  YYou can do multiple clips at once, or you can make one and copy and paste other attributes. It depends on the program, but usually video is rated in sequence by sequence, unless the shot is repeated.

• Looking for guidance, Clip Zip or Clip +.

  My beloved clip zip just died.  I thought to replace it with the new sport clip, but a check of the forums told me it would be disappointing to at least.  I use my zip primarily audio books and have an extensive library of books on several chips for my Zip.  As I wanted to replace the Zip file, I discovered that it seems to be abandoned.  I can find a little but they are twice what I paid initially for mine and if Sansa is not making more...  Anyway, it also seems the Clip + is still in production.  Can someone tell me, the Clip will be + play chips I put in place for the Zip.  That what I lose in the way?  You recommend staying with the Zip for as long as I can get a new one to last?  I started with a simple clip and improved because of the chip.  Albumn art and color are not important to me, but with success to listening to audio books without editing each track is.  I'm looking for advice from my fellow lovers of Zip.  Thank you

  That's the beautiful thing about the microSD - can exchange cards in and out, including between the actors (including the Clip + and Clip Zip).

• Move multiple clips at once

  I often have to spend several layers of clips or still images and keep their position relative to each other. In AE and PS I can select several layers and drag their position autour freely, but in Premiere Pro, I can just drag a layer at a time.  Rebound to EI is not a solution for me because what I'm working with needs to timed with multiple layers of audio at all times.  Nesting is not a solution for me because I have to be able to adapt to each layer independently as well.  This is a feature I would use (and not used in FCP) dozens of times every day!  I really need it.  No chance, it comes in a future update?

• Is it possible to have more than one source for multiple clips Panel?

  The process of creating, I want to be able to see several clips side by side, able to scrub forward and backward to see the 'weight' of the different scenes and not just imagine in my mind, how they will work together. If first Pro will not allow this, so is there another application, no bridge please allows you to align the viewing more of a clip? The only way I can think to do this right now is to put a clip on the timeline and display it on the program monitor and then discovers the other in the source Panel.

  Editors for years have worked through their material doing exactly this. Cutting basically in what works (and looks good) as they see it.

  The NLE was a revolution, because it allows publishers to drop and change a tool for editing anywhere, anytime in a non-linear way.   But it also allows to preview easily both sides to change, as well as a source by.

  Selection of take is usually a simple linear process (logging and selects) with perhaps a bit of trial and error in the timeline.

  Editing several scenes shot in parallel is probably best served by multicam mode.  FWIW... I edit multicam the old-fashioned way and use a video layer master scene and then overlay to senior securities in the source monitor.

  For this select the clips, right-click and choose Paste attributes.

  Hello everyone. I'm relatively new to the Organization in recent months. This is my first post to the forums and I can't wait to share it with the community more in the future. The issue seems enough person to me, but I was surprised that I was unable to find info in these forumsor nowhere else online. I have a video montage of 2 hours, I train. I used a portion of an audio clip in my calendar sequence stick somewhere and I use the rest of the clip elsehwhere in the collage. My question is: Y at - it a way to easily search the precise locations of the element used in the timeline in the project Panel or elsewhere?

  I was magnifying the timeline sequence and scroll down to the last hour of sequences manually find where I used the clip, but there must be a better way to locate the spots in a calendar I used the clip. Anyway is to look in the timeline for specific files? I use the first Pro CS5 5.0.2 version

• Is it possible to resize the image size for all clips at once?

  I have a video of music finished and when I export there is a black box around the video. I tried to put the exported file back in first and by resizing the area program, but when I exported the video became unstable. I could resize each item individually in the first original file, but it would obviously take a lot of time, so I was wondering if there is a way to select them all and resizing, or even another way to cut out the black bars (trying to size for youtube). Thanks for any help, it is much appreciated.

  Welcome to the forum.

  The best way to handle things is to choose a pre-defined sequence that matches your footage source of the layer at 100%.

  In light of the where you are now, you can go to your first Clip and adjust the fixed effect > Motion > adapted for her greatness. Then, Rt-click on it, choosing the copy. Now select all the other Clips (Lasso with the slider will work) and then Rt click, choose the attributes of the dough.

  CS5 offers a new tool to configure your sequence. Import your footage source of the layer, then select it in the project Panel, drag it to the new icon to get a corresponding sequence.

• Tip to make multiple clips at once?

  Apologies, everyone is requested recently - I did a quick search and could not find a relevant thread. I'm under first 7.2.1 and I know he can restore several sequences at a time because I did it before following a recent update. The only problem is that I can't find or remember how! Select several sequences in the project window, then clicking the corresponding order of 'Making' doesn't seem to work - first only restores previews of active sequences and then stops. Anyone know the trick?

  To clarify I am after the function make (red bits) previews of multiple calendars in a single batch in first, NOT how to export multiple sequences via SOUL. In other words if I have five sequences each including a large part of the material which have need rendering (AE links, filters stacked, etc.) I want to select all, rendering hit and come in the next morning with them all made and ready to play.

  You can export multiple items, but only return a sequence at a time.  It has always been like that.

  The best way to do it using "Automate to sequence" (bottom right of the project Panel) which will automate the abandonment in images and transitions. Just make sure that you have your configuration of pref image duration yet to what you want before importing and know they will all get automated in the sequence with the same duration (default).

  I tried to do this by using the search but it will find only them, if they occur as a long chain, that is to say "Here's the answer" rather than how they occur in the document it is to say "Here 's" a bunch of information that leads you to 'the answer'. The search feature so standard did not help.

  Then I tried to do this by using the tool to delete (obviously not the application of writing!) because it allows me to search for multiple words or phrases, however it is not highlight what page both are found. I tried to turn on the preference to enable deletions of comments and even if it meant that I could then go through all the comments, it's still not faster than my document is more than 1,000 pages, which meant there were too many total comments for me to be able to easily identify which page had both.

  Any ideas?

  There is no built-in way to search for two strings and limited to show only the results that appear on the same page.

  It can be done by using a custom script, however.

• Looking for set up the NI 9233 module, well through which bus?

  I'm a bit new to conducting analysis of vibration at high speed... I see a ton of information on the programming side of things software, although my main concern now is getting the correct 1st place material.

  Right now my apron for the acquisition of data consists of the following: 1) a main office or a laptop with a LabVIEWsoftware platform that integrates a live view of bench test-data acquisition & control, as well as analyses of multiple entries of aircraft during and after the test.  Joined this office/computer laptop peripheral multiples are the following:

  1) dedicated output options control & daq device with 2 semi-PLC data: a) medium... Data USB 1 sample per second... it is for read-only purposes, & b) CAN input/output... 10 samples per second output of data and allows a command input from the desktop/laptop via a CAN of NOR-8473 USB converter.

  (2) NI DAQ hardware entered via MAX configuration.

  My main concern is that I don't want to create a bottleneck for the input of vibration DAQ data.  If I'm looking for a sampling up to 5 000 samples per second max and 200 samples per second minimum for vibration analysis, will I be able to get this amount of data per second using the NI 9233 module through the USB configuration?  I have several USB devices connected to the desktop/laptop PC computer (such as the other USB DAQ modules input/output) will limit these the input of the speed of the NOR-9233 module?

  My next concern is to know how to set up my present VI during the execution taking all the entries data acquisition (which some 1-sample per second, others to 10 samples per second)... when I start taking at a sampling frequency of 5 kHz for the diagnosis of vibration, to, I just average on the other zeros that will be read from other devices?  And then I'll most likely need to add another temporal loop controlled to allow only once 4 / per second output outside remote so no timeout for this device.

  What would be more efficicent this setup for the 9233 module that I could use in a satisfactory manner?  USB, PXI, CRIO?

  Also, is the Sound & Vibration Analysis toolkit useful?  I didn't check yet but it it has a cost of deployment for each executable?

  I thiink you'll be suprrised with high speed USB features.  For example, when we went out first with CompactDAQ, we put 8 the 9233 modules in a chassis and down them to full (32 channels at 50kSA/sec).

  If you have a laptop dual core, with good USB 2.0 ports, you can use a port for the USB - CAN (which is relatively slower), the PLC is a slow sweep (100 Hz or more) and then a Compact DAQ chassis for all your stuff really high speed, you should be fine.

  It is difficult to reference without having the full application.  My experience suggests all data enter the PC will be the easy part.  How you manage and analyze the data will determine how much control you are able to do.
