Enter text here."). Everything works perfectly and the field will develop and adjust the text, however when the form is saved and then re-opened, the text field is reduced to an incredibly small size so that only the first line of the text is visible and it is cut in half.

  I suspect that the problem comes from the fact that the script I've written sets the height of an empty value, but it is only in the case of output, so the size of the field should not change from when the form is saved to when it is open. Does anyone have ideas for how to fix this?

  Replace this.resolveNode("$").h = "' with this.minH =".01in ".

  Also, this.resolveNode("$") is the same as just 'this' (as I know).

  I'm actually developing a litte in flash game and try to update the score in a textfield. The text field is dynamic and initialized with a value of 0 in the IDE.

  I use the following code to update the content of the text field in actionsript:

  txtBlocksPlaced.text = blocksPlaced.toString ();

  But: When I start the game, the initial value is - OK. When I am trying update the value with the code above the content is endangered - incorrect. The value of the text box and the variable displays the correct value that should be displayed. Fonts are included.

  I already checked: http://forums.Adobe.com/message/4919054#4919054 and these updates are installed on my machine.

  Please, someone has an idea? I do not get around what could cause this or what Miss me.

  Is the police that you used a common police or is it a special police?  Some policies will not incorporate independently going through the motions.

• problem with the characters of the text field

  Hi all

  I'm missing a few characters, once I insert the text in a dynamic text field. characters are not lacking by saying; they are replaced by empty squares.

  characters such as the euro symbol and accentuated German letter.

  What is weird is that the other German accented letters appear. If only a few selected are missing.

  How Ive set up the FLA:

  (1) I added 4 text fields to the scene to police im using, Arial, one for each font style: normal, italic, bold and bold italic and in all 4 fields ive incorporated all Latin characters (to include the German characters accentuaded and im guessing it is in the punctuation group that contains the euro symbol so that one is also incorporated), not to mention as lowercase, uppercase, numeric, and all the groupd default to include the basic text.

  (2) I have a dynamic text field created with createTextField, and set up the ActionScript code following (2):

• I just upgraded to Firefox 17.0.1 and now I am unable to what it is concluded from the text fields.

  After the upgrade to Firefox 17.0.1 cannot enter text in the toolbar URL, the search bar, or any text boxes/entry forms/fields on Web pages. When you click on the text field, the cursor is positioned properly and flashes but typing does not generate any text.

  OK the solution to this problem (to fear for me) is completely restart the computer.

  The problem here is that text fields normally tell their manager encompassing that they want to take the entire width.  FlowFieldManager who will respect and give them the entire width.

  You will need to customize the text field, replace the functions of layout and width and make sure he asks only the size that he actually need.

  If the text cannot be updated, and then you try to use rather than RichTextField LabelField.  LabelField asks only the width he needed.

  Sorry I can't give you any appropriate code because I have never done this.  I did not because from a user interface point of view I don't think it looks good.

  This mechanism can fail when the text field resumed more size on a width - fields are always "rectangular".
