  Hi all

  I have Adobe CS4 on my laptop and created my Web site on this machine. A co-worker has also CS4 on their machine. I downloaded our website to their machine so that the person can do some changes.  However, when I open a page on their site machine seems all wrong. The divs are not published where it should and things don't align.  I downloaded the entire site (css files), but it's like they css is not connected.  Is there something special that needs to be done on the computer of your colleagues?

  Hello, my computer hard drive crashed so I'll replace it with a Windows 10 laptop. I was not able to uninstall CS5 so how can I now it reinstall it on a device that does not have an optical drive DVD; am I allowed to just copy the (original) disk to a flash drive and install from that?  (I have still the original disc and serial number but no downloadable version).   I'm used to make adjustments in Camera RAW and copy the image files for use on multiple workstations.  In this case, my settings go with the image file.  If I do my settings using Lightroom and move the image files to another computer I'll lose these adjustments?  I wonder if I invest all my time adjustment using Lightroom and my computer freezes I'll lose these adjustments even if I am backing up my files to an external drive.

  Yes, you will lose them unless you save in xmp. You're saving xmp is pressing the CTRL / Cmd + letter "S" or

  (a) in the library Module, you'll > metadata > save metadata to file, or

  (b) in the develop Module, you'll > Photo > save metadata to file.

  Without , Lr writes the changes to the catalog only. And, if you transfer pictures without the catalog to another computer your changes will be lost on the second computer.

  By an xmp file will be created that stores changes. In the case of a DNG format changes are not written in Xmp, but in the file header - same effect.

  Note, however, that not everything can be stored in xmp files. For example, collections, stacking are stored in the catalog only.

  This is probably because the record to xmp has been created to allow adjustment of Lr can be accessed in other Adobe products (for example, bridge). Naturally, only those "features" should be written in xmp that the other program can display.

  I created a book (a large, 180 pages) on a single computer, and I'd like to export such that I can open and edit on another computer on which lightroom is also installed. Any way I can find how do: in the options of the book, there is a way to export a book to pdf, jpg or blurb but nothing in a format that lightroom can re-open for changes.

  When you open the new catalog, you must go in the Collections Panel and click again on the Book Collection. It is the one with the icon that looks like an open book. Once you click it, it will reactivate your fundraising page layouts, etc. I just tested it and it worked fine.

  For the first computer, I suggest you use Menu/project archive/file copy project option to get the copied folder that will contain a copy of the project

  folder and copies of its assets. Then, transfer the file copied to a USB Flash drive for use on the second computer.

  In the second computer, open the folder copied, right click on the project file, select open with, and then Adobe Premiere elements 13.

  For your review if the archived project contains a theme of the movie Menu.

  Can I save the image to an image file and then reload the file on another computer for the image processing? What type of image format should I save for it? Is there any loss of image if I do this? The machine with the camera sits in our lab, and I want to test the software on my own computer image processing. So can someone give some good ideas on this. Thank you

  I assume you have the module development VDM and vision acquisition software going TO on your computer.

  So just use playback IMAQ and IMAQ save functions. BMP, png are good for losless save unlike jpg and jpeg2000.

  There is no way to disable CC products. When you enable a CC product on another computer, simply connect to Creative Cloud.CC will ask you if you it will activate on more than 2 computers.

For example, I'm editing the photos and want to show someone on another computer by copying pictures on a USB key and by bringing the reader to the other person's computer. They would then be able to open my photos in LR and see the changes that I made.  Is this possible and if so, how?

  If two people have the same version of LR (i.e., both have LR3), and then select the photos you want, then the file-> export as catalog, be sure to check "Are negative" and point LR into your flash drive. Move these files to the other computer, and in LR, file-> import from catalog.
