Looking for a product key for a clean install of Windows 7 on a material with a digital product key (DPK)?

My usual corporate scenario when configuring new hardware is to receive the material, and then replace the image of stock with an image customized using MDT. After installation I change the product key in the product key valid for this hardware/operating system and then activate.

My most recent material (Lenovo Thinkpad of T430 (2342-6FU)) comes pre-installed with Windows 7, but allows the upgrade to Windows 8. In line with new hardware in Windows 8, there is no certificate of authenticity (COA) on the material, or in the documentation. The product key is in the form of a digital product (DPK) in the UEFI WOOD key.

My question is its form the simplest is, "where can I get access to a product key for Windows 7 given this scenario?" He has been on the COA, now it is not.

I think that it is a valid usage scenario. I bought the license and install a custom image with the same bits as I have a license. I think I understand that if I install Windows 8, it would be aware of the DPK and active accordingly, but Windows 7, AFAIK, is unaware of the DPK and requires a key of product entry manually in a way any.

Use a locator product keys to retrieve the product key.

Here are four utilities, which can display your product keys if they are still there:

  • What drivers to download for a clean install of Windows 7?

I'm working on a clean install of Windows 7 Enterprise SP1 on my HP Pavilion computer of bureau a6600f (originally there was Vista, now he has Windows 7 Ultimate). The machine is stable but really slow.

If I want to download the drivers and others, which is here. But I don't really know what are those who... just do each of them?

and then after installing Windows 7, I have just install these one by one?

Here are the specifications of your desktop HP Pavilion a6600f. Based on the specifications, this model uses a nVidia Chipset nVidia Graphics, nVidia Network and Realtek HD Audio. If you have already done, I would update the BIOS first. I skip the installation of the HP drivers and go directly to the sites of the manufacturer for the latest drivers chipset.

I think that your 'slowness' is due to the entry level Pentium E2200 CPU and only 3 GB of RAM. Consider one of the better microprocessors on the list and the upgrade to 4 GB RAM HP.

  • Clean install of Windows 7 - partitioning and formatting with a new drive

I tried two installs with Windows 7 Ultimate edition.  The first is a straight out of the box and installed in a laptop SATA drive.  Windows 7 has created two partitions, a small partition of specific recovery and system information, and another large partition to install Windows 7 software.  It is very good.

Then I tried a new installation formattiing the reader as one big partition.  Windows 7 does not divide the disk into two partitions, only one on which the software of Windows 7 has been installed.

The question: how it installs a Windows 7 for the two partitions on a formatted drive?  Delete the existing partition and then start installation?

    Hello Askit,

When you install Windows 7, the installation program will by default create a partition of 100 MB with the Windows partition system. The system partition is created to meet a requirement of Bitlocker startup files and Windows files are found on separate partitions.

When boot you from the DVD to perform a clean installation of Windows 7, the installation program will create the 100 MB system partition in the following conditions:

    • There is not a partition system on the machine
    • The system does not have 3 existing partitions
    • There is space on the disk for the extra partition

In response to your question, Yes, the best way to get these partitions is to delete the partition and let the windows to their creation.

    I hope this helps.

    Thank you

I stumbled upon your post on the laptop and wanted to help you! I looked in on your HP ENVY 17 t-j000 Notebook and your issues with HP Recovery Manager. If she has deleted this partition completely, you will need to use your recovery CD or USB key you created when you bought your laptop. Here is a link to use the HP Recovery Manager.

  • Network driver for a clean install of Windows 7 on HP Pavilion 15-n228us

I need Windows 7 on my new HP Pavilion 15 - n228us that came pre-installed with Windows 8.1.

I bought a stand-alone copy of Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit. It installed fine (once I figured out how to turn an inherited run from the bios Installer).

I am missing the drivers. First of all, I want to get wireless upward and running to facilitate the search for other drivers. I think it's "network controller" in Device Manager.

So I'm going to the device, other devices Manager, controller network, properties, Details tab.

Here's what I see to a hardware ID:

    PCI\VEN_10EC & DEV_8179 & SUBSYS_197D103C & REV_01

    PCI\VEN_10EC & DEV_8179 & SUBSYS_197D103C

    PCI\VEN_10EC & DEV_8179 & CC_028000

    PCI\VEN_10EC & DEV_8179 & CC_0280

I searched and tried the two HP files called sp52212.exe and sp64202.exe. Neither the driver installed successfully.

    What Miss me?

Don't know what's happening, you do not give a lot of information, but if you have the constant beachballing (spinning wait cursor), which could mean that the hard drive is dying.

Open Console.app in Applications > utilities. Filter, called "String Matching," right, high enter "I/o" without the quotes. What happens when you do this?

  • Execution of format or clean install on Windows 7 without product key

    Hello!

I need to do a clean install/format to old PC which came with Win 7 Enterprise already installed. Unfortunately, I don't have the product key more (I think it was written on a single DVD supplied with the PC, but I can't find this disc more). I tried the key with Magical Jelly Bean Keyfinder, but it says that the cd key is BATH-BATH-BATH-BATH-BATH - This is not normal. Is there a way to reinstall/refresh version of Windows 7 if I don't have the product key more?

    Thank you

    Janek

Windows 7 Enterprise volume license customer and is only available for companies to large companies that have a valid volume license agreement. This means, it is intended for the employer that you deploy.

You must reinstall the original copy of Windows that came with your computer.

Check on the chassis of the machine for a certificate of authenticity detailing the version and edition of Windows initially supplied with your computer and reinstall that version.

If its an edition of Windows 7, see the following:

  • A clean install of Windows 7 x 64 takes forever to search for updates

Don't know why, but the update takes forever to search on a clean install of windows. I made a lot of clean installations of Windows 7 before, but never had a problem with the receipt of the updates. But this time, it just doesn't go as far in receiving updates.

I don't have any firewall or antivirus programs installed on this system. Just new installation of windows 7. Tried the pro versions and at the same time with the same result.

  • Can I use my Windows 7 Edition recovery disks Home Premium for a clean install on my old Windows XP computer?

Hello world!  I hope someone can help.

Can I use my Windows 7 Edition recovery disks Home Premium for a clean install on my old Windows XP computer?

If this is a recovery from a different computer disk, you are unable to do so.

In addition, if you were to format the computer, you will need to have a way to reinstall a copy of Windows with a genuine license.

The best option if you need Windows 7 Home Premium is to buy a genuine license then you can make a custom (new installation).

Where can I still get Windows 7?
