  Does anyone know if PlayBook must support any additional screen / user interface languages to launch? The Simulator is only in English, but I plan for my application support at least 5 languages and I was wondering if the real PlayBook must support more than English releasing. I don't want to add a custom code for this (i.e., no menu language Options in my application), but I have 5 .xml files so that it automatically chooses the right one based on the locale OS user chosen, just like Android did. Any thoughts? Thank you!

  I don't think that anyone here who is non - RIM would know the real answer to that.  The PB will allow more than one locale since is a native of Flex/AIR, but it will be in the version of product next month?  Find out then.  Your application can simply query the current locale.  You probably don't need to have your own preference for it (but you can of course).

• Is it possible to have a common accessible file location for the main application in the sandbox and its extension app plugin

  I'm trying to launch an app on the app store for mac. The bundle of the main application and everything inside it is on sandbox.

  The main application Bundle identifier is com.xxx.core.app . The identifier for the internal Plugin Finder Extension application Bundle is com.xxx.core.app.extensions .

  Now the problem is the extension inner finder is also available in sand and trying to read a file written by the main application.

  The main application writes the file location depending on mac OS X, for example temp/var/folder/jv11743453495593/T/com.xxx.core.app

  But the internal Plugins try to read/var/folder/jv11743453495593/T/com.xxx.core.app/extensions

  Because of the different bundle identifiers, they have different containers.

  Can someone let me know how to limit the same application and its plugins to the same folder location. Does perform a work around for this problem.

  See the Sandbox Apple Guide under the ApplicationDirectory group container

  You must create a group that your container can access. I'm not 100% certain that this will work with extensions of Finder, but it seems the most logical place to start.

• How can I get App Tabs to open on the location of the bookmark rather than the last visited one?

  For example, I have YouTube as an App tab. Everytime I open firefox the last think I watched on YouTube starts to play again. I would really like to put so the App tabs open on any page I put initially for.

  Just make sure that you open any new links in a new tab and not in the App tab.
  
  There are related extensions tab that can protect or lock tabs to prevent them from changing, but open a link in a new tab with middle or Ctrl - left click click isn't extra effort very much.

  I use Jdeveloper 12.1.3 with PSM 2.1 to build an application that uses Oracle A-team persistence accelerator to implement offline functionality.

  I'm exploring the database of lite sql that is generated once the data is stored inside.

  I used the Android DDMS tool to explore the file system. Under/data/data / < app_package > / / files, I found a .db file < AppName >. I guess it comes to the sqlite database that is used.

  However, I can not open a browser of SQLite.

  I assumed it is because it is encrypted by the MAF.

  There are two issues here:

  1 - is the actual location where the sqlite database is stored? If this isn't the case, could you please provide me with the location?

  2. is it possible to explore the contents of the database in development mode? So, lets say, turn off encryption for her, while developing?

  2. Yes, this is caused by encryption, and you can disable the encryption by adding the following line to mobile-persistence - config.properties:
