  You should take a look at your startup programs and decide what is really necessary and what is nothing more than useless clutter. There is nothing wrong with the startup programs, some may be really useful or even necessary for your personal needs. But keep in mind that many programs build to start when you start the computer and that most of them must not start when the computer starts, all they do is slow down your boot time and clutter of things when you're trying to solve problems, and some are downright harmful!

  I mean, have you really need things like real Planner and Gadwin Print Screen running all the time? These programs will run very well, even if they are not started automatically every time that you start the computer. Go to these programs and change/disable their boot option.   I can't tell you what to keep, startup items it is a personal preference, but pretty well all the startup items indicated by CodeStuff Starter are safe to disable, and changes are easy to reverse if you change your mind. Searches for items it shows you and decide whether or not these things are really useful or necessary. Some programs will be started at startup without your knowledge and over time, that list can expand to include useless parasites, part of good computer maintenance includes regular control of these startup items and the removal of the unnecessary.

  We use WebLogic 9.2 on a windows machine.
  Recently, we have improved our request to work with JMS.
  We are on 2 different servers in a cluster using 2 JMS servers and works with distributed destinations.
  We use file storage as our persistence store.
  
  Recently, we found boot server takes a long time because of the actions that are performed on the storage of files.
  Analysis of this problem, we have seen that the size of the file is of ~ 2 GB.
  We understand that the file size does not fear (unless it is compacted manually), and its size matches the largest number ever of pending messages in the queues (as a mark of high tide).
  We shot also store debugging, using weblogic. Debug.DebugStoreIOPhysical and we saw a lot of recovery after newspapers file storage is open.
  We have checked and checked our JMS transactions are completed successfully. We also checked that the current messages and number of courses is 0.
  We stopped the server gracefully, check that there are no messages pending.
  However, several times takes start server ~ 30 minutes due to heavy work on the persistence store.
  Compaction or remove storage of files eliminates the delay.
  However, we want to avoid the manual operations whenever we want to start the server.

  The only suggestions I have off the top of my head are:

  * Ensure (1) the host system has at least 2 GB (the store file size) memory physics in addition to the memory used by the current process, and (2) the host system is not rebooted between each restart WebLogic. If you ensure that both of these, then the operating system puts implicitly cached content of the file of the store in memory even between boots - when WebLogic starts subsequently storing files, the o/s should be the content of the file much more quickly.

  * You can move to a JDBC store. Runtime JDBC store performance are lower, but since you have generally has only a small amount of records to retrieve, startup performance should be higher in this case.

  * Not that it helps your case, but it happens that we have significant performance improvements of starting process for a future version (if all goes well a near future release).

  It takes a long time until I can see the results in the admin interface apex I NTHE browser.

  I try to get the calculation of a price per product.

  In the example:

  Company X sells 1000 blue widgets for US $4.00

  Company sells 1000 blue widgets US $3.80

  Company X sells 1000 red widgets for US $4.00

  Company sells 1500 red widgets US $7.00

  The widgets of the two companies are the same, the only difference is the price and the amount you get for this particular price.

  How can I know what is the price per widget of company X and Y?

  How this formula / looks like in figures?

  Needless to say I tried many combinations of formulas, but I'm a total numbers noob and I can't seem to get this calculated, which of course is my mistake and not numbers.

  You want to know the unit price. Mathematically, which is obtained by dividing the cost of a set of items by the number of items in the game. On a worksheet, you enter information about a single line (columns A to D below), and then write your formula to use the cells containing the number of units and the cost for this number of units:

  

  E2 contains the following formula, which is then filled down the rest of the E column to produce the results shown.

  E2: = D/C

  Number will change the forward slash (/) a sign of division (÷) that looks almost like a sign more than the size of the font used.

  Because the Java Date instances are stored internally as long (millisecs elapsed since the beginning of the year 1970), so to represent a Java Date, more efficient storage is just to store the long number returned by getTime() and use this long to build Date.

  In addition, historically (with, for example, ExternalizableLite), there is no out-of-the-box support for attributes Date precisely, they were treated as simple objects (store lots of unnecessary data).

  Problem: Booting into windows is OK a tad slow ish but it load the Office once it takes forever to load before you can get along with just about anything.  As you can not connect to the Internet until the Office has charged.  I don't think its something in the system tray causing lazy loading.

  Any suggestions what to try please.

  It should not perform the function of the buttons on the capacitive Strip if you disable Task Scheduler fast player - however another option would be to put the service to start manually instead of automatically when Windows starts.  To do this, first enable the service from the msconfig services tab, apply the change and then reboot the laptop.

  When windows has completely recharged (it will probably slow again), open windows control panel, open administrative tools, and open Services.  Find the Task Scheduler player quick entry, right click and select Properties.  In the drop-down list next to Start up type, select manual, then click on apply then Ok to save the change.  Restart the computer for the change to apply and see if the time it takes to get a usable desktop is always good - if this is the case, then I'd leave the QPTS function defined in the manual.

• SOUL really takes a long time to open the encoding settings

  With the release of the SOUL 2014 versions, I've known wait times very long to open the encoding of employment settings. For example, if I add a sequence of images 1920 x 1080 to the encoder, choose Quicktime as the container and one of the available codecs, by clicking on the name of the codec to open its settings causes a very long delay, maybe 3 minutes, before the dialog box opens. I use a Macbook Pro with Yosemite. Previous versions before 2014 version has never had this problem. Is this a known issue?

  It is a known problem with SOUL running on Yosemite. We are working with Apple on the issue and hope it will be fixed in a next OS update.

• Microsoft keyboard takes a long time to open the Favorites

  I have a Microsoft ergonomic Natural Keyboard 4000, it works great but there is this problem that I can not get rid.

  all keys work properly, same custom and all functions, but the shortcut 5 Favorites buttons on top that I attributed to 5 different sites:

  So, there is nothing strange there.

  When I press a button, I expect to open the default browser and load the Web page.

  When the computer is idle, it takes about one or two seconds to occur.
  With several programs, it takes 10 seconds to 2 minutes.
  When computer heavy load, it will do nothing.

  I thought it might be the web browser, hang up, but if I press a button, and nothing happens, I can open the browser manually and instantly appears.

  I have updated about 6 months of a Logitech Cordless Desktop comfort keyboard which has 4 keys shortcut and even at 100% cpu, these buttons work (still) not instantly as expected, if it's not my computer.

  IM using Microsoft Mouse and keyboard Center 2.0 for Windows 7, just after a clean reinstall.

  There could be a lot of causes for the behavior you describe, but start with the simpler:

  1. reaffirm Internet Explorer as the browser in the default CUSTOM (<>) Set Program Access and defaults of the computerarticle.

  2. right-click on the following link & select SAVE TARGET under... to download/save the file on your desktop: http://www.slipstick.com/problems/reg/chromehtml.reg [1]

  2. double-click the file that you saved in # 2 above & accept invites him to MERGE with the registry data.

• My DLNA compatible TV takes a long time to detect the DLNA server on Windows 7 computer laptop via wifi

  I have a Panasonic plasma tv and a laptop running Windows 7 x 64.  I had no problem with the TV detect my laptop and watch movies via the DLNA server in wifi, aside from the videos stopping frequently, loss of the connection and reconnect.  Thinking it was a problem with my router, I contacted the manufacturer of the router and received a replacement of the same router.

  Apart from switching on the router, nothing has changed.  However, when I try to go to the DLNA function on the TV, it will appear the message "DLNA server is not found. Finally, anywhere from 2 to 10 minutes later, my computer appears on its own in the list and I can continue to watch the videos as usual.  The connection seems to be more stable than before because he rarely abandons the connection after the replacement of the router, but waiting for my computer appears mystified me.
  Y at - it is a particular setting in my notebook or the router that should be adjusted to solve this problem? As I said before, I reflected quite well the former router settings so I'm really helpless why it takes so long.

  addresses, as I suggested, you may be able to solve the problem. You could
  you want to ask their tech support for help if not clear from the user manual.

  What I know is that this feedback from cardinality generates more problems than improving the performance is, in fact, its main objective. But first look at which is was written in the link I posted above

  "Return of cardinality was introduced in the Oracle 11 g database 2. The purpose of this function is to automatically improve plans for queries that are executed repeatedly, _For that the optimizer does not estimate the cardinalities in the properly_ plan"

  If the cardinality feedback kiks in your case it is certainly because you do not have an exact statistics. Get the command the explain plans that I have shown you with the E-lines and A-lines (lines estimates and actual lines) and see where things are poorly estimated.

  If you want to disable the cardinality feedback then add the indicator according to your request

  There are no that you can actually do by e-mail delays. PHP mail() hands function simply the message to the transport agent of messaging from the web server (MTA), usually of Sendmail or Exim. What happens after that depends on the queue in the MTA. There are also problems of latency with your ISP. Most e-mail programs allow you to check the headers of the message, which usually will tell you the time that the message was received by different MTA along the road. Looking at them, you can get an idea hence the deadlock is underway, but it is not that you can do about it apart from moving to another ISP or hosting company.
