  The red light of the headset jack means the MacBook Pro thinking that an optical audio cable is plugged into the port. Try to have disconnected and reconnected a headphone plug into the port several times. There is a tiny sensor inside the port that determines if the port is operating in analog or optical mode. Something similar by plugging should trigger the sensor and restore the analog signal.

  Where do you see this message? If it's on Yahoo itself, you can ignore it or click ignore. Sites have no idea of your current home page, because web pages are not allowed to read the settings of your browser. In general they just continually make themselves known, and if tell you them to be quiet, they remember that setting a cookie.

  My search engine keeps coming back to Amazon. I need to change back to Google every time I log on my computer. I deleted all the other search engines, including Amazon. However, while other search engines remain deleted, Amazon continues to get back on the list.   CSA can cause this problem, so check its settings and see if it always happens with those who protect the features are disabled.

  Start the computer in Mode safe mode with network support Windows (on the startup screen, press F8) as a test to see if that helps.

  Make sure that you run not Firefox mode full screen (press F11 or Fn + F11 to toggle; Mac: Command + SHIFT + F).

  Unfortunately, this is a problem with the 5.0.1 android update on htc m8 a devices from verizon for the time. There is a fix for this problem of mozilla already in progress, so please look out for an update of firefox in the google game store in the coming days.

  Have a HTC a M8
  It was working fine with Firefox until the 5.0.1 Android update Lollipop was installed today.
  Firefox does not work - it just opens and crashes to the count of 5. To send the report. Restart, done the same thing.
  Tried - uninstalling and reinstalling (last version via GooglePlay). Empty the cache. Boot into recovery and clearing the cache partition.
  None of these elements of fixed the problem.
  Fix Firefox for my phone soon! I'm a Web site developer and need my Firefox. Not to mention I don't like these other options. Although the Chrome and the Dolphin seem to work very well. Please don't use these other guys.

  Whenever I start Firefox on my M8 Verizon HTC ONE since the update of the lollipop, it crashes after about a second or two. I use the latest version of Firefox on the game store and the behaviour continues even after uninstalling Firefox and do a clean install.

• Black dust coming out of air vent

  I had my hard drive changed under warranty last year due to the failure and loads of carbon black and dust coming out of the ventilation duct. I just noticed on start up there is more of this dust that comes out of the machine. I did a test of hardware, restart keep had ', and when the fans were running a cloud of dust came out covering my work desk. The test reported no error, but I'm really worried because it is an indication that the new drive is defective, and my warranty run out 15 days ago.

  First thing to do is to back up your hard drive.  Then I would make an appointment as soon as POSSIBLE to the Genius Bar approach for a check without a diagnosis.  If you are only 2 weeks out of warranty, you might be able to talk to them in honoring it.  But get on record as soon as POSSIBLE for an appointment.

  You can click on the "Restore default" button to restore the toolbar setup by default if there is a problem with the customization of the toolbars.

  You can check the problems caused by a corrupt localstore.rdf file if you continue to have problems.
