  You have several options: you can "re-edit" the image in the palette of assets, or you can remove the placeholder image and paste your own as described in http://www.adobekb.com/typography_pt3.html (text wrapping around a picture in a block of text)

  I didn't test this, but you could try using tag to call the image in the body of the e-mail activity (body allows html). For the source of the image, you can set up a folder to keep your images and then give the path to the image as a source.

• AS3: dynamically load images in the MC

  Currently I have 20 separate png images in the library to make a MC. So, there are 20 MC, each holding a specific image for which it is the right size.

  I want to put in place instead and need help with, to load dynamically a different set of 20 images (that I can add to the library), each one of the MC.

  I think I would need to create 20 empty MC to contain either of these sets of 20 png every first.

  What I need help: how this script so that the 2 buttons can be used: one button would charge the first series, each image in a MC empty specific which is sized to hold (total of 20 MC), and a second button to load the second series of 20 images, each in a specific empty MC that would also be correct size. I checked the loader class, but this seems to be the external URL for images not already in the library.

  Any help, suggestions appreciated.

  I hope that you are familiar with how to add dynamically to movieclips in the library.  You do this by assigning a class name to the movieclip in the library and declare you a new instance of movieclip, a lot like you were doing it just for the MovieClip class generic.

  It can work the same way a little to add images.  Right-click on the image in the library and click Properties.  In the Panel that appears, go to the tab inside Actionscript and assign a class name.  Let's say you name UIImage.  To load it into the movieclip you just created you can use...

  What exactly are you trying to do? You try to set pictures to your contacts, showing the white figure?

  If you try to put photos of your contacts, showing the white figure in the people App, then I'm sorry to inform you that this can be done with the people App. This is because; the people App does not work like the other application to management of Contact where the contacts are stored in a local file on the computer. In People Soft, contacts are not saved to a local file. It is linked with the online account of that special person that you added to the App people.

  For example, if you add your Facebook account to the people App, all contacts that it will be shown in the people App, but they are not saved locally. It is just linked to your Facebook account. Thus, the image of a particular contact will change unless the account holder he spends his account.

• Problems loading images in the ADF, don't display correctly

  When I add images to my homepage or the login page, when running the first time in the sound browser not to go for the images (which gives the symbol of broken images) but next time if you logout and reboot, try again, loading of images.

  Not knowing what the problem is. Can someone help me with this. ?

  I found the solution. My images are inside METAINF/resources/images. But I changed it out and it worked.

  It is on Android by chance? If so, it makes sense. On Android, the assets of applicationDirectory is stored in the original format (zipped) .apk and file IO is abstract automatically for you so that you think that you access files on the file system, but that also do is extract the bytes of the first compressed content files.

  Same effect can be seen when you see the copy operations slower when copying a group of individual files one at a time of File.applicationDirectory instead of copying a file zip of applicationDirectory and expanding the zip in a different directory to the place. Mentioned in this discussion:

  File.copyTo (and copyToAsync) extremely slow on Android. for example 1/2 second by little XML file. Help?
