  Here, I'm a bit confused. In my page, I have three text boxes, they are - P10_YEAR, P10_MONTH, P10_TOTAL. I use LOV for year and month field. LOV is as for the year 2000, 2000, 2001; for the month of June 2001; June, July. ; July and so on. Month field is set to textbox to validate.
  So I want to recover the data in the P10_TOTAL when the user selects the month. Interestingly, it always returns 0, but it should be more than that. I put the Source for P10_TOTAL as PL/SQL Expression * 0 = (SELECT count (*) from rtv_metro_count where record_month =: P10_month); * but it does not work. However, it does not work in the sql query and the toad. I tried to change the SQL query expression, but doesn't work anymore.
  
  Is there another way, I can run this task, retrieve data from the table in a specific text field? Please provide your suggestions.

  Create a process page - on submit using the following code:

• Automatic filling of the field Date in the text field to the Format YYMMDD

  I need to automatically populate a text field with a date that is entered in a date field. I was able to do this, but I couldn't find a way to have him fit in the text as YYMMDD field (with no spaces, dashes, etc) instead of "MM/DD/YY" as it is displayed in the date field.

  I don't know if it's the best option, but here is a workaround...

  using formcalc you can format your date fields

• How to disable "Show indicator of overflow for the text field" for all users on a Terminal Server.

  As the title suggests, I am trying to disable the "show text overflow indicator field' for all users that connect to a remote desktop in Windows Server 2008 R2 server. The Adobe Reader software version is 9.0.

  

  Looks like we have found a solution. We had a group of "update" policy the registry for the current user on login.  It's the key, you need to add in a GPO / your domain controller. In case you can't see in the screenshot, here's the path full key: Software\Adobe\Acrobat Reader\9.0\FormsPrefs

  You must select the page and go to object > palette of subform. There you must check "allow page breaks in the content."

  This will create a new instance of the page when the content goes beyond the first page.

  Hi sprphoto123,

  If you do not enter data in the text field 2 then you can set the form field property to is not mandatory, but if you want to disable the 2nd text field, you can add a check box in front of it to turn off the field. This can be achieved using JavaScript.

  I'm hit a roadblock here. I'm on Adobe Acrobat XI and here's the scenario: I have a list box and a text box.

  Drop-down menu field has 3 caps (A, B, C).

  If A is selected, the text box = 15 default, but has the ability to change in the text box.

  If B or C is selected, the text box = 0 or "by default, but it has the ability to change in the text box.

  If I use an if/then with a .value, I'll be able to get the numbers to work, but do not have the ability to edit and keep them there. If I enter another number in another area, the JavaScript code will run and change the text box to 0 or 15.

  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  Instead to use script logic for the text field, use the drop-down validation script. In this way, that it only will be triggered when you change the value in the drop-down list field, not when you change any field in the file (as the calculation script).

  I don't know anything about javascript and need help.  I have a photography contract I want to offer a "discount package" of $50 when the two services will be used.  1 service is 'Photography coverage' and Service 2 'Photo Booth Rental'.

  Text field 1 = subtotal (calculates the values of checkbox and radio button)

  Text field 2 = discount (it's where I need help.  I would like this automatically filled with $50 when my default two boxes are not selected.  But only when the TWO are not selected)

  Text field 3 = Total (which has a basic calculation of the Subtotal-Discount)

  The services of two by default (it's done on purpose, I checked from the beginning) are both set to the '0' values to keep the subtotal $ 0.  If the client will use a service (which means one of the default selections will be selected), then there will be no discount, but if they decide to use photography and the cabin, they save $50.

  Can someone please help me to write a script for the text field, Discount calculation, to accomplish what I ask?

  

  You can use something like what the calculation script custom field discount:

  Event.Value = (this.getField("Service1").value == 0 | this.getField("Service2").value == 0)? 0: 50;

  Simply adjust the field names in the code to match the real in your file.

• Insert the path to the file in the text field

  I'm creating a text tabled at the bottom of a form document that will automatically enter the path of the file (for example. C\:Folder\File) in the document after the document is saved.  I looked at a few Scripts, but nothing seems to work.  I guess it will look something like this on the option "postSave":
