Lock activation disabled

Hello. My iphone is stolen and I try to locate it using find my iphone. For a few days, it appears offline. Yesterday, I got a message saying the phone is found but the link given can't pinpoint the exact location of the phone. Now, the device is no longer appear on the apps. And I check the locking of the activation, it is turned off and can be used by the new owner.

If the locking of the activation was actually kidnapped, the holder of your phone has your Apple ID and password.

Or the proof of purchase and submitted to Apple.

How can I disable the Activation Lock on my 4S

Lock activation applies only on iOS 7 or later version (your tagline said 6.1.3).  If you have a later version of the software installed, simply turn off find my iPhone using your password Apple ID.

If you have forgotten your password, you will need to reset it.

Alternatively, you can remove the lock of the activation by unplugging the phone in your iCloud account.  Connect to iCloud by using a computer, then use my iPhone app - find it and then remove the phone from your account.

  • How to activate locking activation on my lost phone?

    Hello world

I used an iPhone 6 Plus and recently I stole it from Singapore. The thing is I never used before access code and after that I realized that I got pick-pocketed, I immediately connect to 'Find my iPhone' on my other device to activate the 'lost' with access code. However, when I checked the State of activation of the phone lock on my PC, it is off... So my question is: is it possible to activate locking activation after I lost my phone? & is there anyway I can find my phone while it is not connected to the internet & have deleted SIM card? And finally and especially, how this report to operator notified apple so if the stolen phone is brought to any apple store or authorized dealer and authorized service provider or connect to iTunes, I would get to this topic?

Would be very grateful if anyone can help.

    With respect,

    D. ka

  • Don't buy used iPhone 4s, prechecked IMEI whicated it was NOT stolen, however I had no idea of locking Activation. I did buy and install the new sim card, but I'm locked out. New Sim Card would make a difference? Original owner cannot know

The installation of a new Sim Card would affect the ability to unlock Remote Activation?

I bought a used iPhone 4s, prechecked IMEI number, which indicated that it was not stolen, but I had no idea on the lock activation. Former owner is willing to work, but can't figure out what to do (I emailed the help pages Apple), would be the fact that I have installed the Sim Card have affected something

Locking activation is a feature of security built into iOS. Please seethis support document to learn more about locking Activation.

My suggestion would be to contact the original owner and ask him to enter the identifier Apple and password so that you can disable find my iPhone.

    I hope this helps.

  • MDM and locking activation

    Hi people!

A question about MDM and Activation lock.

We currently use Airwatch as our management solution and have a mixture of mini iPad, iPad air casual iPod touch and iPhone (4S and 5s) so for the most up-to-date running IOS, with a few exceptions that we are not particularly concerned with the older iPod.

Each device has its own unique iTunes/iCloud account and is prepared and supervised using the Configurator by Apple.

We would like to use Activation lock to prevent anyone a wiping device and reconfiguring iPad bog standard, but it seems that supervise a device disables Activation Lock, and I don't see a way to reactivate.

Anyone have any ideas on how to go about it? I did a bit of research on Google, but most of the results I turned up were about the removal of activation locks rather than setting them up.

Lock activation is side-feature of "find my iPad". Turn on--> iCloud settings and the device will be locked activation.

  • Reset the system configuration resets the lock for disabled mode?

The host runs ESXi 4.1. I activated the lock mode in vCenter which takes place in one of the virtual machines on the host.  Later I stop the host.  Now I can connect to this server vCenter because it is broken and can not connect the host via vSphere client because the lock mode is activated.  The lock mode setting is dimmed in DCUI. So I can't go in the lock mode setting to turn it off now.  In addition, it does not allow me, connect to local TSM with the correct root account. so I can't disable lock mode using vSphere CLI.

Is there a way to start the virtual machines in this situation?

I'm not sure that reset system configuration in DCUI will help, it resets the mode of locking for disabled?

or if rebuilt the ESXi reinstall it will help? It will remain of all virtual machines?

    Any help will be appreciated.

  • Can I sell an iPhone that is locked Activation iCloud

I saw the apple recycling program. I was unfortunately sold a locked activation iCloud iPhone which I can't bypass the activation screen. I decided to bite the bullet and buy an apple iPhone for not you get scammed again. With the apple recycling program am I able to sell back/recycle the iCloud LOCKED iPhone and get the activation credit towards my new purchase or not?

    Thank you

    A frustrated craiglister

Have you tried to contact the person who sold you the phone even once?

Regarding recycling, I don't think you can do, as Activation lock is designed to prevent and protect devices stolen, and despite your explanation, it would be like they tried to recycle and rewards you for a device that cannot be used. While I am just a user like you, you can contact Apple if you want to discover.

  • All locked or disabled to restart user accounts

I was faced with a problem with my user accounts getting locked out/disabled every time that I reboot my system. I can't start in safe mode, I can't run the system restore, I can't do anything but run a startup disk that will allow me to unlock locked accounts and remove the passwords so now that I'm stuck without the disc I'm totally locked out of my system.

I am not connect to any network or something like that so they aren't locking me. I think it's Windows or a virus, but I've scanned several times my virus from the system.

I realize maybe there's not much I can do until I have retrieve the boot disk, but I want to solve this problem, so it is not keep happening to me.

    Hi Mchase34,

You will need to make arrangements for the drive of the Windows operating system. Once you have the startup disk, and then follow the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base.

  • F2 key is no longer active / disable the wifi switch card

I have laptop Dell mini. The F2 key is no longer active / disables the power switch wifi card. It is always disabled. The device is present, it seems to be a software problem. I uninstalled the drivers and them was reinstalled. I even completely reinstalled Windows 7. Nothing will get my F2 key works again.

    Happy, it's kind of better.

Consider going to Dell support for new copies of their public services - things with names like

    Dell Wireless enable / disable

    Dell function keys

that is, no matter what the equivalents are for your system. I just had a peek at one of the Minis because I didn't know you had and these names seem to be utilities controlling the special Dell configured keyboard keys [including F2 is a].

If you sign in with your Service tag, it just goes to show that you updated utilities & drivers but at the top of the list, right next to a label with your serial number on will be a tab for all models of type - leaf through as you don't care if something is an updated version you need to replace a utility that does not work properly.

    Good luck

I have activation lock on my iPad and now the unit is under foreign control Apple ID. I've been hacked. Now, I can not activate my gadget. What can I do? I have the tab of the store where I bought the iPad and my work Apple ID. Help please!

Not sure what you mean "I have the tab of the store?

If you were the original purchaser of the iPad (i.e. he not was purchased used), you could try to go to an Apple Store (make a Genius Bar appointment if you do) or try to contact iTunes Support Online (https://www.apple.com/emea/support/itunes/contact.html) and see if they can remove the iPad on the account - they are likely to want to see proof of ownership before they could for example help original receipt with the serial number top
