Look at an ipod classic 6th generation playlists for "Album".

When you use my ipod 6th generation 160 GB, I am unable to view the playlists in "Album" mode  I can only view the playlists for 'Song', which makes them practically impossible to manage due to the number of songs.  Is this something that escapes me in 'Settings' or something that will allow me to see the list of sight reading "Album?

Why not manage your playlists in iTunes and then sync the playlists on your device?

I got the iPod Classic for all my music has died. I replaced it with an iPod Touch (6th generation), but it seems that I lost the ability to evaluate my songs they play (used to be able to click on the middle button a few times and use the scroll wheel). I have created custom smart playlists based on the song ratings and if I have to be at my computer to write down all my songs, he would take my forever and probably never did. I see the 6th generation iPod allows you to songs favourites (with a heart), but now I'm wondering if it is transferred to ITunes somehow. I am not even of the ratings of my songs displayed when iPod touch play. Is the ability to rate on the fly songs a way of the past?

I discovered how do. During playback of a particular song, type the name of the track and the ranking is displayed.

  • iPod Nano 6th generation works with ElCapitan?

IPod Nano 6th generation works with El Capitan?

I can't seem to connect to iTunes 12 to download music?

My nano gen 5 works.  And my iPod 3rd gen since about 2003 "classic" works with the latest OS X and iTunes.

If you did not for a long time, remember to close the Mac (power off) and start it again.  iTunes has some background processes that identify when an iPod is connected, and they may stop working properly if the Mac worked without reboot for awhile.  Also, if you can, try to use another USB cable, where one of the uses has become defective.

Look at the screen of the iPod when you connect it?  What did he say or do, just after the connection (if any)?

  • IPod classic 5th generation has no audio headphones.

IPod classic 5th generation has no audio headphones, but it can play songs via computer, when connected to the computer. IPod recognizes when earphones are plugged and hold when deployed switch. Is the likely problem the headphone jack or a material issue of motherboard. I could try a correction to the earphone Jack, but a motherboard problem is a totally different animal. Would appreciate some advice from someone who had had the same problem and solved the problem.

I guess you've proven the headset with another device. Y at - it no suspicion of audio if you push the plug in one way or another? Who could confirm that it is just the plug that is damaged rather than anything else. The taken switch headphone jack Assembly is relatively cheap. I've done several outings permutation of these two classic battery of 5th and 6th gen. The hardest part is the case open but there are guides online that explain the steps.

  • iPod classic (7th generation), do not sync with iTunes on Windows 10

    Salvation;

My iPod classic (7th generation, 160 GB) is not synchronized with iTunes 12.3.2.35 (latest version) on Windows-10. It is synchronized before, but it suddenly stopped synchronization. The iTunes is to identify the iPod, but it is not sync. Also, all my other iPods (nano and classic) also show the same behavior. Help nicely, as it made all my outdated iPod. Thank you!

If the iPod appears in iTunes, select it (click on its button on the device on the horizontal bar) to show its settings screen in the iTunes window.  The side left (in the sidebar), under settings, click music.  Right, parameters of music on the iPod screen.

NOTE: All iPod songs that are not in your iTunes library (on the computer) will be lost.

If the box Sync music is not checked, check it.  This enables automatic synchronization.  If your library complete iTunes music can fit on the iPod, you can choose the option synchronize entire music library.  Then click apply.

If your library complete iTunes music does not fit on the iPod (or if you do not want to synchronize 'everything'), you can choose the option synchronize select playlists, artists, albums and genres.  Make your choice from the lists below.  For example, you can keep one or more playlists in your iTunes library, with songs that you want on the iPod.  Back on the settings screen of music from iPod, under playlists, search for and select (checkmark) these playlists.  After making your selections, click apply.

Further, iTunes syncs iPod "" with your library iTunes music (or the selected part) when you connect the iPod (or click sync , if already connected).

  • iPod Nano 6th generation of devices

I have an iPod Nano 6th generation. I would like to continue to use it to play music during the night while I SLEEP. I got an iHome unit, but who has just died. I have two conditions for a new device. The device must plug into a wall outlet and charge the iPod Nano.

Can someone suggest a new device?

There are two separate functions here.  Charging the iPod and speakers are active.  The iPod has two connectors for audio output and power, so do not force yourself to a single device.

Use a common USB adapter, (that plugs into the wall), as the type that comes with the iPhone or other device and standard USB cable to charge the battery of the iPod.  Connect common self-powered speakers, as the type that people use computers, making headphone iPod.  That is how I use my iPod touch on the bedside table.

  • New Ipod Touch (6th generation)... Brick!

New Ipod Touch (6th generation).  Right out of the box and as expected, another update Super bricks my new Ipod Touch.  My question is HOW?  And before you ask, YES everything has been updated to the latest version (itunes, Java, QuickTime, IE, Windows and other applications you can think of).  I purposely keep a copy of an older version of Itunes on an old laptop running because this is the only version that will recognize my Ipod when happen (both latest and Itunes).  Given zero has no effect.

When say you that the device is brick what is on the screen today? It does not force a reset? Try If your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch does not illuminate, If iTunes does not your iPad, iPhone or iPod , or If you cannot update or restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.

    See this note about QuickTime.

  • How can I erase all the files on my iPod Nano (6th generation) and start over?

I can sync is more manually all the files that I need on my iPod Nano (6th generation) to my Macbook (OS 10.6.8) because it is full.  Instead of delete folders and songs about the Nano, which would take forever, I'd rather delete it all and start by cleaning up the folder that I keep in my iTunes library (11.4), then by loading all on the Nano.

    How do I:

    (1) delete all music from the Nano?

    (2) see how many in the iPod folder in my iTunes library Macbook so I know what to remove?

I know this must be a simple process, but it's been a long time I did!  Thanks for any help out there.

When your iPod is connected to your MacBook, open iTunes, click on your iPod in the sidebar and in the 'Summary' tab, click 'Restore iPod.'

If you don't see the sidebar in iTunes, go to the view menu in the menu bar, and then click see the sidebar.

  • battery use is poor, cannot get 9 hours music (medium) 4 hours video and 2 hours internet radio before charging. It is defective, because it's new, or is it normal for an ipod touch 6th generation? I think sending him again.

Hi, I recently bought an apple ipod touch 6th generation, but the battery seems to be not as advertised.

I can't get 9 hours of music at a medium volume, 4 hours of video with youtube and internet radio is 1 to 2 hours at best.

My ipod is defective or not as advertised with autonomy. It is better to send return as defective or all contacts in like this apple ipod.

Not impressed by the autonomy at all.

    All advice welcome thanks.

You can make an appointment at your local apple store or service provider authorized and have them checked.

I know it's not perfect, but they sell so external batteries, you can connect your device to. Plus, they are very affordable.

  • iPod touch 6th generation will not be displayed in itunes

So I got an ipod touch 6th generation, brand new today. I have a bunch of songs on my computer I want to put on it, but the ipod will not be displayed in itunes.

I'm on Windows 10, the latest version of itunes and I tried to restart the ipod and the computer several times in order to put in place. I deleted the apple driver put it into every usb port, reset all warnings dialog, I reset the iPod and deleted everything and started around and still nothing.

I think that the problem lies in the fact that I was not prompted to trust the computer. I think I could have been, but the text was gone too fast so I don't know if I clicked on Yes or no. Does anyone have an idea what to do?
