Long text flowing incorrectly on the next page field

Hi guys,.

I checked the "allow Page Breaks in content" in a subform. I include a field of text in the subform and checked "Allow multiple lines" so if long text cannot fit in the text field in a page, it will continue to the next page. The problem is now in the second page content is not continue from the first page, but it is to copy the content of the first page.

For example: 8 lines must be inserted in the text field. Only 5 lines can fit into the text box on first page. Then the line 6-8 should continue on the second page. Yes, the text field has 3 lines on the second page, but not line 6-8, it copies the line 1-3 on the first page.

Anyone has any experience on this or can anyone help me?

  • Expandable text boxes continue on the next page?

    So I'm still new to do with LiveCycle Forms. I managed to get about 95 percent of the done form. What I can't understand is how to get a subform with two expandable to be returned on the second page text boxes. Any ideas? I read that "technically" it isn't a second page that it was all based on the hierarchy but, I have a second page "(sans titre Subform) (page2.") I want the subform with expandable text boxes ended on the second page and push the content down. So far, all I got is for information to cut at the bottom of page 1.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hello

    given that your text box is inside a subform that is on a Page, you must ensure that each of the elements who are the parents of the textbox are all resolved Flowed content

    Also, make sure that each parents are allow to jump to Page content

    You can find these options in the object palette > subform

    Also, make sure that your text box has Page breaks allow within the content option 'checked '.

  • Book formatting: last line of text will move to the next page

    Hi, I hope someone can help me with this. I put in the form of a book in InDesign. I lined up my text to a grid, and that works very well. What does not work, it is the last line on the pages of random left moves to the top of the next page, leaving an empty line at the bottom. Here is a diagram which is supposed to represent the facing pages. As you can see, there is a gap in the lower left page. Help!

    Text begins here

    here goes

    and here

    and here

    and here

    move here

    and here

    and here

    and here

    and here

    and here.

    My guess is that you have an Option to keep to keep the last line with the following in paragraph that moves, or stay with the previous paragraph after.

  • copy is break to the next page and don't sink to the bottom of the text box

    I have a document where text is decorated with style sheets and overrides are disabled, but the text is introduced on the next page, rather than sinking to the bottom of the text box. I've had this problem several times in the past but have never figured out how to fix the problem.

    Sometimes it can also happen without reason - simply because the story

    reestablish has no kick.

    If this is the case, of all the stories to recompose: Shift + Enter to open Quick

    Apply, and then by typing "recompose" should show the required element:

    "Recompose all stories." Sometimes white gaps in the

    at the bottom of pages (quite rare).

    Bonus question: does anyone know what is the difference between "redial".

    all the stories"and" recompose all stories immediately "is (since the two

    seems to work immediately!) ?

    Is there an alternative to the key "entry" on the keyboard to numbers for the text to go to the next page? I work on a laptop and don't have an extended keyboard. I'm using CS5.

    What is a Macbook? Return of the FN will do. Alternatively, you can change the keyboard shortcut.

  • -Text form field can overflow to the next page?

    Can I create a field, where if the user types text that overflows the page space, it can allow the text flow into a field on the next page?

    Thanks in advance :))

    No, it must be the script of the hit. Select a Format for the custom category, and you should see where to place the code. Don't forget to remove from the Validate event.

  • Subforms that flows to the next page... not!

    I have my subform and he's ready to sink with page breaks. The first 3 work great. #4. Works, but only insofar as it prints out of the page instead of going on the next page.

    In addition, #5 disappears. It is not printed on, it is just not there.

    Suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

    Here is the corrected form...

    https://Acrobat.com/#d=XkTgjHiOabhjmGQeMfHx7A

    It even if you did the subform to transmit, you do not have the same level of page 1 setting...

    But if you change page 1 to be Flowed, then it wil reorganize all firlds on the form. To maintain your position of fields, wrapped in subforms separated and I set them to position.

    I organized your form until Page5... you can check the changes and follow them for the rest of the form...

    You don't need a master page for each Page that you add to the form. You can keep a master page and reuse. You can add a new master page only if the data that appears is totally different from the 1st master page.

    I placed the title of the form on the main page, so it can appear on all pages of the form.

    I hope this helps.

  • Items flowing the next page hides the subsequent elments

    Hello

    I have 2 subform placed vertically alongside each other within the main subform.

    Subform1 (positioned, allow the page break, continues to fill the previous page, in the content area)

    subform2 (flowed)

    TextField1 (var Length)

    textfiled2 (var Length)

    textfiled3 (filxed length)

    textfield4 (fixed length)

    subform3 (seen textfield with length) (positioned) fixed

    Now my problem is that textfiled1 and textfield2 are variable length in subform2 then when they hv a lot of data which was to return to the next page, in this case data flows next page but hides the textfiled3 and the textfield4.

    I don't know what the problem of the setting of the page layout, please suggest something

  • Headings flow incorrectly on the table of contents

    I created a document with a table of contents. When I add the table of contents, the first page contains only the first 9 titles. The rest continue on the next page.

    I've included a screenshot of the problem below. It seems not serious if I adjusted the TOC styles before add you it or after. I drew the pages of table of contents based on [none] (instead of A-master). I don't use facing Pages. I used the primary text block option when I created the document. The text has been placed at the origin of a RTF.

    I had rather the text flow correctly rather than to have to do some kind of hack (e.g., making it the first smaller text box and one on the second page slide up on the first).

    The problem also occurs on the third page of the TOC (once again, after a title of level 1 - this time section 5). I hope it's the same solution for both.

  • Manual search - when start us research by removing the value manally, same results for future research in the next page.

    Hi guys OAF.

    Created a page of manual search with several buttons below. After entering search criteria and click on the first button, it shows the records in a separate page where I perform trade operations. The second page, I have a "back to the main search" link that takes me to the first page of search.

    Now, if I remove the value of any field of text input by clicking X mark the end of the field, or pressing the button remove the key board and try searching again, same values are to come in the next page as if I did not remove the value.

    Data on the next page is mainly with the help of setWhereClause. And here is the code I wrote.

    public void issueQuery (String OrderNum)

    {

    If ((OrderNum! = null) & & (!("".)) Equals (OrderNum.Trim ()))

    {

    setWhereClause ("ORDER_NUMBER =: 1");

    setWhereClauseParams (null); Always reset

    setWhereClauseParam (0, OrderNum);

    }

    executeQuery();

    }

    Please advice, what has gone wrong or its something Oracle behavior?

    Thank you

    Use case is made for model train, which is being implemented based on this blog: http://javacollectibles.blogspot.co.UK/2014/10/ADF-train-template.html

    We define a generic action following in the model, but the action must be called under certain conditions, based on the question of whether all validation controls had been passed on no.

    You can do this in two ways:

    1 returnValue = (String) ADFUtils.invokeEL("#{controllerContext.currentViewPort.taskFlowContext.trainModel.getNext}");

    return returnValue;

    2.

    public String getNextTrainStop() {}

    TaskFlowTrainStopModel currentStop = taskFlowTrainModel.getCurrentStop ();

    I have some difficulty to select the text block on the next page for some reason any. I looked at some previous discussions and he doesn't seem to be mentioned solution. Is there a better way to do it? Thank you!

    for (i=0; i<doc.pages.length; i++) {

                        currentPage.textFrames.item(0).textFramePreferences.verticalJustification = 1785951334;

    Never mind! Just thought out for anyone interested... turns out it was something small. He kept giving an error because when he would get at the end of the document he will be looking for the 'next page' and it would not find a. 1 subtraction of the length of the document appears to remedy.

    I wonder how many times people mark the correct answer own...

    doc = app.activeDocument;

    for (i=0; i

              currentPage = doc.pages.item(i);

              nextPage = doc.pages.item(i+1);

              if (nextPage.textFrames.item(0).paragraphs.length > 2) {

                   alert("Stuff");

              }
