Location of the Download Manager application

Hello: I downloaded the Application Manager in the hope that the trial of PhotoShop CS6 download.

The problem is, I can't dictate the location of download, only the installation location. It is default to 'c '. Drive. My 'C' drive has no space for the download. I have a lot of space on my"D" drive which is if I want to download.

In addition to all this, I have found no way to uninstall the Application Manager.

Adobe, please fix this. In addition, it should be an option to uninstall. If I can't use the Application Manager, I do not want installed it on my computer.

Thank you.

The application manager uses the temporary folder of your system. Refer to the section that how to change (the part on the SSD):

  • How re - enable the display of the history of uploading files in the Download Manager window?

    System: Windows XP

I am trying to reactivate the display, or to remember the list of downloaded files in the Download Manager window. I want to be able to drag and drop directly from this window into a folder of my choice. (I used to be able to do this, but apparently I missed that...)

I tried the suggestions that could easily be found, including Firefox to remember the whole story in the privacy of the upgrade Options tab in.

I have also deleted the mimeTypes.rdf file to 'reset' the values default to the browser, but in vain.

    Any ideas/help?

    Thank you.

    Well, it's fixed.

The problem seems to be a plugin obsolete, probably the previous version of the Adobe Reader software.

    Tools > Add-ons, Plug-ins page.

    All is well now.

    Thanks to all who helped.

  • How to reset the Download Manager?

Recently, I downloaded the demo of Acrobat Pro XL. Shortly after I bought the software. Now I want to download first 13 and elements of the trial. my download manager is 'stuck' extraction Acrobat Pro XL, which is already installed. I've uninstalled and reinstalled ADA without success. Afraid that I forgot, or elements or the first 13 download. Advice?

Skip the Download Manager and download directly.   Don't forget to follow the steps described in the Note: very important Instructions in the section on the pages of this site download and have cookies turned on in your browser, otherwise the download will not work correctly.

  • All .exe files go to the Download Manager and ask if you want to run or save

Suddenly my pc win 7 cannot run .exe files.  When it starts, I get several windows asking me if I want to run or save each of the boot files.  When I click on an icon for an application, I get the same thing.  If I click on for example a Word document file, Word opens very well, but I can't not all .exe files to run directly.  Even if I go to the Task Manager and click on "new task" and try and invoke Notepad - for example "do you want to run or save.  Even if I go to the control panel and ask search and solve problems - "do you want to run or save rundll32.exe"... Ditto for chkdsk and even for antivirus scanners or malicious software.  All the solutions I can find here seem to imply somehow running a .exe program to diagnose / fix and that's exactly what I can't do.  If you click on "run" in the download dialog there is an attempt to open a window, and then you're right to "do you want to run or save" the same .exe program.  Programs that save files still work all their saved files, it seems a simpler problem rather than a massive corruption.  Yet Labour Office associations, such as the 'open with' for example image files.  Any ideas before you give up and reinstall Windows?  Thank you very much!

Any ideas before you give up and reinstall Windows?

-> A a more effective and less painful method would go like this:

    1. keep tapping F8 during the first phase of startup.
    2. select Repair from the menu.
    3. Select an administrator account, and then enter its password.
    4. When you are prompted, select System Restore.
    5. set Windows to a point before this problem occurred.

  • Total failure of the download of applications of CC (white screen)

After receiving an email confirmation of my order of Creative Cloud part Adobe, I followed the directions for the procedure of telechargeement of applications.

On the Download Center page, I clicked on the button "Download" next to the chosen application... But then, nothing else has displayed an all white screen. I made a new test, repeating the procedure from the start, but this led me to a blank page.

In short, I can't all download creative Cloud applications.

Thanking you in advance pour your help.

If your cc app has a white screen,

    1. exit the application (from the taskbar) and then restart.  If this does not work:

2 remove the file OPM.db and reconnection in the desktop application of creative cloud using the Adobe ID associated with your subscription.

Mac OS: You can locate the file OPM.db in the \User\\Library\Application Support\Adobe\OOBE folder. To access the hidden user library folder, see library user access hidden files. Mac OS 10.7 Lion.

Windows: You can locate the file OPM.db in the \Users\\AppData\Local\Adobe\OOBE folder.  To show the hidden AppData folder, see view files, folders, file name extensions. Windows XP, Vista, Windows 7.

If your browser displays a blank page, try using another browser.

  • We can stop a Download Manager Application?

So far, the Application Manager installed Photoshop and is 25% for InDesign, which is par for the course for the rural New Zealand after five hours of downloading.  Meanwhile, I have bugger all access to the internet to find information.  It was a doomed to total failure to actually seek the answer to this question for example.  So anyone know if I can break the Application Manager without losing a part of download, or limit its bandwidth allocation?  I had a round hunting in his preferences and found nothing useful.  As for the use of online help...    This will not happen with the severely limited the Application of the bandwidth manager left me.

    Hi Trevor.Dennis,

No, you can not to pause the download of a creative cloud application.

You can cancel only after that, he must start over again.

  • Can't see CS6 apps in the Download Manager

Hi, I had a search through the forum and I do not think that it has already responded.

I have a new macbook and want to install CS6 applications (specifically, Flash and AE), but after installing and running the application installer CC, only the CC apps are available to download.

I tried to download CS6 applications on the website of creative cloud, but direct links just download and reinstall the CC setup application.

    I'm on mac OS 10.8.2 64bits.

Any help with this would be appreciated.

    Thank you!

OK, it turns out that Safari was the origin of the problem. It worked in Firefox.

  • I've updated the adobe management application and it said that I had updates available from the CS6 in the CC, but then after downloading, it says that I have to pay for the CC updates? Why is this?

I just "updated" Lightroom of CS6 for CC, but now it is said this is ONLY a 30 day trial. Will my CS6 comeback after only 30 days or? I'm so confused by the present. Also, CS6 is continuing to update or it won't forget now that CC is supposed to be better than her?

If you do not want to go with a subscription (CC) then your best bet is to get away from him now and get your purchased version (6) works again for you.  It's my own conclusion, but I think targeted confusion is part of the way unwanted products end up on your machine.  I uninstalled the new application manager as soon as he updated a day with a CC tag on this subject.
