LiveCycle unhandled win32 exception

Hello world.

LiveCycle was works well when I logged in last night.  Opening this morning last nights produced file an "unhandled win32 exception occurred in FormDesigner.exe [5864].» and asked if I wanted to debug.

When I selected NO, LiveCycle stops.

When I select Yes, Visual Studio message has been

First chance to 0x004a50cb in FormDesigner.exe exception: 0xC0000005: breach of access reading location 0 x 00000000

I am running XP Professional x 64 Edition SP2.  Should have been no update of the day to the next, but after LiveCycle has failed I restarted and there were a few updates.

Anyone know what is happening here?  I need this program!

Thank you!

Kay

There are some users of specific settings that are stored in the Documents and Settings area. My guess is that the update change the rights to access this area and we can no longer read the files that are there. If you go to this site:

c:/Documents and Settings/user login name/Application Data / Adobe / Designer.

There should be a directory with the version number. Remove this directory and then restart the designer. The directory will be recreated at startup.

    Hello

Sometimes simply restarting Captivate will correct the problems of this kind. If this does not work, you might have a corruption of current project.

I get an intermittent runtime exception in spoolsv.exe.  My guess is that the Service Manager is periodically launching the print spooler and not.  Printing does not work.

    Hi Wade,.

There seems to be a problem with startup error.

Were there any changes (hardware or software) to the computer before the show?

Put the computer to boot and check if that helps.

To help resolve other issues, and error messages you can start Windows XP by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot". A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

How to configure Windows XP to start in a "clean boot" State

  • Win32 exception in svchost.exe, many other problems that occur

INFO: Go to the last page to see my solution (there are two pages!)

I think this happened to me before.  I use the computer, the internet works, there is an audio device, and then 2 debuggers of just-in-time pop up and say that there is a win32 exception in svchost.exe.  Please, don't say this goes into the Visual Studio forums because, even if I uninstall it, another dialog box appears saying there is some kind of error in the application, and when I close it, I can't run programs more.  Sort of, I do not debug themes stopped working, and sign says 'no audio device not installed' even though it says there is one in the Device Manager.  It's happened before, and it separated.  I didn't know why.  I just turned on themes manually, he worked and re-installed my audio device.  Then, I went to microsoft update website to see if it would update, which was probably my problem the last time.  But it did not load the site.  The site, in internet explorer, said quickly "check you have the latest software update, something about activex and then opted for"the website has encountered a problem and cannot display the page you are trying to view".»  I was very fast, and I couldn't read by taking a screenshot.  Oh, and it was http://www.update.microsoft.com/microsoftupdate/v6/default.aspx?ln=en-us.  The options on the side are grayed out; I could not verify anything.  When you try to access this page in firefox, it says that the connection has been reset.  I can't update.  But that's not all.  When opening internet Explorer, there are 2 process iexplorer.exe.  In a path of the process Viewer, he confirmed that both come from the windows folder.  One is bigger.  Kill any process would result in the closure of internet explore.  That is to say, I'm not familiar with so I do not know if it is supposed to have 2 processes.  At one point, there was an Explorer.EXE and an explorer.exe.  I have done both and when you have nothing, that it was a virus.  I couldn't find the file and so it's probably still here.  Yet once, there are even more.  The Windows Firewall/internet sharing ect. process cannot start.  When you try to start it I get error 5: access is denied.  It isn't my printer, because my computer is not connected to one and the page of my computer not long to load.  I have XP home SP3.  In addition, when you try to start a java game, I get the message "the virtual machine cannot be started.  I have reinstalled java without result.  I have MSE.  I see no virus in my departure upward.  The win32 exception appears more than once, resulting in the themes service crashing.  This seems to be a virus.  There are several explorer.exe, but not Explorer.EXE.  In internet explorer, when I google something and click on a link, it is redirected instantly.  But not in firefox.  Thank you, if someone can find the solution.  I will try antivirus and restores system analyses.  Unless those who were corrupt, too.

MSE update!  Microsoft Update worked, too.  I downloaded TDSSKiller on my office and renamed it in randomname.com.  He ran clean when I did not.  I used the command prompt to change the extension of the files exe to com, but you can enable extensions file via file operations in Explorer. Then I ran it and it found one thing trojan backdoor that other programs could not remove.  Deleted, updated, and now everything is fine (sort of).  There is a beep randomly when starting upwards, but I use inconvenience.  Is everybody stumped, or something?  Someone can it mark as answer?

    Hello

The athwbx.sys belongs to the Atheros driver it seems that the installed Atheros Wlan driver isn't entirely compatible by Windows 8.1 System.
You can try remove / uninstall the driver in order to solve this problem.

If you have not created the disc of recovery in the past, then, you will not be able to recovery laptop back to the factory for Win 7 settings
I guess you will need to order the Toshiba recovery media in the event that you want to reuse the Win 7.

By the way: your laptop model was released in the United States, then you should check the page of forum and Toshiba USA support for the driver update.

    Hi Aziz,.

"Unhandled win32 exception" is an error of windows and not specific to any application. Photoshop can be triggered, but it is a mistake to operating system level.

Microsoft has confirmed this as a bug. Please follow the steps mentioned in the article.

Please take a backup of the registry until you make changes to this.

  • Impossible to access Visual Studio and MTM and get errors in IE after updates

I get a lot of unhandled exceptions after the recent microsoft security updates.

    (1) whenever I open internet Explorer, I get a message that the internet explore has stopped working. I click on debug and it tells me there is that an unhandled win32 exception occurred in iexplorer.exe [6028]. Note: the code [x] continues to change and does not remain @ [6028]. A different code everytime I open. (another pop up im getting is "to help protect your computer, data execution prevention has closed IE.")

    (2) I am able to connect to my TFS via VSTS and MTM. My VPN is connected correctly. I have ping Web sites and they are running.

Note: I did a restore of the system several times and my computer works very well after the system restore. Once install updates for windows, my computer starts again give me the above questions, then I know it's something to do with the windows updates.

Any thoughts? These updates are updates of security, so I don't want neglecting them to do a system restore, but all reported these bugs again so a patch can be sent?

Thanks for the reply Aziz. I ended up remove the internet Explorer and reinstall the inside and the problem disappeared. I appreciate your time and use your troubleshooting techniques so that I will again meet this issue.

  • WinXP - which seems to be a corruption of directory

    Hi all

I ran into a problem with access to some files (perhaps due to the update of a program existing... not sure). Am running WinXP SP3. Here's what I found so far:

    1. I have a subfolder that contains PDF files. If I'm in WinExplorer and I right click on a file name, I get a very short list of options. "Adobe Reader" and open Adobe Acrobat"are the first 2 (if I click on 1 of the Adobe options, nothing happens. However, if I open Adobe Reader and then try to open the file, I get "the name of the file above is not valid"... it's the same anme file I see in WinExplorer). I get about 4 or 5 other choices, but no editing options (cut, copy, paste, etc.). If I look at an adjacent folder (same level in the directory tree), if I right click on any one of these files, I get a long list of options (options above Adobe, AVG, WinZip, etc. and options publishing.

    2. in the folder 'wrong', if I slow click twice on the file, 1st time that the name of the file is highlighted, 2nd click on get a beep as a mistake and nothing happens. Cannot change the name. I also can't exceed the copy/edit, either. If I do a Dir /X command, I can see the long names and short names. However, I can't Reader to open the file for each name (when I tried yesterday, I thought I could at least open with a short name). I also downloaded s good file with a name short but was unable to open it.

    3. I did another folder plu high in the tree, believing that the problem could be related the number of characters allowed for the path/file name (although this has never been a problem before). I could not yet move the wrong files. This is the strange and possibly critical thing about it. After that I restored this new folder, I then tried to transfer file (including 3 subfolders) to the same directory level of the file with the wrong files. The result was that filenames in this set of folders was placed under the long file name short file name (8.3, 6 characters followed by "~ 1"). I tried to change the file names to long file names and, while I could change the name of the file, I was limited as to how many characters, I might add (maybe 8 or 9).

    4. I have a disc into a drive C and D. This problem with PDFs is on my drive D. I also noticed that when I go to the station of work/properties and click the System Restore tab (all other tabs appear to work normally), I'm getting poured into request if I want a debugging session in Visual Studio... something about "an unhandled win32 exception occurred in run32dll.exe []. I tried system restore running from the command prompt and got the same results.

It seems that it is a sort of directory corruption, specifically related to the long short name/parameters by name. According to what I've done so far, I downloaded new versions of some files, and as long as I do not place these files/folders in the tree where are the folder (s)? 'bad' files are OK. I am interested to know if there is a way I can 'restore' files to a healthy state. I ran antivirus programs and malware and that you have not seen serious infections. I also ran chkdsk but no serious disk errors were noted.

Thanks in advance for any help that anyone can provide.

    See you soon... Steph

    Hello stephr1,

Thanks for the return of the response.  I have included a link below from the Microsoft MSDN site which can help, I hope.  Please let us know status.

    MSDN:

    http://msdn.Microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa365247 (vs.85) .aspx

    Thank you

    James,

Thanks for (finally ;) to return to me.)

I solved two problems (I also had a situation with no enforcement system restore and enter directly into a session attempt to debug with Visual Studio).

As for the question of length of path/file name... Somewhere along the way, I have to (intentionally) increased the length of 1 or 2 of path names without realizing the impact that would have on the lower level directories and/or files. This apparently caused problems, I don't see until recently. I have reduced since the no. tanks in some of the names of path in addition to "flattening" the directory structure a bit to avoid this problem in the future. So far, it has worked.

Regarding the issue of the restoration of the system... the original problem seems to be related to access to the privileges of the folder System Volume Information hidden on the hard drives. To fix things, I temporarily changed the privileges to access these records to the appropriate volumes, their fame in "System Volume Information2" and then tried to run the system restore. When I did this, System Restore created new system volume files (without the ' 2') and then I deleted the files renamed (with a ' 2'). Everything is back to normal.

I wonder if we the recent updates of Windows XP made "unannounced adjustments" to the access privileges for these files, and that caused my problems.

Anyway, things are back to normal. I would like to offer congratulations to this forum to help me solve problems, but it seems that I have pretty well it matched out on mine (a suggestion initially was to reload the system... not the kind of response I can understand :(  However, I appreciate you and anyone else who tried to help me. Thank you.

    See you soon... Steph
