login Content Viewer iPad

Hello

I recently installed the Adobe Content Viewer app on my iPad. When I try to connect with my Adobe ID, it says "authentication failed".  I tried to uninstall, and then put it back, change passwords, etc.  Nada.  I can connect without problems on the site, but were not able to connect to the application successfully yet.  Thanks for your help.

OK, I just stumbled on another post on that.  Apparently, he must go to https://digitalpublishing.acrobat.com/app.html and login here, precisely.  Once you do, it will bring up another set of terms you need to accept.  Once you do this, the ipad application will authenticate your login.

Must be the best direction to what 'authentication failed' in the application.  It took far too long to figure out.  I'm not a creator of digital content and publishing, only one user ("pushed" to me).  So, I would have normally no reason to connect on the site digitalpublishing.

hope this helps someone else!

Of course it isn't. Apple it has not yet approved.

You need to stick with 24 version compatibility until they do.

  • DPS will not be updated on Adobe Content Viewer

    Hello

I'm pretty new to DPS, but I try my best solve the problems. When I saw my app on the desktop preview, it updates perfectly and everything works fine. However, it does not update on the Adobe Content Viewer iPad in the what I have compiled first my folio. I have archived it and downloaded over and over again, restarted LCA, rebooted the iPad, and nothing works. There is no error message and it does not crash, it will not simply be updated. Help, please!

Lol that won't update the article.

Select it in the Panel of folio builder and open the Panel menu. You will see a command to update there.

After logon is displayed, this update of the folio is available and Content Viewer will immediately to connect. On the second attempt Content Viewer remains connected, but folio cannot be downloaded - download error.

These problems I have since January 31, but about 12 hours ago power works fine.

I thing it's something wrong on the servers + in Content Viewer 3.0

There is a bug that creates this behavior. DPS Engineering is currently working on a fix.

  • Acrobat Content Viewer on iPad

Any ideas on getting the content viewer Acrobt to authenticate on my iPad?  I did all the e-mails, changed my password, nothing works. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you!

    Syrena

Authentication failure usually occurs in two situations: (1) If you try to connect with a login Adobe that has not been verified. Have you connected to https://digitalpublishing.acrobat.com and check your Adobe ID? (2) If your iPad is not connected to the Internet.

  • Limits for Adobe Content Viewer for iPad. Is there a limit?

    Hello group.

I built a prototype of my project to share with our team of advertising under a custom connection. Sales reps would download the Adobe Content Viewer on their iPads and use a single Adobe ID to view this project. There are approximately 50 sales representatives who would be loging using the same login.

Is it possible that multiple users could connect you with the same login?

I ask because some sales representatives can connect you while others may not.

    Thank you.

    Andrea

    There is no limit.

  • Possible to open a PDF file in Content Viewer on iPad

I was asked to include several PDF Datasheet in a folios existing presentation for some of our sales people. In the past, PDF files have been loaded on the iPad and to access, they close the content viewer application, open acrobat and open the PDF file. They asked if there is an easier way for them to access the PDF files. Without adding them as additional articles, is it possible to add a PDF file in the folder of links of a Folio, and then create a button to open this PDF fullscreen?

    Use a HTMLResources.zip file.

  • Folio will not complete download to Adobe Content Viewer on iPad

I work in InDesign 2014.2 Windows and using the most recent version of the viewer Adobe Content (as of 24/11/15) on the iPad. He sees the folio (unpublished) that I created and some items are appearing. But other items will not complete the download process. They say just 'pending' or 'preparation '. They never get beyond, even after 24 hours. I tried to restart, signing in and out of InDesign and Content Viewer with no luck. I am able to view the full folio in the viewer of content on my desktop and my colleagues are able to download the full folio on their iPads without problem. How can I fix?

I deleted the Adobe Content Viewer app from the iPad and reinstalled. He is currently working.

  • iPad (Content Viewer) shows more folios then I see in the producer of Folio. Nothing is downloaded.

Hi, my iPad (Content Viewer) shows more folios then I see in the producer of Folio. Nothing is downloaded. Can I somehow remove these slips, with as an "account restore" - button? There are two folios published, even if I see three in my iPad (Content Viewer), which two of them should not be there. Any solution to this?

    Hi Andreas,

You should contact the company's support and they can help you with this. You can find contact information by logging on http://digitalpublishing.acrobat.com/ and looking at the Middle bottom of the screen.

  • Preview with Content Viewer on iPad?

I have students create projects DPS who want to just display/use in a gallery on an iPad, without publishing the App. Currently, we do this with the content on iPads Viewer application. What is the CC 2015 this version? I can't find anything in the user's Guide or documentation I've seen so far.

Yes, it came out for Android and Windows and we are waiting on Apple to approve the iOS version. It's pretty sweet, the team has worked very hard to make a great experience and I personally believe that his way is more useful than the previous Soft Adobe Content Viewer. We even more cool stuff to come!

I was the one who made the call to exit the application before the flight until after 2015 DPS. The alternative was to retain the entire product DPS 2015 of customers who are hungry to start playing with all the new features until we had the application before the flight ended, and I suspect that everybody in this forum would not have been too happy

  • How to test and develop the HTML/Backbone of content viewer on IPad?

    Hello

I was responsible for developing and modifying the custom HTML/Backbone of content viewer as well detailed and explained by Derek Lu here:

    https://www.Adobe.com/devnet/digitalpublishingsuite/articles/html-default-library.html#

I can see that by removing the reference to libs/AdobeLibraryAPI.js index.html I am able to 'test' on the desktop.

    <!--

    The DPS library/store API.

Understand it below should be placed in the comments during the test on the desktop.

    < script src = "libs/AdobeLibraryAPI.js" > < / script >->

and that the data are bought in XML via the respect and the parse method is called Librarycollection.

I made the changes to hang the Viewer to bring in some of the folios we develop.

However, even if it means to test and develop on the desktop in a form since we use JS and spine, there several checks in the code provided to see if ADOBE.isAPIAvailable.

If this is the case, then the behavior is different than on the desktop, so once the Viewer is packed to the top and put it on the IPad there is a disparity between what you were able to check and test on the desktop version against which is shown on the IPad.

So the question is... is there a quick way to develop and test on the Ipad... it does not seem a viable option to develop blindly on the desktop and then package the content in Adobe DPS Viewer to check the behavior of these changes on the IPad?

To reiterate the Viewer is to make use of the spine / js example to provide greater functionality and customization options.

    Thank you in advance.

    Dave

You can debug remotely using Safari Office. Installation instructions are here a debugging library or a custom storefront iOS | Adobe Developer Connection. When you are debugging on the device you should also load your JS and CSS files remotely. Use SHIFT + CMD + R to reload the files from the web Inspector, ignoring the cache.

  • Problems on ipad with v32 iOS8 content viewer.

When I saw my work since Indesign my preview apps apps work once then when you return to the library view, that they turn as if they treat and never open. I upgrade v32 for office tools and content player and rebuilt the app.

On my older ipad with iOS7 everything works well like he did during the last years.

I also connected with an existing account and loaded an app published previously in the viewer of content on ipad iOS8 and it works fine.

This sounds like a question addressed in version 32.2 of the LCA.

Digital Publishing Suite help | DPS Bug Fix Release Notes

    • You can now get a preview on the device from the library on iOS devices 8. (3829804)

The LCA 32.2 is still in preparation for the presentation. If all goes well, it is available in the App Store at the end of this week or early next week. In the meantime, you can get the latest features by building a content adobe Viewer in the app Builder.
