Location of e-mail messages Priemium House

I'm trying to fix a computer that has received a virus and I can't recover from it without a reinstall.  I already supported all my important documents, but when I tried to save my messages from windows mail it does not save them.  I was looking to see if I could manually back up e-mail folders / directories until I restarted the re - install.  Someone at - it where the location of these files are?  In addition, no one knows if it will work or if there is a problem with the identities?  I've done it before with XP and earlier versions, but not with Vista.  Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you

Ther should be in the folder (usually hidden) %LocalAppData%\Microsoft\Windows Mail.  See thisL http://www.oehelp.com/backup.aspx Brian Tillman [MVP-Outlook]

  • Where are stored e-mail messages Toshiba Windows 7?

I have a Toshiba L650 with Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit and Windows Live Mail.

Please can someone tell me the FULL DIRECTORY PATH where e-mail messages are stored. It will be of no use telling me 'click on this menu, and then click Properties' etc because I have NO ACCESS at all at all the menus, not to mention access to the operating system.

  • When I try to send an e-mail message in Outlook Express 6, it gets stuck in the Outbox and is not sending.

Help!  When I send a message it is said there is a mistake, but there is no error and he actually sent the message.  It gets stuck in my Outbox and if I don't delete it will continue to send over and over again!  What can I do?

original title: OUTLOOK EXPRESS 6 - problem

You have apparent dbx file corruption.

Spend most of your messages out of the Inbox and then create new folders to send and sent items box after having moved the messages you want to save to a local folder that you create.

Tools | Options | Maintenance | Store folder will reveal the location of your Outlook Express files. Note the location and navigate on it in Explorer Windows or, copy and paste in start | Run.

In Windows XP, Win2K & Win2K3 the OE user files (DBX and WAB) are by default marked as hidden. To view these files in Windows Explorer, you must enable Show hidden files and folders under start | Control Panel | Folder Options icon | Opinion, or in Windows Explorer. Tools | Folder options | View.

With OE closed, find the DBX files for the items in the Outbox and sent and delete them.  New ones will be created automatically when you open OE.

After you're done, followed by compacting your folders manually while working * off * and do it often.

Click Outlook Express at the top of the the folder tree so no folders are open. Then: File | Work offline (or double-click on work online in the status bar). File | Folder | Compact all folders. Don't touch anything until the compacting is completed.

    General precautions for Outlook Express:

Do not archive mail in the receipt or sent items box. Create your own user-defined folders and move messages you want to put in them. Empty the deleted items folder daily. Although the dbx files have a theoretical capacity of 2 GB, I recommend all a 300 MB max for less risk of corruption.

Disable analysis in your e-mail anti-virus program. • Add the menu item to app mail as the mail message?

    Hello

I know how to add menu items in the mail application, but can I add one, according to the mail message? I want to send a single something in an email and after that one of my applications.

Is it possible to do? Perhaps a listener?

    Thank you

    Matthias

    Hello Matthias.

Well, if I understand your message, it's that - you send mail with unique label or message (something unique added with the text of the message) and you want to add the menu item when a user opens the message.

According to my understanding - I have a solution.

We have a listener "VeiwExtendedListener", that provide notifications for new, open, close, reply, and forward.

You can implement this listener and to open(), you get the instance of the message object, which is open.  With this object message get the content of the message, locate the tag unique in the text of the message, if it is in the message, and then add your menu item.

    I hope this will help

    Good luck

  • I couldn't open an attachment in an e-mail message.

    Original title: attachment.

I couldn't open an attachment in an e-mail message.  Asked me if I wanted to save.  He saved the attachment in a folder window, but I can't open it again.  How can I open the attachment?

    Hi MMLER,

    1. which e-mail account do you use?

    2. do you have a code error message when you try to open the attachment?

    3. What is the file format and the size of the attachment?

    4. what web browser you use to access the e-mail account?

If you use Internet Explorer to access the e-mail account, and then follow the steps below:

    Method 1:

I ask you to change the download location and check if the problem persists.

You can try the following steps to change the Internet Explorer default 'save' the download location.

    a. open Internet Explorer

    b. click on the gear icon in the upper right corner, and then click view downloads.

NOTE: You can also press CTRL + J instead.

    c. click on the Options link.

    d. click on the Browse button.

    e. find and select the folder you want to use as the default download location, then click on the selection to a folder of Internet Explorer button.

    f. click OK.

    g click Close.

    Method 2:

Temporarily disable any third-party security program and check if it helps.

Note: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you need to disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network, while your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.

I hope this helps. If you have any other queries/issues related to Windows, write us and we will be happy to help you further.

What you want to do? Given the nature of your question, it seems that you probably don't know what a session variable is used. The PHP manual describes the purpose of sessions here: http://docs.php.net/manual/en/intro.session.php.

I need to change all the form variables in $msg in session variables. The $to part is supported. What remains are the $subject and $msg fields.

    $à = « à : ». $_SESSION ["toemail"];

Why do you need to change the form variables in session variables? They are already stored in session variables, or they come directly from the form?

The $to part is not supported. When you pass $to to the mail() function, it should contain only an e-mail address, not a string that begins with "to:
