  Is it really a Microsoft, Logitech, or some other mice of brand (with the Dell name on it)?

  If it was made by Logitech (which is entirely possible), you can install the Setpoint from Logitech (free) software that expected to let you program the scroll wheel button, etc.

  Look on the site of Logitech to see if you can find a mouse that looks like yours and download the application of corresponding setpoint for the mouse and your version of Windows. Be a good idea to manually set a system restore point before installing the Setpoint software, just in case you need to save because of an unexpected problem.

  Other brands may have also their own mouse software equivalent, but I am only familiar with Logitech.

  You can also had a particular line.

  Select the line, you need to hide, and then in the option right pane you can see ' * properties Row: . " Select hide and this particular line would be hidden.

  Is it possible to lock the mouse in a virtual machine? I'm trying to implement a VM in Vista for my child to use to play Windows games, and it would really make things easier for her if the mouse was going to stay in the window of virtual machine rather than wander outside of it when it moves the cursor. Run the VM fullscreen doesn't really work either, since we have a dual display configuration, and the mouse can still go to the other screen.

• How to lock the taskbar is always on top?

  I can't get the toolbar remain on top. Especially when I open internet explore or optimize any screen.  I have 'locked' and unlocked the task bar in the Panel without result.   I suggest you try the following steps.

  a. right click on the taskbar.
  b. click Properties.
  c. on the taskbar tab, uncheck the option Auto-hide the taskbar.
  d. click on apply and OK.
  e. right click on the taskbar and lock the taskbar.

  I have a computer laptop X 205 - Sli 3 satellite, which is a little more than a month and running windows Vista. (let me know if the exact specifications make a difference)

Everything is displayed normally but still black screen after the loading bar Microsoft...

  Man, such an expensive machine and then all this work of wouldn because of some software sh... So, if you have backed up your most important files, then, I would _recommend_ you to recover your machine. Won´t solve you anything just trying to find the error, believe me, you'll go nuts.

  Just put the recovery in the drive and start the process of "delete-all-my-programs-but-protect-my-nerves-and-make-everything-OK".
