  • Help with turning on Mobile network blackBerry Smartphones

My blackberry curve does not connect to a wireless network.  I tried to check the box Mobile network in respect of the management of connections and do not access.  I turned the phone off and then turned it back... nothing.  I have disabled all connections and then turn it back on and still nothing.  When I try to call from the phone, I enter the phone number, press the button send green and nothing happens.  I try to compose my contacts and nothing happens.  I tried calling my phone and it goes straight to voicemail.  I am home, which, for the last 6 months, the signal was strong.  I'm at my wits end.  Help!

I jumped the battery and put it again and everything was fine.  In the 6 months that I have owned a Blackberry, it's never got stuck like that.  I hope that it is an instance of time.

  • Location of voicemail Smartphones BB Bold blackBerry on list Dáil speed

With my old curve, I was able to move the speed dial of voice mail to another location. On the "BOLD", it seems that it is locked the letter w. When I highlight the speed for voicemail dial it does not give the ability to move, edit, or delete. Any suggestions on this. I have AT & T.

    Thank you.

In the blackberry "BOLD", you have 3 letters locked and they cannot be changed.

    To lock the device

    Q to vibrate only

    W to voicemail

  • BlackBerry smartphone Wi - Fi working if data Services (Mobile network) is DISABLED

Today, I had some problems with the Wi - Fi...

The problem is that Sub Manage Conections > MOBILE NETWORK settings there is an option that says: 'Data Services '... Because it is under the settings of MOBILE NETWORK that is linked to my network operator, and I have no data Plan I guessed I could turn that OFF...

So then a few minutes later I tried to use what is Soft, and there is no link... so I tried using the browser also without lucky.

Then after you are looking for something that could solve my problem without finding something useful, I decided to work on it by myself, so I rebooted the BB, my router home, cheking to diagnose the connection under Internet options, but nothing seemed to work until I decided to turn the setting on Data Services, I was talking about before... and now he started working...

I don't know if it's a real problem or something else... but I think an option under Mobile network should be without interfering with the Wi - Fi, not simply no logic at all...

Under "Mobile network" you would think he would not influence him, but he does.  In order to use wifi, you must have enabled Data Services.  He was always so...

  • BlackBerry Smartphones, wifi and mobile network Q

If I turn on my wifi at home & sign in, & at the same time, let Mobile network on... fresh data which of them will be run out of?  The Mobile network will win or share or just use wifi?

Also I was wondering because I wonder if light work wifi when I'm at work, save my data & pass their lol

    TIA!

    Hello

In general, BBs "prefer" WiFi network of business for services BIS data. You can always check inside the connection management > State of Services, which BIS route is average.

But you should also check inside the apps... many 3rd party applications have configuration items, inside the application, allowing you to order the application to use a data compared to another channel. What I always do is run my apps use BIS... in this way, they will follow along as BIS shifts between WiFi and my network of business data. But, if (for example) you configure an application to use only your corporate data network, while the app can avoid past well after BIS BIS to WiFi, and this app may well continue to consume data out of your network connection data carrier, even if BIS moved to WiFi.

With older OS levels, you had no choice, but to leave the "Data Services" set on "on" any channel to use, which often caused the situation described above (BIS on WiFi, but some consumption of carrier data app)... disabling the Services of data, these levels of older OS, BIS-level data for all channels off including WiFi. With the later levels of the operating system (somewhere in the OS7 range, I remember well), you can actually turn off the parameter Data Services and wireless leash... that allows BIS to still work on WiFi, but prevents any application using the data carrier network regardless of how the application is configured.

But... I'm curious... you may have about the features that only work on SmartPhones BB, yet your profile on this site says you have only a PlayBook, in which case none of this applies since the PB has no radio has WiFi and mobile only. But, you posted this in the "BOLD" of this site section, so you could guess assumes that you have a "BOLD" in addition to your PB...

    Good luck!

  • BlackBerry smartphones can not connect to the Mobile network

Hi there, I really hope that someone can help me with this frustrating problem. I have a Verizon Blackberry Curve 8530 I bought on eBay. I have not had any problems to get the phone activated and it worked like a champ. A few days earlier, the battery got very low and my connections disabled. I charged the phone and now it won't let me connect to the mobile network! When I select the option it tries to connect and a red 'X' appears and it does not connect. However, it WILL connect to WiFi. WTF.

    Hello!

    I suggest the following:

    (1) dial * 228 and select Option 1. To make again, and select Option 2.

    (2) registry HRT

    • Homescreen > Options > Advanced Options > host Routing Table > (it matter little what line is current) > sign up now

    (3) Service reference books

    • KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service

    (4) batt Pull Reboot

    • Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

I hope that will move things again for you! If this isn't the case, then you must contact VZW for assistance.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones how do the mobile network in the program?

I searched the Forum but do not have the answer.

Currently, I have 2 mobile for my blackberry 8700 networks say they are A and b.

Has EDGE and GPRS has B.

When I reboot BB, most of the time he will select B automatically maybe for some reason any.

It is tedious to manually switch to the A.

Is there a way to automatically detect the mobile network if there are A and B then choose?

Or just simplely choose one no matter if there are B availible?

I look in the java doc, but it seems there's only Radio and RadioInfo classes related to this issue and none of them can handle this.

    Thank you.

There is no BlackBerry API that would allow you to do this.  I'm moving this to the general BlackBerry Pocket forum for other suggestions of configuration possible.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones BB Curve 8900-no wifi or mobile network

I've updated the OS on my blackberry and now I can not wifi or mobile network to work!

    Ouch!

You have turned on mobile network? What do you see in the top right of the home screen to the signal indicator?

Sometimes do a reboot on the BlackBerry simple thus reconnects to the network: with smart BlackBerry poweredphone, remove the battery for a minute and then reinsert the battery to restart.

  • BlackBerry smartphones after update to the 6.461 on Bold 9700 OS, mobile network = * no *.

    Hi all

I'm new with this stuff and just upgraded my A$ T Bold 9700 OS 6 version 461 via the official release of BB using the such$ s .exe.

The upgrade went very well with no problems but now no mobile network is found. It shows the following in the section mobile network:

    Data services = we

    Roaming = we

    Mobile network = * no *.

    Network mode = 3G & 2 G

I've updated the operating system via Loader.exe

I tried a battery pull, but it does not solve the issue. Before the upgrade, I deleted the vendor file.

    Help, please

If you go to the screen of your icon manage connections, your Mobile network is checked to be on?

  • Network connections of Mobile My blackBerry Smartphones keeps cutting

When I go to compose a message to test he told me s radio. I go to the application of connection management and he said that the Mobile network is turned off. I can activate backl but there is not. How can I fix?

Ahhh... it's very important. Low breakage (1xev) means that your BB sees the network, but is not connected. Only when you have all uppercase (1XEV) you have full connectivity to your corporate network. If you are in the Association? If so, try this:

    Dial * 228, select Option 1

Dial * 228 again once, select Option 2

If you are not on VZW, then pass it because I do not know the codes to any other carrier for this.

Reboot your BB exactly in this way:

With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes.

If you do not yet have all uppercase 1XEV, try this:

Homescreen > Options > Advanced Options > host Routing Table > (no matter what line is highlighted) BBKey > sign up now

Once you receive the registration message, recheck the 1XEV. If not yet all capital letters, call your operator that something is not right on their end.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Wi-Fi\Mobile network when browsing the web

    Hi all

When I'm on the web on my torch to use my mobile network connection or wifi if there is a configuration of WiFi and available?

May seem obvious, but I can't say what connection it uses.

    Thank you

When the two networks are connected the camera automatically chooses to use wi fi network.

    I hope this helps.

  • For the blackBerry Smartphones Reset network settings

    Hello

I was wondering if anyone can tell me how to reset the network settings on a Blackberry Curve 8520, I can find on how to do a complete reset but not a network reset. Your would be much appreciated.

    Thank you very much

    RocknRollTim

N.. completely different. For your mobile network, with a strong network carrier (for example, not only WiFi), I suggest the following steps, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message from your BB... Please wait just before moving on to the next step):

    1) register HRT

    • KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with wireless network
    • Please wait a 'registration' message reach your Messages application

    2) Remove and return Service books

    • KB05000 Remove the maintenance book for the BlackBerry Internet Service email account in the BlackBerry smartphone
    • If you do not have access CMIME, continue deleting
    • KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service
    • Please wait "the Activation' Messages, one per already configured e-mail account, arrive in your Messages. If you have not already configured email accounts, please wait 1 hour.

    3) restart

    • With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes.
    • See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

I hope that will move things again for you! If not, then you should try remove and re-add your configurations for the relevant accounts. Otherwise, you should contact your mobile provider for formal support.

For the wireless, there is no sort directly 'reset' nothing beyond removing and reconfiguring of the WiFi network configurations. Beyond that, things as device WIPE, reloading the OS, and other very drastic measures would be required. And, important to note, I have no way of knowing if this is really necessary... you did not no matter what description of what happens, so it is not possible to understand your situation and you give more targeted recommendations.

    Good luck!

  • Update blackBerry software 10 over the mobile network data connection

I have a notification of today on software update software version 10.3.1.1565 is available. But the update is suspended with a note: 'you are connected to the mobile network. This software update is too large to be downloaded via the network. Use a Wi - Fi network. ' Really? I have 30 GB data plan and I don't want to connect to any Wi - Fi and I don't want to connect to any PC, I want to use my mobile data plan to download this update. Is it possible to do? Thank you!

I don't think that you can set on the device. If you go to

Settings > software updates > Options

    You see the following:

"Depending on your service provider, downloads will be in a Wi - Fi or a mobile network".

So it's not in your hands of Blackberry, but with your carrier.
