Locate and load drivers for devices on the XP laptop.

I have an older laptop that wouldn't start, I ran the module to repair XP on the installation disc where I replaced the files by following the instructions in the repair folder to the system32 folder.  Then the computer started properly, but I have no internet connectivity.  It is said that he finds the wireless network but will not connect. I checked Device Manager and several devices have no pilot, including the ethernet Controller, the wireless network adapter seems to work correctly.

As it is a laptop plus I have not any driver disks.  I think that are on the hard drive somewhere, but do not know where.  Can anyone help to locate and explain how to load.   Thanks for any help.

The content of my site is misplaced and shrunken Apple desktop devices. The browser provides information on devices, but the content do not place nor scale properly. The reason for this problem would be failure to adjust the size of the browser in Muse? I conceive on a 23 inches HD Windows desktop base. My site is displayed as it should, except on Apple desktop devices.

This may depend on several things as if contents are pinned, scrolling is applied etc.

Try to resize the browser preview in the Muse for verification, site url will help you to study.

We do not have the software 10.8 HP for your printer posted on hp.com and yet, once that happens, you can just download and install. You don't need to do it though, in order to get your printer running on your new Mac.  Simply connect your printer, on the sur le meme same wireless network or via a USB cable, add in printing and fax and let the operating system find and install the software from the Apple software update.  You will be able to the printer and scanning will however be of Image Capture.

    Yes, I understand your point.

I'll assume you have XP Media Center Edition, which was the operating system that is provided with your PC.

The specifications of your system also specify that your PC comes with the video card ATI Radeon X300SE, correct?

Below should be XP video drivers you need for this card:

  • Satellite L300 - 17L: XP drivers for device controller and modem line

Please, read before you close this thread as repetitive... (there is no answer to this particular question in the nets before)

    Hello.

I recently bought Toshiba L300 - 17L without any operating system and (unfortunately) no unmanned. I installed the Windows XP (with Service Pack 3) and was able to find most of the necessary drivers (of http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com/innovation/download_drivers_bios.jsp).

Of course, I put the option fixes hard drive compatible windows installed and first mentioned in other threads... but there is always some problem with "modem on high definition audio device" and "line controller.

I was told that the modem drivers are found in the audio driver pack (btw its works ok), but do not know which is my model as with scanners of system (such as the Everest) I can't find the name of the modem.

The same with 'line controller', as I said here are the drivers for the motherboard... but once more - the system scanners failed to tell me the specific name of the motherboard (only general information is it Intel and chipsets names... but they are in many motherboards).

Thanks for any help, especially from people who had the same problems.

    Hello

I know, it's that your laptop supports its audio Realtek HD card.
I downloaded and installed the driver from the page of Realtek Realtek sound card and the sound card is ok.

I have to they that after installing XP on Vista laptops not all drivers are available for Win XP because some devices are only available using Vista.

I put t know what controller line means and to be honest never heard of this controller, but I think as you translated it not right.

Please check this doc from Toshiba:
    http://APS2.toshiba-tro.de/KB0/TSB83023N0000R01.htm

You will see that some drivers for some devices doesn't exist for Win XP

    Hello

For the 6to4 card number, which is separate from the issue of the CD/DVD.

Control Panel - Device Manager - do a right-click on the two - UNINSTALL - REBOOT

Nothing else to do, Windows will do the rest. And you can ignore errors if you wish and on some
computers, it will always be there but no problem to be expected.

On a Windows Vista-based computer or on a computer, Windows Server 2008, the card Microsoft ISATAP
appears with a yellow exclamation mark next to it in Device Manager, and you also receive an error message
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/932520

    ==============================================

Description of errors related to the 10 Code that generates the Device Manager in Windows on computers
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/943104/

Step 1: Please make all underneath the same if you've done it before as it's often the total of the process which
    solves the problem.

    Try this - Panel - Device Manager - CD/DVD - double-click on the device - driver tab - click
Update the drivers (this will probably do nothing) - then RIGHT click the drive - UNINSTALL - REBOOT
This will refresh the default driver stack. Even if the reader does not appear to continue below.

Then, work your way through these - don't forget the drive might be bad, could be a loose cable or
slight corrosion on the contacts (usually for a laptop) and other issues.

Another possibility is that the cables are loose. Remove ALL power, then make sure that the cables in both
ends. Remove and replace, do not just tight. For laptops, you can often clean power and
contacts data with a pencil eraser.

Some DVD players do not use the Windows default drivers so check with the manufacturer of system and
manufacturer of device to see if there is a firmware or drivers for your drive if necessary.

    ===============================

    If necessary:

Step 2: You have disc problems as the CD/DVD is actually 4 discs in 1 case (CD & DVD burning and)
Playback of CD and DVD). Therefore, it is not unusual for 1 or 2 rooms with not so work that others do it properly.

Did you follow the Troubleshooting Guide for the reader who still does not work? There are some registry entries
that the troubleshooter does not, and those who "could" be the cause.

Check with your system manufacturer Maker and device for possible firmware updates and the good
    Your player registry entries.

Here are the keys in my opinion, are those in question - for the reader of CD/DVD subkeys of course that he will be
other subkeys in these keys. Be sure to ask specific keys involved as well as the parameters.

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Enum\IDE

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Hardware Profiles\0001\System\CurrentControlSet\Enum\IDE

  • OfficeJet 6500 E710n-z: where to locate X 86 Drivers for Win 7 to print Via USB system connected to the network using Win 8.1

Since my computer can only connect to a printer wireless via USB, other computers on the network cannot connect to the printer.  The possibility of allowing other printers using the main system of sharing, I need the x 86 driver but cannot locate it on the HP support.

Seems there are a lot of problems installing with HP systems, I would hope that society can give a high priority to these issues.  Many of us love quality HP but wireless connectivity is frustrating.

In a humorous way, please remove the "cannot find the printer - make sure that the printer is plugged in and turned on."  statement.  Our children know how to set up a network, so that the statement is hilarious, until you see for the 20th time as possible motive to the wireless printer is not found on the network.

    Hello
My post seemed to have grown to a case manager who was willing to put up a time for the members of technical support to contact me.  By the way, she asked about the distance, the printer from the router, which, by other reviewers, should be placed next to the printer, and she asked for me to try to move the router to about 18 inches from the printer so that it would be responsible for coordinating the call of support following our conversation.

I did it and all network issues related to wireless access by the entire Office has been resolved and performing network and each station can print and scan in a few minutes, following a job application.  Printing took about 20 minutes to start and sweep was impossible until this Council been offered.

Do you need drivers for Windows XP?

If yes then maybe this little info could be useful for you.

After the installation of Windows XP, there might be a yellow exclamation by a "PCI memory controller" or "Mass storage controller" in Device Manager. This material will be supported only by Windows Vista.
There is therefore no Windows XP driver.

I agree on biometrics pilot: this could be a fingerprint reader.
