Location of a copied image.

Hello

When I opened photo or image by by clicking on it, the screen turns blueand I have the opportunity through the application to copy image.

My question is: where is the Photo when I ask this copy?

I thank you for your answer.

Best regards,

François MERCHANT

Hi Archandilo,

I don't know what application you're using, but generally when you copy an image (or text) as you describe, it is copied to the system "Clipboard." No file is saved when you copy - just go to the application where you want to use the image, then choose file > paste.

You'll want to stick before copying something else, or that the image will be replaced with the item that you copied everything recently in the Clipboard.

Best,

Sara

  • Original location in a corrected image (using calibration data)

    Hello

I use the tool of vision to correct the distortion in images.
I do not use the model grid point let the software generate the calibration sheet, but rather use a set of points (which I can define precisely in the distorted image) and provide their respective coordinates 'real world '. I can then apply this correction to other images.
    So far so good.
Now I want to superimpose two sets of images, which are distorted differently (for example, they represent the same object, but were photographed in slightly different conditions). I have
good adjustable using the method above and the other separately, with its own separate correction, but I'm stuck there.
Each calibration/correction is characterized by a scale factor and a coordinate of origin. I need both to be able to superimpose the two sets of images.
I chose non-linear calibrations that preserves the area and I thought of a way to recover the scale factor by calculating the areas of all patterns square in my series of (as calculated in the original image) calibration points, taking the average, then the square root of the area average: This gives the spacing between the points equidistant in the corrected image.
However, I can't figure out how to get the original location in the corrected image. One of my points of calibration is associated with the position (0, 0) in the real world. However, it is neither its position (in pixel unit) in the original image or the corrected image. I need the latter. How can I get it simply (I can think of sophisticated ways to get it, but I suspect that it might be a trivial).

Thanks in advance for your answer.
    Sincerely,
    X.

    Hello

I guess you are referring to "Convert to/from the real world" screws. As far as I understand well as do these screws, they refer only to two "spaces". One is the distorted image of origin (with coordinates in pixels) and the other is the ideal 'real world' space, where this image was generated, with coordinates expressed in all the units you choose. I am concerned about a 'third space', the corrected image generated by the Vi "IMAQ Image of calibrated" correct, and I want to know the point, which, in the real world, has the coordinates (0, 0), where in this picture (if possible with coordinates in fractional pixels, coordinated whole pixels not only).

I haven't posted my response to Nate, but basically we agreed that what I wanted was not available yet. I have work to do to get this information (as I suspected). It's a shame, because the Vi above obviously knows how to calculate what I'm looking for, because it maps the pixel (or fractional pixel coordinates) where the origin is located in the real world, on an another coordinate (fractional) pixel in the corrected image.

This may be available in a future release, but for now, some work is needed here...

    X.

  • Location of the copy in Photos

Is it possible to copy the location from one photo to another in Photos as we could in iPhoto?

My iPhone picks up the location but my Sony camera does not work.  In the past, with iPhoto, I could copy the location of a photo with the location of a photograph (taken in the same place) who did not have the location information.  I thought the Photos were supposed to be updated to allow to add/copy the location.

Using OS X El Capitan version 10.11.5 on an iMac

Thanks for any help you can offer.

    Hi debby0514,

If when you import photos from your camera Sony to the Photos app and the location data is not displayed or incorrect, the best way to solve this problem would be to manually add the location for the pictures once it's in the Photos app. You can do so by following the steps below.

    1. Select a badly located photo.
    2. choose Image > location > location to remove the menu bar.
    3. press on command-I to display the info of the image.
    4. at the bottom of the information window, click on location.
    5. start to type an address, city, company, or other name of the location. When you type, AutoComplete suggestions will appear. Select the location you want to assign to the image.
    6. repeat these steps for any image which has an incorrect location.

Difficulty of the incorrect locations in Photos

You can do this with several photos at the same time. Press on and hold down the SHIFT key, and then select the first photo you want to apply changes to. From there, click the last picture you want to assign to the same place for. Release the SHIFT key and then right-click on one of the images highlighted. Select "Get Info" and follow the steps above to enter the site. This will apply to this location for each image that you highlighted.

This should get the desired location on your photos without delay. Thank you for using communities of Apple Support.

    Have a great day.

  • How to copy image above - FrameMaker 10

My apologies if I do not use the correct terminology. I use InDesign, but I need to tweak a FrameMaker file that was created in 2003 on a Mac. I'm editing on a PC because it is the only version available now (FrameMaker 10).

I was able to figure out how to make all the necessary changes except one. There is a 'graphic' which is used as a header section that I need to replace it with a "graph" in another chapter. I he calls a 'graphic' because there are clip more than the text that is displayed as a unit. When I select the paragraph above and below this "graphic," copy and paste into a new chapter, the 'graphic' don't stick. If I select the paragraph below in the PARAGRAPH DESIGNER with the ADVANCED button selected, the FRAME above TFP button displays a named selection of after the 'chart'. If I change the selection in the FRAME over FMP button "chart" disappears, so I know that "graph" is related to this paragraph. The FRAMEWORK above PGF description that I need to use is not available in the chapter that I'm editing, so I can't change just that selection.

What I cannot understand is how to copy it 'graphic' another chapter and paste it in this chapter. The 'graphic' don't are located in a folder job so it must be anchored in the FrameMaker file instead to be linked. I am unable to understand how to find and place it in the chapter that I am editing. I hope that my question is understandable because I don't really know well FrameMaker. Thank you!

    Sharon

The graphic used in the frame above/below a paragraph is on the pages of reference. If it is not displayed in the chapter that you paste in, you must either add this "frame of reference" to the reference page for this file (see: Adobe FrameMaker 10 * frames of reference of use on the pages of reference) or import only the pages of the file reference where in the file he needs also.

To import the contents of the referring page, place the focus in the file he needs and also have the file containing the reference opens image (s). Then file > import > formats. Select the file to point to the file that has the required reference image. Deselect everything except for the Pages of reference and then import.

  • Map screen: assign the same GPS location to a 'rare' image group

Let's a have a buch of photos that were taken in the same place at different times. The images are scattered throughout the fimstrip and might even belong to different collections in the same catalog (or even different catalogs?). What is the best way to assign the same GPS coordinates to all these photos using the map screen?

Of course, the direct way to do is to carefully select all of these photos in the Filmstrip, and then click the desired location on the map. It is problematic for reasons more than one. First of all, it is difficult to scroll the whole band and choose the photos one by one. Second, if I acccidentally miss one or two photos, I have to start all over again.

The best way would be a sort of copy / paste appproach: copy the desired location in the Clipboard (another image or directly from the map) and then paste it on the desired images one by one or, better, on groups of images. A feature that, at first seems promising in this respect is the field of text input on the right that contains the GPS coordinates in the form of text. It is editable, which means that I can copy the coordinates (as text) of an image and paste it in the same field from another image. However, this unfortunately does not guarantee that images will end up with identical locations: the image that received the new coordinates could (and will be) end up with a slightly different location in terms of the image of the "donor". This means that the coordinates are stored internally with a precision greater than their representation in the text entry field.

So, what are the other options?

In the grid, select the "donor" photo, and then ctrl-click to select the photos of 'recipient '. Then synchronize the metadata, including the GPS location and any other fields that you want to synchronize. It's the equivalent of copy and multiple - Lightroom paste.

This works only in a single catalog. It will not work in several catalogs (which of course is one of the many reasons why many people use a single catalog for all of their photos)

Win XP Pro update.  I downloaded pictures to my pictures of LG phone.  I've done it before without incident.  But, this time, after having successfully downloaded photos, virtually all clicks on a given peak spontaneous copy of all the images in my images.  If I tried to remove an image, copies have been made; If I tried to move an image, copies were made.    At last count, there were about 50 copies of the pictures.  Finally, I manually moved the original to a new folder and then deleted the contents of my images.  However, when I tried to delete the folder my pictures, this deletion was rejected with the explanation that a program or someone else was using this folder.  The folder was empty.  I ran antivirus and antimalware analysis; no problems found.  Because of the involuntary copy?  My photos corrupted?  Difficulty?  Thank you.

  • Cannot copy images from any type of disc. ??

Cannot copy pictures on any type of disc. the computer behaves as if she is unable to format the drive? I thought that this was done automatically.

    Hello

    ·        What is the exact error that you are experiencing when you try to burn the disk?

    ·        Outside photos, you are able to burn other files on the disk?

    ·        You use any burning software to burn the photos to disk?

Note: Using third-party software, including hardware drivers can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the use of third-party software can be solved. Software using third party is at your own risk.

I suggest to format the drive and check if you are able to burn discs or not. Follow the steps mentioned below.

    a. be aware that Windows XP, in its native form, does not directly support CD formatting. Formatting a CD requires support for the ISO images that is missing from Windows XP.

    b. download or buy CD and formatting of third-party burning software. Third-party CD utilities include features like CD burning, imaging of CD and the CD put fit.

    c. install the third-party software, following specific instructions in accordance with the software documentation. Many programs will require you to restart Windows to complete the installation. Close all other applications and do it.

    d. place the disk you want to format in the drawer. Make sure that it is in the drawer of CD - R or CD - R/W and not another tray (tray of DVD) or a simple CD player.

    e. start the third-party application and follow the instructions on the screen as they appear. Choose the "Format CD" option on the file menu, or choose 'Create a new CD.' This application controls tend to vary an application to, so be sure to check the documentation.

    f. don't forget to leave the CD in the taskbar until the process is completely finished. If you remove the CD before the completion of the formatting, you will ruin the disc.

    g. give a volume name to your new CD.

I also suggest you to check the article mentioned below.

Should which CD or DVD format I use?

Plug your USB > start > computer > click the flash drive > open folder images > drag and dropn photos images in the flash player.
