Move multiple clips at once

I often have to spend several layers of clips or still images and keep their position relative to each other. In AE and PS I can select several layers and drag their position autour freely, but in Premiere Pro, I can just drag a layer at a time.  Rebound to EI is not a solution for me because what I'm working with needs to timed with multiple layers of audio at all times.  Nesting is not a solution for me because I have to be able to adapt to each layer independently as well.  This is a feature I would use (and not used in FCP) dozens of times every day!  I really need it.  No chance, it comes in a future update?

Hi Squidbillies,

This is a feature I would use (and not used in FCP) dozens of times every day!  I really need it.  No chance, it comes in a future update?

Don't really advertise us all the features that we plan for the future. Your request fits into the category of a feature request. Please make sure that you have here: http://www.adobe.com/go/wish

    Can move multiple clips together timeline of bin?  It is a technique of current edition, but I can only move a clip at a time.  Say it isn't so.

    The solution is right now not to take them in a locker, but rather, to create a new sequence and dump here to ensure the guard.

    This way you can keep all the effects have maybe applied you.

    Some of us asked the ability to save clips to the timeline for the project bins, but which has not yet been provided.

  • Move multiple clips

    Hey guys,.

    very basic question here.

    At one point in my calendar, all the following clips have an offset of Frame 2. I don't know how it happened, but I need to go right.

    How can I fix it without touching all of what follows, roughly 120 cuts?

    Hey,.

    You can move multiple clips using http://www.ircp-tools.com/

    Go to 'IRCP-beauty '. It is a timeline editor that allows you to touch several clips.

    See www.youtube.com/watch?v=taaHAggzJIc for a short video on this subject.

    I would like to know if it works for you.

  • Look for multiple clips at once

    Hey there,

    So, I would like to get this right. If I use the direct link from first to Speedgrade, there is no way to easily apply a glance to multiple clips other than the use of adjustment layers?
    I have pictures of different places all over my calendar, it would be a pain to create layers of adjustment for all the clips.
    Back when I was using apple color, I just select them and drag a look at the selection and the bam, done.
    Is it really not possible with Speedgrade?

    In short, no... you can not select multiple clips in Sg to the class at the same time or drop a glance on. There are ways to copy grades but they are all by the clip, with the exception of using adjustment layers. And Yes, the creation of adjustment on a bunch of clips spread layers is a royal pain. Feel free to fill a feature request of the possibility to select several clips... and discontiguous multiple clips... for the ranking in some sort of batch.

    I would like no end if it appeared within the programs.

    Currently, the two ways to do what you want is as above dummergold... Place the head on the clip you want to change, rest the mouse over the clip you want to copy from and click on 'C', or use the keypad 1-9 for copy/paste a grade.

    The other takes a little more ' splaining. The default guess of origin before the current clip (with head of reading about it). Count however many clips to the left that you want to use for your settings (up to 9) and using the keypad, click this number. So... If it's just the previous clip, you would click on the 1 on the numeric keypad. ALL the current standings will be replaced by what is on the clip you selected by entering your number and once again 1-9 clips before your currently selected clip.

    To reverse the process and choose a quality according to the item currently selected, you hold ALT first and then click on the sign '+' keypad to reverse the "default"... and then any number from 1 to 9, you hit on the pad will capture the rank of this clip, 1-9 after the currently displayed item, and drop this clip to replace all the existing settings. In order to work immediately after this clip for the shade desired put the playback head on a clip, hit the number 1-9...

    Back to grabbing the clip settings to before the item that is currently displayed, it's... ALT and the minus sign ' - '. Here again, the settings from that much before clips the clip ongoing hit 1a9 seizes.

    Once you get used to it, you can move along at a decent pace. Like you, I prefer to be able to skip the long however.

  • How you select/move multiple clips from one scenario to another?

    Has to do with the combination of several lists of Avid editing - required due to an issue with the names in double coil in the original film by Arri. I can move one at a time, but it is very tedious. Is it possible to select several clips and move them together?

  • Tip to make multiple clips at once?

    Apologies, everyone is requested recently - I did a quick search and could not find a relevant thread. I'm under first 7.2.1 and I know he can restore several sequences at a time because I did it before following a recent update. The only problem is that I can't find or remember how! Select several sequences in the project window, then clicking the corresponding order of 'Making' doesn't seem to work - first only restores previews of active sequences and then stops. Anyone know the trick?

    To clarify I am after the function make (red bits) previews of multiple calendars in a single batch in first, NOT how to export multiple sequences via SOUL. In other words if I have five sequences each including a large part of the material which have need rendering (AE links, filters stacked, etc.) I want to select all, rendering hit and come in the next morning with them all made and ready to play.

    Cheers and hope to all the world is to have a great start to the new year.

    You can export multiple items, but only return a sequence at a time.  It has always been like that.

    But I had to change like this:

  • Change the saturation, contrast, Equalizer for multiple clips

    Hello

    I've already cut my project.

    Now, all that's left to do is to correct the saturation, contrast + audio equalizer.

    I can't believe the only way to achieve this is by the clip.

    Thank you very much.

    YYou can do multiple clips at once, or you can make one and copy and paste other attributes. It depends on the program, but usually video is rated in sequence by sequence, unless the shot is repeated.

  • I can apply a transition to many clips at once?

    Hello

    I'm working on a project that has 60 photos, and I want to add a dip to black transition between each one. I would also like to make each seconds last photo 3 and updated nationwide to 120%.

    I know how to do it manually, but is there a way to apply it to multiple clips at once, instead of going one by one?

    Thank you very much

    Marco

    The best way to do it using "Automate to sequence" (bottom right of the project Panel) which will automate the abandonment in images and transitions. Just make sure that you have your configuration of pref image duration yet to what you want before importing and know they will all get automated in the sequence with the same duration (default).

  • Move a clip via the issue of key events.

    I have a project where I'm trying to move the clip: "wally", up and down three levels of a step.

    However, the default position I have him put down 120 pixels and 145 pixels.

    I want to limit this action to a single use, which means that if wally goes once its default position, he has to come down, and vice versa, if it breaks down must go back to the top (or stay at this level). Also, if it rises 145 pixels, it's going down 145 pixels, even if it breaks down 120 pixels, he needs to get back to the top of 120 pixels. I may be too think about it, because I had to strip the code of departure the other day and am at a loss, once more. If it would be easier done by moving with the arrow keys and the case statements, made me know, because I am confused.

    Starting code:

    stage.addEventListener (KeyboardEvent.KEY_DOWN, keyPressHandler1);

    function keyPressHandler1(event:KeyboardEvent):void

    {

    if(Event.keycode==38)

    {

    Wally.y-= 145;

    }

    another if (event.keyCode is 40)

    {

    Wally.y += 120;

    }

    }

    use:

    wally.startY = wally.y;

    stage.addEventListener (KeyboardEvent.KEY_DOWN, keyPressHandler1);

    function keyPressHandler1(event:KeyboardEvent):void

    {

    if(Event.keycode==38)

    {

    {if(Wally.y==Wally.startY)}

    Wally.y-= 145;

    } else {if(wally.y>wally.startY)

    Wally.y = Wally.startY

    }

    }

    another if (event.keyCode is 40)

    {

    {if(Wally.y==Wally.startY)}

    Wally.y += 120;

    } ElseIf (wally.y<>

    Wally.y = Wally.startY;

    }

    }

    }

    p.s. Please check the useful/correct.

  • Change the duration of multiple clips "as one" clip together?

    Here's my situation:

    I have a song to 127 BPM. I have a music video (muted) to 125 BPM.

    I spent a long time cut out excerpts of the video channels and muliple clips to form a chronology (but with a lot of clips and channels lined up).

    I now want to change the total length of the video clip to match the TEMPO of the song (which I should have done in the first place), but the video is, as noted earlier, sliced upward in mulitple clips in multiple channels. How do I change the duration of all the clips at the same time, where the end and the beginning of the clips still line up to eachother?

    It would be incredibly easy if there was a function non-breeders. Where can I nest multiple clips, change the duration and the UN - nest clips from clips of an overall duration slices changed. (Which is not possible. Yes, I can drag out of the nested charger clips, but the clips will still have the initial term).

    TL; DR: How can I change duration of multiple clips "as one" clip together?

    Never mind. I found an alternative solution. I used an expandable calculator at http://mp3.deepsound.net/eng/samples_calculs.php and time stretched all the clips to match the TEMPO of the song. Now I just need to break all the clips, which can be done one by one, but I found this trick to snap all clips at once: http://vimeo.com/27428526.

    I'll just let this thread remain open for each other with the same problem can find it

  • Remove the space between several clips at once, on the timeline?

    Is there a way to delete the space between multiple clips on the timeline in one click?

    I adjust clips on the timeline, so I can have a few hundreds of clips with a space between the timeline.  Is there a way to delete all spaces between the clips at once?

    Now, I have the ripple delete space between each clip, big hassle and a lot of key strokes. Is there a faster way to adjust the clips in general?  Or remove spaces in the timeline?

  • Make a movie with clips of 1080 and 4 k sources

    Hi all

    If I do a movie with clips of 1080 p sources (like my iPhone 6) and 4 k sources (like my GoPro) I'll still be able to export the animation to quality 4 k? Is there something specific I need to do to keep export k 4 option in iMovie available i.e. the order I add clips in the project, etc.? Will be 1080 p "blasts upward" clips at 4 k resolution?

    Thank you for your help.

    Miles

    10.1.2 iMovie will use the size of the first element that you add to your project to determine the format of the exported movie.

    See Help: http://help.apple.com/imovie/mac/10.1/#/move6ccb3330

    The resolution and the frame rate of your movie project are determined by the first clip you add to the timeline. iMovie now supports 4 K video and image rates at 30 frames per second (fps). If you want your project to be set at 4K resolution, the first clip you add to the timeline should be a clip of 4K. If you want your project to be set to 60 fps, the first clip you add to the timeline should be a clip of 60 frames per second.

    When I opened display all bookmarks, I have a long list of tags - although I'm not there. The only way I found to remove is one at a time. Is it possible to remove multiple tags at once?

    Have you tried to select the main tags folder in the left pane of the library and select several or all the tags in the right pane?

    You can remove all of the tags selected via the context menu.
