locked out of my error of the portable computer, your PC is in offline mode. Please sign in with the last password used on this PC"
OT: locked out of my laptop.
Hello, I have an Asus with Windows 8, and last night my friend locked me out of my laptop by pressing on enter far too often. Now I can not connect on my laptop. Whenever I get my password it says "your PC is offline.". Please sign in with the last password used on this PC"and I really need to get inside because I have a great duty that I have to finish and return. I really need help.
Hello Tiana,
Thanks for posting your query in Microsoft Community Forum.
Of course, I understand the feeling of being locked out of computer especially when you have something important lined up.
In this scenario, you perform Refresh if you have Windows 8 DVD with you.
How to refresh, reset or restore your PC
Warning: Apps that you have installed Web sites and DVD will be removed. The applications provided with your PC and applications that you have installed in the Windows store will be resettled. Windows puts a list of apps removed on your desktop after you refresh your PC.
In case you don't have a disc, you can contact Asus that can help reset the computer to factory settings.
Hope this information is useful. Please feel free to answer in the case where you are facing in the future other problems with Windows.
Thank you.

Original title: necessary emergency assistance, cannot log on to pc, password not recognized
Last week, I bought a brand new model of laptop Asus K55A. All had been working fine without any problems, but when I tried to connect today (after previously working well earlier today a stop and then restart a few hours later) I could not signed. The message I get is: "your computer is offline, please enter the last password used on this computer" OR "that password is incorrect. Make sure that you use the password to your account Microsoft "and then gives the address to visit to reset the password as an option.
I am now on a different pc and (after literally hours of trial and error messages on the site of Microsoft live!) have managed to reset my password - obviously successful because I used it to connect to this form. However, when I restart and try to connect to my own laptop, I just get the same thing. It is not to recognize the new password! As I am the ONLY user on my laptop has no way for me to go at all! Help, please. Without him recognize the new password, my new laptop is completely useless!
NB: I'm not too so there are a limited number of questions technical I can answer, however the above should give you the gist of the question, if all goes well computer savvy. Windows 8 is the operating system in question, btw.
"PROBLEM SOLVED-"your PC is disconnected"Message in Windows 8.Here's how I fixed my Asus laptop, but works the same on all the others, I'm sure. Easy instructions are here:www.nextofwindows.com/How-to-deal-with-your-PC-is-Offline-message-in-Windows-8/I went to the Business Center at the apt community I live in, pulled the decision-making network of one of their boxes and plugged my laptop, efficiently connect to their internet. I did not stop their computer, I just it out and put it in my laptop. Then I logged on my laptop with my hotmail account. It was all she wanted. I was in!I disconnected and close my laptop. And reconnect their their pc network cable.I pulled my laptop to make sure, it was fixed, and it is. Awsome. We had to plug into a network with a network cable, taking care of her.You have no idea how long it took me to find this simple answer. Their positions are everywhere and people are being told to wipe their readers or buy a piece of a $30 software. -

Hello
Usually this problem is caused if there any changes in the configuration of the keyboard, or due to Internet connection issues. I would like to know some information about this problem, so that we can help you further.
1. do you have the question started recently?
2. have you recently changed the password?
3. have you made changes on the computer before this problem?
I suggest you to make sure that the caps lock is not activated, if it is enabled, then turn it off and check if that helps.
If you are still not able to connect to your account using the password, then I suggest you to check the steps mentioned by Cliff_N on December 7, last here:
Please respond with more information on this issue, so that we can better help you. -
I have Windows 8 and you are unable to open a session. I have reset my password online successfully, but the new password does not work. The message says: "your computer is offline. Please sign in with the last password used on this computer. "I don't remember last password that I used. Any ideas?
Original titile: password is not working on Windows 8
People it is a very simple and easy solution to this problem! Once you have reset your password from another PC/laptop or any other server for windows 8, you go back to your PC / laptop original where you forgot your password and do the following...
1. even if you have reset your password, make sure you have an internet connection for this laptop can be wired or WIFI Hotspot even
2. make sure that connect you using the option under your network settings in the lower left corner of your logg in screen.
3. Once you are connected then only can type you the new password that you changed.
NOW, the simple reason for this is that when you have conveniently forgotten your logg in detail on this pc it does not recognize your new password unless it is connected to your online account.

I use W8 for months and all of a sudden, while traveling, I can't connect to my computer. I get the error "your PC is offline.". Please sign in with the last password used on this computer. "I am sure that I use the password. I have a flash drive and another laptop (Running OS X) at my disposal. What should I do to access my laptop?I don't have access to my local network, or any network besides.I have not recently changed password. I can't restore or refresh because it requires the password and says that isn't true. I never installed webroot or anything of that kind. Results in the same number safe mode.I can't connect to my Live account with my phone just fine.I do not have a local account. It's ridiculous and absurd oblivion by Microsoft. I'll be away a network known for a week and have literally no access to my computer. I would like to take this opportunity to warn all users of Windows 8 to make sure that they USE LOCAL ACCOUNTS. DO NOT USE DIRECT REPRESENTS WINDOWS 8, BECAUSE IF THIS HAPPENS TO YOU AND YOU CANNOT CONNECT TO A WELL-KNOWN. NETWORK, YOU WILL BE LOCKED.I am aware that there are discussions on this topic, but I want to throw oil on the fire, so to speak, because as far as I know, there is no solution.
* EDIT *.
The only solution is to connect to a known network. If you are not able to connect to a known network, you can not connect, simple as that. It's a big bug for sure. I repeat, change your account to a local account to avoid this problem. So I solved this problem, but unfortunately, it was as bad as I thought. As I thought, you need to connect to a network "Known", and then try to connect. It should work. If you are not near a network known (as if I was), as far as I know, there is no solution. To avoid this, change your account to a "Local" account
My theory for the problem is the following:
When you connect using a Live account, the password is saved locally and on the network. If you are connected to a network, it verifies the password that you enter the password stored on the network. If they match, it will allow one, sign in. If you are disconnected from the network, Windows attempts to match the password online, realizes he cannot, then checks the local password. Somehow, in my case, the password locally must have been changed or deleted and so the password entered always was "Incorrect."
So yes, big problem, I'm sure the solution is quite simple, but in the meantime, use a local account to prevent this. I was stranded, and it was a huge headache and cost me many hours of work. -
I'm so angry. I did everything and I can't connect my new pc Windows 8! I live in New Jersey and set up my network connection there, but I'm going to school in California (where I don't had not set up a connection without wire/local). I have configured my pc via a microsoft account and now it does not allow me to log in because I am not connected to the internet and can not connect to the internet. I can not update/use command prompt to connect to the wifi/etc. because all actions require my password. I even tried to use an Ethernet cable. Nothing works! He always says "your PC is offline.". Please sign in with the last password used on this computer. "I HAVE NOT CHANGED MY PASSWORD! and my account has not been hacked. This problem is simply my inability to connect to the internet. It's BS. Microsoft, you better come up with a fix for this young! If anyone has found a solution to this problem, please answer! I have very important files/software that I can't simply delete. This bug is much too big for Microsoft to miss and should be fixed immediately. How am I supposed to use this PC for school?
But... In order to implement a local account, you must first connect to the Microsoft account that brings back us to the same error. I had this problem as well and he needs to be addressed. Whenever you walk away a network before installation on your PC/laptop, you will have this problem. Try this... turn off PC/laptop, then go to another computer and sign in to Microsoft Web site account. Connect with an Ethernet cable and turn on your PC/laptop with the connection problem and try to connect again. It should work.

Original title: Unable to connect
Ok. So I'm having a few problems to connect to my computer windows laptop 8. I have reset my password like 5 times, restarted my computer over the same period of time, and I can not even sign. When I try to sign, it says: "your computer is offline. Please sign in with the last password used on this computer. "Well, I don't know what was the last password. I'm sure that the last time I registered on my laptop, I used the PIN that I used to have for her. The only reason why I changed it was because I wanted it to be more difficult to get into my PC. But I wanted more difficult for other people, not more difficult for me. Can someone help me with this please?

"Your PC is offline." Please sign in with the last password used on this PC"
I'm getting this when I try to logon 8 ' windows your PC is offline. Please sign in with the last password used on this computer". I conclude that this is because it is not connected to the internet (changed my password but still can't log on). Why does it matter if it is or is not connected? How can I connect if I can't login? Are my only options 'internet cable' & take it at home when it connects (hopefully) automatically to my wifi? Is there a way to get around this? I have a wifi at work I connect to-electrician is not an option that our system is pretty blocked down.
Help, please.
Shannan
If she doesn't have internet, it knows only the last password you used to connect. Use it. That's what he tells you.
If it was connected it would verify the new password on the server, but it can't because it's... In offline mode. Use your old password and it should work.

Think about it an absolute must - manually update your drivers.
Vista and Windows 7 updated drivers love then here's how update the most important.
This is my generic how updates of appropriate driver:

MS is far behind the certification of drivers) - then do a right click - Uninstall - REBOOT
This will refresh the driver stack.Repeat this for network - card (NIC), Wifi network, sound, mouse, and keyboard

Added jar are obviously necessary, I think that the problem is the XML parser that uses Oracle Weblogic.
I did a Test case jsf libraries leaving only jslt 2.0, 1.2 and pots to jxls and the error is the same, do not pass this in a tomcat.
Any idea?
Best regards, MarceloI even put libraries in the WEB-INF/lib and the error remains the

Add jxls JAR files for the + to the \\user_projects\domains\base_domain\bin\startWebLogic+ script

Original title: automation of file tiff without elevated rights association
I tried to write a script, the user can use. This return number file *.tiff associations back using the image viewer is caused each month.
Hi, Unclemarcus2002,
You would be wiser to post on the Forum TechNet where there is COMPUTER experts.
http://social.technet.Microsoft.com/forums/en-us/newThread
Maybe using the ASSOC and FTYPE command in a script will do what you want? I think that these orders would also apply the association throughout the world, rather than on a per-user basis.
ASSOC: http:
FTPYE: http:
Here is an example, that you can try.
Let's say you have a text file called "foo.bar" and you want the extension .bar always open with Notepad. There is an association for text files, so get him by typing "Ftype | more' at the command prompt (it will make a major announcement). Finally, you'll see the line "txtfile". On mine, it's "txtfile=%systemroot%\system32\notepad.exe %1" without the quotes.
First create your association: assoc .bar = FooBarText
Now to assign your request to your file type association: ftype FooBarText=%systemroot%\system32\notepad.exe %1
You should now be able to double-click the foo.bar file and it will automatically open in Notepad.
If you already have a Microsoft Office Document Imaging association, I think that it should be relatively simple type of substitution. Use ftype /? for a little more help.
