Loading tab is often incomplete

Hello team!

First of all, I must stress that I like in general Firefox as browser. However, there are a few problems quite annoying in my version of it, I hope it's the latter! (Version 41.0.2)

All of the following terms refers to open a new tab. I have 5 x 3 grid of my new menu tab filled my sites commonly used, but often only the first two lines are displayed (1 photo attached, although edited for security reasons, I hope that you can always understand me).

Another issue is that Web pages that I opened in new tabs (I love my tabs) are often left half loaded, raw HTML remains for me to see, while the current generation of the website remains incomplete until I refresh the page. I have no picture of it.

Finally, and maybe it's the fault of my mouse, clicking environment to open a link in a new tab (I love my tabs!) will open on two or three instances of the same tab.

The first two issues occur only on Firefox, I have not noticed them on other browsers, but the last is consistent throughout, so to make me believe that my hardware is to blame. In addition, I did not tried anything with my modules to date.

Thank you very much for taking the time to read this request, and I would once again say how amazing of a browser is Firefox. I've been here since version 3.

Thank you!
~ A.Q

Hi, see if anything here helps: you can change the number of tiles on the page new tab in zoom in or back (Ctrl and + key, or Ctrl and - key).

You can also keep the same zoom setting when a new tab is clicked: Type Subject: config in the address bar, press ENTER, accept the warning, scroll to browser.newtab.preload and double-click on it to change the 'value' of true to False.

It is also possible about: config to change the maximum number of tiles, scrolling to the browser.newtabpage.columns (or Rows), then right-click > modify to set a new number of 'value '. - Editor of Configuration of Firefox.

As an alternative, you might like to try the add-on new tab tools.

If your question is resolved by this or another answer, please take a minute to let us know. Thank you.

  • How to stop loading tabs

For a week now, I have been do to the tabs to load each time when I started FF they add which of them just recently been updated. (One) thank you for the installation of Forecastfox (fixed version) second) thank you for the installation of S3. Google Translator.

How to stop these loading pages, they are asking for money or gift which in my opinion, it is not right to do. If this isn't the case, I'll uninstaller both add and look for a different type of them.

Hi, yes I got that from the same developer - although an add-on different to yours.

It can probably be disabled in Subject: config, and while I can't give you specific instructions for your specific additions, it might point you in the right direction.

Type of topic: config in the address bar, press ENTER, accept the warning, scroll to the bottom for extensions. (name of your add-on), look for an entry that has something like .not_open_contribute_page after it, and then double-click it to change the "value" from False to True.

If you are not confident about making Subject: config changes, you might be better off looking for different add-ons. Alternatively, if you really like the Add-ons, you can make a donation!

I guess from what you wrote that you are not in private browsing mode and that you do not erase browsing history when you close Firefox as those who are the main causes for do not restore the previous session.

Try using ' Firefox/file > exit ' (Mac: ' Firefox > leave ";) Linux: "file > exit ') to close Firefox if you're doing that by clicking on the X close in the title bar.

Firefox creates a sessionstore.js file in the Firefox profile folder?

It is possible that there is a problem with the sessionstore.js and sessionstore.bak files in the Firefox profile folder.

Delete the sessionstore.js file possible sessionstore-# .js files with a number and sessionstore.bak in the Firefox profile folder.

Delete sessionstore.js will cause App Tabs and tab groups and opened and closed the tabs (back) to get lost, so you will need to create them again (take note or bookmarks).

  • New feature: Save and load tab sets

When firefox starts up it restore my tabs previously open, saved to the last exit. To extend facilities to restore tabs on startup, I would like the ability to save (and later) a tab by using, for example, file-> options in the menu name.
This Installation extension would give the possibility to connect several different sets of tabs, for example when I'm working on 2 or 3 different projects and want to combine several web pages each, or for example to open a set of tab of my favorite related web-sites.
Currently I remember sets of tabs by organizing Favorites in folders and file-> new_tab and open the contents of the folder one by one.

It is possible with the Session Manager extension:

  • How (really) to stop the tabs from loading at startup until the user clicks.

I googled. I have read so many answers and tried them all.

    Browser.sessionstore.Restore *.
    Browser.Tabs.Load *.

None of the related responses actually prevents firefox from loading tabs (home | homepage |) Home page) at startup.

Then please. As I was five, and in order to preserve for posterity, someone explain how to stop firefox from loading tabs of the homepage automatically at startup. I want to load them when I click on it, or if I close the tab, for not otherwise materially affect the time of start/loan.

I'm going to mark as resolved to close, but really, I guess I decided it is insoluble. The answer to "How to stop tabs on the home page of loading in the background" is really "why would you do that?

Mainly, I want to do because I use extra home pages and reminders "view" soon If I bookmark something that he is likely to be forgotten and lost, whereas if I at least see the tab every time I start firefox, I'll deal with it later. I'll have to change this behavior, though, I suppose.

    Browser.sessionstore*-

My understanding of these parameters after having read the other questions, it's that they don't affect the loading, which were finally open family home page and will be reopened on a new start tabs only if you have firefox set to operate in this way. (Which I did not - if I close a session with 9 tabs, they went and the next start will generate just my home page tabs).

john99, I appreciate your time and your help.

I noticed how my App tabs load all at once, as do regular tabs. This for me is bad, because my internet is so quick and sometimes can go even slower. Page loading progress bar should normally be displayed on tabs. I don't have it. With all active modules or in Safe Mode.

I've upgraded to Firefox 4 from a previous version. I got Tab Mix Plus installed before provided FF4 a tab loading progress bar itself.

After upgrading Firefox, I decided I didn't like the look of the new progress bar and it turns off in Tab Mix Plus. I disabled and deleted from Tab Mix Plus later, opting to use the utilities tab instead. Since I removed the Tab Mix Plus, tab load bars are missing.

I tried to reinstall Tab Mix Plus, which makes progress bars to reappear... until I removed the TMP it's (without disabling the progress bar in TMP this time).

Y at - it an option of chrome that I disabled because of Tab Mix Plus?

Firefox 4 does not include a loading tab progress bar. Mozilla testing one for Firefox 4 development but removed because of performance issues. You will need to use an add-on like Tab Mix Plus or status-4-Evar to get a progress bar.

If more than 1 solution exists, what criteria will you choose what solution to use.

Simply copy the file to Server DB in BINARY mode and TABLE OUTSIDE, then allows you to map the file into the database.
