Load Image and removes BitmapData

Hello.

I use the qnx.ui.display.image class to load an image that is in the package with the application, and it works fine. However, I'm looking at a bunch of functions that take BitmapData format of an Image, and I wonder how to load an image in a format of BitmapData, or how to convert the qnx.ui.display.image class to give me the BitmapData form.

Thanks in advance.

Note that the Image can take a URL, Bitmap, or BitmapImage in setImage().  And it has a cache property that is a qnx.utils.ImageCache.

Apparently, qnx.utils.ImageCache.getImage () returns a BitmapData.  Looks like you need to know what URL cache stores under.  Not sure how you would find out that unless the image had been loaded in the first place of a URL.

The BitmapData docs say you can load with flash.display.Loader, then it can be assumed if you were loading from a URL that you would get directly, bypassing the ImageCache stuff.

(I don't have a direct answer, sorry.)

  • Do not load images and I get a message saying "this image has been removed for security reasons. What makes that? How can I stop it?

All images are blocked - without exception

You get this message on all sites?

Try the "Settings" dialog box If your Trend Micro toolbar is not already displayed, right-click an empty area of another toolbar or after your tabs and turn there. (Or Alt + v > toolbars > Trend Micro toolbar)

The settings dialog box (takes awhile to load) does not specifically mention blocking images, but it does not mention attachments. Tweaking these settings change anything?

You can try to disable your add - one (s) of Trend Micro security temporarily and see if that changes things.

Titanium includes several modules. I could start with the "Trend Micro Toolbar" and see if that is the question.

From the screenshot that you have downloaded, I see that you use Google Chrome browser to open Web sites.

What is the brand and model of your computer?

I suggest to open the same Web sites using Internet Explorer and check to see if you can open.

You can also try to delete your cache and other data from Chrome browser and check if you can open Web sites.

  • XML and Flash CS4 - loading images

    Hello

I am trying to learn how to use XML to load images and found a tutorial somewhere... Ok. HOWEVER, now I'm stuck on something.

I have loaded a lot of inches and you want to load a larger image version when you click on its thumbnail.

Had to work with, but poorly. Loading the same large image no matter what thumb is clicked. I would appreciate all the advice REALLY.

    Thank you!

    Hey tensioncore,.

the ActivityIndicator like all preloaded, including the image he. If you want a custom image, you will need to do the setSkin() method. but I didn't yet. Here's a sample code to test the feature. There are comments throughout. Basically, this application downloads googles image when you click on load image. and then when its downloading, it displays the activity indicator and get rid of it, when it finishes / generates an error.

hope that a few things cleared up. Good luck!

  • How the loading image in as3 without XML?

    Hey Hi,

Can someone help me please, I want to load image wihout using XML.

    How can I do this?

    Thank you

    JaxNa

The only thing you need XML for is to load in a list of images... it isn't as you need. You load images and swf with a Loader object files - and there is a lot of info in the help. In short, if you can simply do:

    var myLoader:Loader = new Loader();

    myLoader.load (new URLRequest ("myimage.jpg"));

    addChild (myLoader);

You can load several times, or you can use the bitmapdata class to make copies of the loaded bitmap image.

  • I clicked on the source page and remove nodes with the web developer and removal became permanent. EBay does not load pictures. How to fix?

The problem is on my desktop and my laptop. I got a little happy click on my desktop and click the Web Developer. I tried to remove an ad really annoying flash on the side of the screen. I think I entered in the source page and remove the node. I really don't know what happened, but stopped loading for ebay pictures and everything is a list written on the side of the page. I deleted the cache and cookies. I have reset mozilla. I uninstalled and reinstalled mozilla. Laptop is not immediately affected, but now having the same problem.

It is a very strange problem.

Any changes made with the web developer tool will save and should be cleared when the page is reloaded.

Try disabling graphics hardware acceleration. As this feature has been added to Firefox, it has gradually improved, but there are still some problems.

You will have to perhaps restart Firefox for it to take effect, so save any work first (e.g. you compose mail, documents online that you are editing, etc.).

    Then perform the following steps:

    • Click on the orange top left Firefox button, then select the 'Options' button, or, if there is no Firefox button at the top, go to tools > Options.
    • In the Firefox options window, click the Advanced tab, and then select 'General '.
    • You will find in the list of parameters, the checkbox use hardware acceleration when available . Clear this check box.
    • Now restart Firefox and see if the problems persist.

In addition, please check the updates for your graphics driver by following the steps in the following knowledge base articles:

  • IPad 2 slow to load and removes programs

I have an iPad 2, 4-5 years old, slow to load programs and falls frequently. Is it time for a new pad or a problem?

My models of iPad 2 and 3 are running just fine and dandy on the last iOS 9.2.1.

So the questions is not affects all former iPad users anywhere in the world.

What free data storage space is left on your iPad?

Ideally, your iPad needs to maintain a minimum free data storage space of 3-6 GB of space for reliable operation and ensure the possibility of update/update successful iOS.

If you get low on iPad for free space, then it is time to back up important data before deciiding what to remove from your iPad to make more free space on it.

How did you perform the upgrade?

Do the update/upgrade using WiFi is a less reliable method to upgrade.

It is better to upgrade an iDevice connected to a computer running iTunes with you sync iDevice had and backed up by iTunes rather than OTA Over The Air () using a wireless WiFi connection, if possible. Doing a major or critical OS update/update may be risky to do in Wifi or cell due to the risk of interruption of data or forged data, causing problems with downloading the OS data and the subsequent installation of the unit.

If you have no other choice than to use the Wifi, then make sure that you have a solid and stable connection the will of the signal does not induce the possibility of dropout data. Also, it is best to do the update/update via iTunes you will get the update/upgrade entire and not only a smaller WiFi download version/serving based on your iDevice to model that can or can not download everything that your particular iDevice needs. I prefer the iTunes method because there is minimal risk, and I've never had PROBLEMS with ANY operating system, updates using this method.

Here's my growing list of my possible corrections/suggestions to try on your iPad.

    Try them all.

    A disclaimer clause.

I make no warranty, express or implied, that my own procedures return EACH older iPad to a usable state, running.

Try to reset all the settings in the settings under general app and in the right column under restore.

Try stories reset and delete/reset the caches in all web browsers you use.

If you use Safari, these features may be in the application settings under Safari.

Other browsers have their settings inside the running application itself.

If your iPad has been activated for iCloud, in the application settings under iCloud, to the right, under iCloud Drive, type in iCloud drive and make sure that Safari is off to save data from Safari to iCloud by car.

Also, under iCloud in the application settings, in iCloud Drive, turn the feature off saving for all other desired apps DO NOT the data automatically on iCloud drive.

If you are using Safari is always causing issues.

Try changing / using web browser third another, different.

I do not use iOS Safari too much more because I found it cause me headaches on some Web sites, regularly, to visit.

I commonly use another third party browser, perfect browser (there are others that can suit your style better web browsing, so look all first to see what third-party browser may work better for you) and I have never experience many questions that Safari was originally.

In the application settings tab general, right under the spotlight sesrch, try disable the search under the applications who really don't need a research, as some games, remote controls, apps that are really useless to be searched, etc., in order to reduce the list to Spotlight search.

Try to turn the reduced movement.

This is found in the application of settings in the general tab, in the left panel.

In the right panel, look under accessibility, look to reduce the Motion and turn this feature "On".

You should see a significant performance increase on all models of iPad 2, 3 and 4.

In the application settings under the general tab, in the right column, search background App update and enable this setting to "off".

In the application settings, under the Panel of Safari, turn off / disable Safari Suggestions.

If you are willing to do (I, personally, would not recommend this), some users have reported that turn off find my phone/iPad, in the settings app in iCloud, has improved the performance of iOS, although I have no how this feature could be the cause of such a slowdown in execution, unless it's a bug in the iOS which only affects some iPad users.

Try an another hard reset of your iPad by simultaneously pressing buttons Home and sleep/wake button until your iPad goes to the dark and restarts with the Apple logo, then release the buttons.

    Good luck!
