Loading 2 alias of a member in a cube ASO by rule in essbase file

Hi all
I have a request from ASO. We are members of dimension using dimension build rule filesto load.
Currently I am only alias default load using reference of parent-child. (Parent0 Child0 alias0)

My problem is that I want to load two aliases. (1.default, 2.Default1). How is that possible?
What should be the structure of my flat file for loading the metadata?

Thanks in advance...

In a rule of load, you describe what table alias must be used. If you want to load more than one alias, then I suggest a format such as

Parent, child, alias aliases1, Alias2

You would have two first rules would ignore alias 2 during construction of the dimension and the second he would ignore Alias 1 load. Each would be the table of the correct alias to load. (ISO the global settings of the Dimension tab build properties dialogue box).

  • Could not load the Alias property in EPMA

    Hello

I'm trying to load the metadata in EPMA using files dishes and set the following in the header section. Dimension of the ALIAS is already created with the default member under him. Somehow, I can't load the Alias property for all dimensions. It appears empty in the Properties section of the window of EPMA.

    Please notify.

    ! Section = Dimensions
    ' Name

    ! Hierarchies = FUNCTION
"Parent, child, Alias = TwoPassCalc, Plan1Aggregation, per default, Dtx200, Description

Go to EPMA and see (either the shared library or a specific App tree structure)

    Click the dimension "Alias."
change lower category of system planning
Click the default member (select default or another)

You should now see a member (if it exists) in the Alias attribute

Go to the view drop-down list at the top. Go to display member and select "Both" or "Alias".

  • Error opening a VI (LabVIEW: unable to load dynamic library due to lack of external symbols or dependencies, or a format file not valid.) The file could not be loaded)

    Hi all!

Yesterday, I worked all day in a VI and today, unfortunately, I'm frustrated when I tried to open it. Received the following error message:

LABVIEW: Unable to load dynamic library due to lack of external symbols or dependencies, or a format file not valid. The "ENG633 v1.vi" file could not be loaded.

This message repeats when I try else open a Subvi.

    Step by step:

    1. I created a copy of the LabVIEW VI example: "FuzzyEx Tanks with control of PI." I kept the copy in the same original directory.

2 - I have edited the copy, created Subvi etc.

3 - once I finished my course of programming I closed all the cut (ctrl-x) files and copied (ctrl v) into the other folder.

    4. then I tried to open the next day and... bug! I just couldn't do

What can I do to open/recover the VI?

    I am using 32-bit LabVIEW 2016 in a Windows 10

I tried opening them and got the same error you did, so I them opened with a hex editor to see if there was something in the file, and there is literally nothing other than the value of 0x00 for the entire file.

  • Load of FDM data in cube ASO

    Hello

It is possible to load data from cubes ASO in 11.1.2.1 use FDM? I know that we cannot do in 11.1.1.3.
    Please advice.

    Thank you.

    Hello

Yet another workaround solution "doubtful" but could replicate you your outline of the ASO (members only) in a database of the OSB, set it as your target in FDM, but as you say never load the data to it and put something between the two.

This would mean that you have to maintain the hierarchy in two places, but it overcome the need to validate your cards.

I agree that we reach beyond the kingdoms here now so I think you need to find a way more 'standard' to achieve what you need.

    Good luck

  • should we empty loading data ODI and move to "Load rules" of Essbase?

    Hello
We use to load data in planning 11.1.1.3's ODI Essbase cubes.
Should move us data loading ODI on "Load rules" of Essbase?
We see no advantage to ODI over aid maxl Essbase calls script loading rules and calc scripts.
One thing he has the advantage on Essbase, is that it can refresh planning. Can you load supporting details and the text in the cell?

You have data from multiple sources, say some data sets are file bases, some are stored in warehouses or books of accounts, you want to collect these data, transform and apply the mapping, to load that data into essbase, you can add Automation around her then that is an example to use ODI to load data into essbase There are many others.
Yes you can do it with maxl, but must eventually bring about more strive to add automation, mappings, error handling etc. as you would if you have walked the path of ODI.
I do not say that you must use it, if you don't see any profit is meaningless.

  • problem update to bind a member with an attribute using the rule of load

Hi - I'm trying to update an existing Member with another attribute of the dimension of the attribute by using a load rule. In the properties to build the dimension, I have the name of the selected member where it says size. Underneath, I field Type, here, I have the dimension of the selected and then attribute below I have the number 0, to match with the child member, I'm trying to update for.

I am able to validate the rule, no problem, but when I run the update plan, my attributes for this member does not update. This happens to all of my attributes.

    I'm on Essbase 7.0.

    Thank you

You should (at least) two columns in your rule of load. The first column with the names of members of the basic members you want to associate attributes to and in the second column of the attribute member name.
If the dimension build properties for the first column, you set the name of the dimension and type of build level or generation (I suggest level) and set the number of levels. (Do not forget the dimension properties build to build level or you will get an error)
The second column, select the dimension then go down and select the dimension of the attribute that is associated with this dimension of the base

For example for the Basic sample, you may have a line that looks like

    100-10 can

For the first column, you would select Dimension = product, value of Type level = 0
The second column would Dimension = product Type = attribute dimension Pkg Type

In the dimension settings, make sure product is set to build level and can associate attributes and allows you to change the link.

  • I am trying to load the Canon camera software and I get the error message "error opening Ini file."

I have successfully loaded this software on another PC with XP, version 3.0.   5 modules are present in the package of Cannon and a module receives this error, the other 4 are loaded with success.

    Hi oldpro44,

    1. What is the model number of the camera?
    2. The place where you download the software of the camera?
    3. You are able to install other software or drivers on the computer?

    Method 1

I suggest that you uninstall all the software of the camera to the computer and then download the latest software from the camera to the Canon site and check if it helps.

How to change or remove a program in Windows XP

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/307895

    Method 2

If the previous step fails, then it is possible that some third-party programs installed on the computer is causing the problem.

I suggest that you put the computer in a clean boot state and check if it helps.

To help resolve the error and other messages, you can start Windows XP by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot". A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

See section to learn more about how to clean boot.

How to configure Windows XP to start in a "clean boot" State

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/310353

Reset the computer to start as usual

When you are finished troubleshooting, follow these steps to reset the computer to start as usual:

    (a) click Start, type msconfig in the search box and press ENTER.

    (b) If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type your password or click on continue.

    (c) under the general tab, click the Normal startup option, and then click OK.

    (d) when you are prompted to restart the computer, click on restart.

  • Formula Member BSO using MDX ASO

I use the Ref of the Essbase Tech to convert the below formula a calc to MDX member but just short. Help, please.

IF ((@ISDESC (Cans)) AND (@ISMBR (Gander)))

    Total_Hours / @PARENTVAL (containers, cans-> Total_Hours); ENDIF;

    And my attempt to MDX:

IIF ((IsAncestor [drums], [drums]. (CurrentMember]) AND (IS [Jars])),

    [Total_Hours] / ([containers], [cans].) CurrentMember.Parent, [Total_Hours]

    Thank you!

When you use IIF statement you must specify the TRUE and the FALSE instructions.

Change it as shown below and it should work

  • Lable only member display data in ASO

    Hello

I have marked the 'Measures' dimension on the outline as "Lable" only and also define the grouping property of all members of the measures dimension to "Ignore (~)' in an application of ASO. But when I retrieve the data in this cube in SmartView, I am able to see data at the level of the dimensions also, that is to say, to level 'Measures' and these data is the same as the data in the first member of the measures in the outline dimension. Please let me know how this can be corrected.

    Try something like

    ([T & M services], [40000000]) /([Services:],[40000000])

You may need to tweak it to calculate a percentage of true

    Hello

I am trying to load the alias to all member name.

My question if there are three table alias.

    1. by default

    2 name

    3. description

The table alias used currently by default.

But I want to load alias in the 'Name' table

Please help me how to select the table I need (for example in this case it's the name)

I remain attentive to your comments.

    Thank you

    Hello

In the section PropertyArray of your file listings, you have 4 columns. The 'key' (col 3) column should be filled with the name of your table alias.
