Locate the icon of camera and the taskbar on my toshiba L650-
I have used t is located at the edge of my monitor screen, but now I can't find it and worry not somehow it was deleted... I could I know who and how to recover?

One last thing to check.
Open the Registry Editor and navigate to the following location.
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer
In the right side window, click on the NoAutoTrayNotify value and select Edit. If there is a '1', replace it with "0".
Quit the registry editor and Log Off/Log.
Test.

Thunderbird icons appear on the desktop and the taskbar, but not will NOT open

Recently, I installed firefox on another computer and doing other things, I then noticed that the icon in the taskbar had changed and when I tried to put the shortcut on the desktop, the icon that is displayed is a file folder. I want just the icon of firefox back.
So far I've solved the problem by going into the properties on the icon in the task bar and the icon has changed, rebooted the computer and the icon in the taskbar has changed to what I wanted but the file on the desktop does not, but now I don't want that one, so deleted. Pavilion P6207c: Hp mediasmart empty icon in the taskbar and icon missing in hp dock
I restarted my computer and my HP Mediasmart icon in the taskbar is empty, when I click on it windows says it can't open because that its been moved, renamed or deleted. But the show task up if I right click on it like watch a dvd, listen to mp3's, see, modify or download photos, see modify or download videos. (all links in the task too much work) Then trying to understand the problem, that I thought I could basically icon/link to pull a bit of my HP Dock in the taskbar hoping it would be duplicate and appear in the taskbar. But to the contrary after leaving the dock and release the mouse button, it disappeared. How do I trouble the white icon and pick up the other icon in the dock? I pulled the HP Mediasmart icon directory .exe file and it is stuck in the dock, but it works the same. The original had an arrow below and if I clicked it, a drop-down list with all tasks would come down. With that I pulled from the directory that I have to click on it and then a new bar appears with different icons for each task.
Well I solved the problem with the taskbar, I downloaded the hp mediasmart smartmenu, went into the directory and PIN to the taskbar. But I still can't one of the docking station will work as before.

Hi and thanks again for the rear display. If you can do it is no longer a restoration following options is a complete recovery of the system, return to the original configuration. You want to back up all your information before you do. Once it starts it will wipe your system clean.

Update Vista 64 Bit SP 2 remove icons from the taskbar for the power and sound.
When I installed the update to Vista SP2, my power and Volume icons disappeared from the taskbar. When I went to set the display for the Menu Taskbar properties, the option to do so is grayed out. Go to the control panel to change the power options, it's annoying, but I can live with that because I do not often change. But having to go through the control panel to adjust the volume is a container of the slow cooker. How to view again?

The settings in the behavior list are as follows:
- Hide when inactive - point is hidden automatically when it has not recently been clicked or updated updated by its associated program.
- Always hide - Item is always hidden.
- Always show - point is still visible.
Hide when inactive is the default setting for all Notification area icons. This behavior can be disabled while clicking to clear Hide inactive icons in the taskbar properties.

Fixit Windows ate my desktop icons and the taskbar!

To start my computer upward as usual and takes me to open a session. I connect and my background appears, however my desktop icons, start menu and taskbar DO NOT appear. I can still access the Task Manager and command prompt, but when I try to use a command, absolutely nothing is happening, leaving this method of system recovery is not possible. What should I do?

Thanks for posting with us. I suggest try to start safe mode and see if it works correctly. If Yes, then you can start using the "last known good configuration." If in Safe Mode, you have the same problem, you should run chkdsk /r and sfc/scannow. Here are the instructions for these suggestions. If one of the system icons is out, you can reactivate the as follows:
Right-click on the taskbar and select Properties. This will bring up the tab "properties of menu taskbar and start. It's where you mentioned, it is gray. It is very well... From there, you can click on Customize button in the icon section. Look for the icon that you are missing, and check the status. The type of report should read "Hide icon and notifications", change that to "Show icon and notifications".
If this does not resolve the issue most likely you have a problem with group policy on your machine. This can be corrected by following the instructions on the following link:
