Looking for 11 JDev ADF Faces example with several filters

I am looking for an Internet example ADF Faces application that has the following text:

Several combo boxes (LOVs) - some who invites just for a date range. These could as well be cascade.

Finally a run button that runs a query based on the values of the drop-down list boxes in bind variable, then displays the results under the filters in a table.

It sounds easy enough, but I have not found an example of this. Can someone point me in the right direction? I tried to create a quick example on the EMP table with a combobox to date that I could use to date of hire. I can't get this to work with links to view the results of the table well. I don't know how the code for the event to run the query and create the table.

Thank you, Ken

Hello

even if we would work 24 hours a day 7 days a week. At the end of the year we would miss still some usecases as examples. How to do what you want

-Drag the table
-Drag the execute with params as a parameter
-remove the attribute hiring date
-Drag the variable of the hiring date linking (I think I would use a component date.) MinValue instead of a selectBox date). However, do not hesitate to choose a selectOneChoice component. In the link dialog box, create a reference to a VO list to fill the selectOneChoice (must be located a VO you query the target)
-Similar to all others

By pressing the button send the form parameter will execute the query

  • 11gR2.3 JDev/ADF Faces: the Shell of the user interface, how to disable scrollbars of the logo

    I put a logo in the header by using the attribute UI Shell model property "logoImagePath". During execution of the page, I notice that if I resize the width of the browser to a value less then the width of the image, horizontally and scroll bars vertical appear. This is not desirable, and I'm looking for a way to disable the scroll bars. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

    Thank you
    Wes

    I guess for this, you must edit the template. I don't have the shell ui at hand model but I think that the image is child of a scrolling type panelgroupLayout. When the browser window is resized below the width or the height of the Panel group you get the scroll bars. To change this, you will need to remove the panelGroupLayout and just use a group.

  • Looking for a case that is compatible with a HD from Hitachi for a 2006-2008 Blackbook.

    Hi all

    I have an old hard drive Hitachi to a Macbook black circa 2006-2008 (it was my mom of not sure of the exact year). I've been carting this thing around for years and is trying to find a hard drive enclosure that is compatible.

    The drive is a Hitachi HTS541616J9SA00, 160GB, 2.5 "9.5 mm. Image:

    Unfortunately, the SATA connections are at the bottom of the case, and it seems that the only way to adapt the connections the hard drive would eventually remove the metal casing of the drive all about. I found an image of it here:

    Hello.

    Timo's right. For ADF 12 c, you need 12 c WLS. That's because ADF 12 c is built on top of Java EE 6; WLS 11 g implements Java EE 5 only.

    Just get one of these systems and research if anyone else have one of these systems and want share their experiennce?

    The two GPU appear as discrete units in Device Manager, even before you install the AMD drivers. Once you install the AMD Catalyst Suite, Crossfire is enabled/disabled in the center of control of AMD, as well as various other configuration options.

    A question, as I have said in my original post - I had to disable Ultra Low Power State (ULPS). It is a part of the AMD Catalyst driver that is not well optimized for Crossfire configurations and instead to reduce the consumption of energy on two cards, it tends to force one that runs at full clock speed or 99% people whatever the load, which is obviously not good. A small utility to turn off ULPS is here: http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/316913-ulps-ultra-low-power-state-disable-amd-crossfirex.html . He cured the problem for me.

  • Looking for hosting companies with web form processing scripts

    I'm a beginner when it comes to creating web pages.  I have created a website for the first time and am looking for a Web host that can provide the form processing scripts.  I'll try HostGator, but when I asked about it on their online chat, the lady who answered said that they do not have what I was looking for.  Due to technical difficulties with their online chat program, I don't have a chance to ask follow-up questions, but I had the impression that the Lady, that I was talking knew what she was talking about.

    I would ask here.  It is my understanding that if you have forms on your website, you need form processing scripts to run.  Can you name of hosts which can give them?  Is this something that most web hosting companies can normally provide?  Are there any that you would recommend for someone like me who will use forms on their web site?

    I think your priorities for web hosting should be based on other more important criteria - availability, services, space and affordability.

    Canned scripts are a secondary issue.  Practice for beginners, Yes.  But generally UN os without any room for customization.

  • ADF FACES - JAVA SCRIPT-LINKS

    Hi all

    I am facing the following problem using ADF Faces and with Java script

    What I need to do... i read a string in a 'list' in a JSP page that is in the sesion (I did), then I need to print as many links with the name of the list items.
    For example, if my list have the values {'value1', 'Value2', "Value3"} I have to print the following links

    VALUE1
    VALUE2
    VALUE3, which are the names to read from the list

    But I can not

    I did the following... within the JSP

    < % @ page import="mx.com.uaem.htb.sspoc.portal.Util"% >
    < % @ page import="java.util.List"% >
    < % @ page import="java.util.ArrayList"% >
    < %
    System.out.println ("Dentro JSP");
    List < String > myList = (list) Util.getSessionMapValue ("myListRef");
    for (int i = 0; i < myList.size (); i ++) {}
    System.out.println (myList.get (i));
    % >
    < % - Código HTML-% >
    < af:commandLink text = "< = i % value % >"
    action = "#{mostrarResultado1.mostrarReferencia}" / >

    < af:commandLink text = ' value #{i} ".
    action = "#{mostrarResultado1.mostrarReferencia}" / >
    < %} % > This IS THE END OF THE LOOP

    Here, I'm just trying to print the value of the 'I' variable (0,1,2)
    And I got 3 links (as expected), but I don't see the value of the variable i

    The problem here is that I don't see in the adf faces tag (for example the < ad: commandLink...) a variable that has been declared in the block of <>% Java, I mean... I don't see the i and the myList.

    Can someone help me?
    I tried many options... but I can't

    Thanks in advance

    Use the af:foreach tag - you shouldn't write Java scriptlets in your JSF.

  • How to redirect to another page Using JavaScript in ADF Faces?

    Hi guys,.

    I have a case of user UI that has an af:menu which contains mutiple af:goMenuItem. When the user clicks on the menu, the menu slides down and the af: goMenuItem presents itself. As we know, you can set page destinations in af:goMenuItem to go to another page when the user has clicked, but af:menu itself cannot be redirected to another page. Well, the case of the user wants the menu itself could be redirected if the user clicks on it.

    So I think that the use of JavaScript to do this: when you click on the af: menu, redirect to another page. BUT, I've looked over the ADF Faces Javascript API and wasn't able to find this piece of code to do this. Any help?

    Another work around to the user scenario is to use the brands of HTML + CSS/JavaScript instead of af: menu and af:goMenuItem, but this changes the scope of the technology although it is not hard to do

    Any other idea to make the case of the user other than what I could think?

    Thank you guys!

    Jay

    Hello

    1. you can have a control hidden element to the navigation based on a case of control flow. In this case, you access the JavaScript command component create a new ActionEvent and he queued
    2 - JavaScript can use an af:serverListener to call a server side managed bean method to perform the navigation

    There is no JavaScript API for navigation in ADF Faces because navigation in JavaServer Faces is an event-driven framework and we do not support the developers of fight against the framework.

    How can I update the application?

    As far as I know, you cannot run JDev 11.1.1.3 ADF applications on WLS 10.3.1 - you must upgrade to WebLogic 10.3.3 first.

  • Cumulative total for each day - how to deal with nulls

    I'm on 11.2.0.3.  I want to write a query to calculate a running total of the incidents a day - this request will be used for an APEX line chart.

    Sample table and data:

    create table sales (
      id number primary key,
      time_of_sale date,
      item varchar2(20));

    insert into sales values (1, to_date('02-JAN-2013','DD-MON-YYYY'), 'book');
    insert into sales values (2, to_date('03-JAN-2013','DD-MON-YYYY'), 'candle');
    insert into sales values (3, to_date('05-JAN-2013','DD-MON-YYYY'), 'bicycle');
    insert into sales values (4, to_date('05-JAN-2013','DD-MON-YYYY'), 'football');
    insert into sales values (5, to_date('07-JAN-2013','DD-MON-YYYY'), 'football');
    insert into sales values (6, to_date('10-JAN-2013','DD-MON-YYYY'), 'elephant');
    insert into sales values (7, to_date('10-JAN-2013','DD-MON-YYYY'), 'turtle');
    insert into sales values (8, to_date('10-JAN-2013','DD-MON-YYYY'), 'book');
    insert into sales values (9, to_date('10-JAN-2013','DD-MON-YYYY'), 'candle');
    insert into sales values (10, to_date('10-JAN-2013','DD-MON-YYYY'), 'bicycle');
    commit;

    For each of the days between 1 January and 10 Jan I want to get the total functioning of the number of sales.

    So the output l would like is:

    DAY ITEMS_PER_DAY

    --------- -------------

    1ST JANUARY 13 0

    JANUARY 2, 13 1

    JANUARY 3, 13 2

    JANUARY 4, 13 2

    5 JANUARY 13 4

    JANUARY 6, 13 4

    JANUARY 7, 13 5

    JANUARY 8, 13 5

    JANUARY 9, 13 5

    10 JANUARY 13 10

    So even if there is no sale on January 4, we show the total of the previous day.

    If I can create a series of dates using the:

    select trunc((to_date('01-JAN-2013','DD-MON-YYYY')-1) + rownum) day
    from dual
    connect by rownum <= 10

    And I can't the cumulative aid total:

    select trunc(time_of_sale) as day, sum(count(*)) over (order by trunc(time_of_sale)) as items_per_day
    from sales
    group by trunc(time_of_sale)

    Overall, it gives me:

    SQL > select

    2 a.day as the day,

    3 b.items_per_day

    4 of

    5 (select trunc((to_date('01-JAN-2013','DD-MON-YYYY')-1) + rownum) as day

    6 double

    7 plug by rownum < = 10).

    8 (select trunc (time_of_sale) day, sum (count (*)) (trunc (time_of_sale) order) as items_per_day

    9 sales

    10 group by trunc (time_of_sale)) b

    11 where a.day = b.day [+] - replace by parentheses to avoid the formatting of the forum

    12 order by a.day

    13.

    DAY ITEMS_PER_DAY

    --------- -------------

    1st January 13 null

    JANUARY 2, 13 1

    JANUARY 3, 13 2

    Value null 4 January 13

    5 JANUARY 13 4

    Value null January 6, 13

    JANUARY 7, 13 5

    Value null January 8, 13

    Value null January 9, 13

    10 JANUARY 13 10

    It's not exactly what I'm looking for.  I played a bit with a lag, but had no success.

    Any ideas?

    Thank you

    John

    Hi, John,.

    You want to do the SUM after the outer join, like this:

    WITH days_wanted AS

    (

    SELECT TO_DATE (January 1, 2013 ', 'DD-MON-YYYY') + ROWNUM - 1 day YOU

    OF the double

    CONNECT BY ROWNUM<=>

    )

    SELECT d.day

    SUM (COUNT (s.id)) OVER (ORDER BY d.day) AS items_to_date

    OF days_wanted d

    S sale LEFT OUTER JOIN ON TRUNC (s.time_of_sale) = d.day

    GROUP BY d.day

    ORDER BY d.day

    ;

    Note that we must use COUNT (s.id) instead of COUNT (*) here, because, given that it is evaluated once the outer join, COUNT (*) would be taken into account less than $ 1 a day, because the outer join ensures there will be at least 1 row in the game for each row in days_wanted, whether or not it matches anything in sales.

    It wouldn't work using the old join syntax, too, but I suggest to use the ANSI syntax, especially for outer joins.  It reduces the amount and the complexity of the coding, and which allows to reduce the number of errors.  (Also, it avoids the problem of the display of this site.)

    I am a student in wildlife biology and I use Adobe Photoshop to quantify the color of wild animals. I'm looking for someone who can help me with a java script.

    The script automatizes selection of random point in an image and gives a color average points.

    I need the script to do more than two things for me:

    1. save the RGB values of random points in a spreadsheet I can calculate error Ratings or provide the error as well as the RGB average.

    2 randomly select points in a highlighted in the photo area (now he selects at random points across the image, but I need to select only from the animal (not the bottom).

    If you know how to add these to the script, please let me know.

    Thank you

    Marketa Zimova

    With the script below you operate a rough selection of the area you want to be sampled, and then run the script. He'll ask how many samples to be taken, the size of each sample in px area. He then dupes the selection into a new layer, turns off the original layer and taking samples. If the random sample is in a transparent area, she tries again. If it finds a color, he invites the position and color of the sample and you ask if you want to keep this sample. When the requested number of approved samples he writes a csv file in the office.

    The selection can be done with all the methods of selection and does not need to be specific to. But the better the selection less background samples will be made.

    // script expects an open single layer document in RGB mode with a selection of the area to sample.
    // the csv file is written to the desktop and the script will overwrite an existing samples.csv
