  I'm actually trying to figure out how I can find the email for my eprinting between my HP Officejet Pro 8600 and my Android II. I downloaded the eprint through market software on my android and I checked everything on the menu on my printer for the e-mail, and I can't seem to find an email address. I'm confused. I saw your posts and I'm not finding what I need. Can you help me? Thank you!

  Hi rlwrites4u,

  Try to find the menu "Web Services" or "Menu of the Web". Once you find this menu if you have already activated it before it will ask you to activate the web services, then it will print a page "info" with the steps to set up the email address of your printer. If you don't get invited to enable web services once in the "web" menu, then look for the option "Print a Page of Info". The page may take a few minutes before it prints but after that just follow the steps that it prints.

• Build HA project - looking for feedback

  Hello. I need to test the response of our software to a host failover high availability in a vSphere environment. We do not currently have the equipment or the necessary licenses to test this workflow, so I'm looking for an overview acceptance or rejection of the next generation. Any thoughts are appreciated.

  Our software:

  We have a two server configuration (A and B) with each server that holds a mirrored to a proprietary database stored on a raw partition. These servers run on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5/6. Customers and various demons are balanced on these servers.

  If one server dies, the survivor of the system reconfigures to balance the load of the customer. It works very well in stand-alone virtual environments, but we have to see what happens if A is on VMHost 1, B is on 2 VMHost, one of host channels and the prompt automatically skip to the other host.

  Construction project:

  • One license for VMware vSphere Essentials Plus Kit.
    
    • The kit more essentials offers vSphere Storage Appliance. This device would be used for a store of data mirrored on two hosts.
      
  • Two Dell PowerEdge T320 towers, each of which contains:
    
    • 64 GB OF RAM
      
    • 1 processor (6 core Xeon E5-2430)
      
    • 3 TB RAID6 with PERC H710p RAID controller
      

  Guests:

  • Host 1 hosts our server A and several other independent auxiliaries/utility servers.
    
  • Host 2 hosts our server B and several other independent auxiliaries/utility servers.
    

  Goals:

  • Determine how our software reacts in general in a failover scenario, where 1 host dies and comments automatically reassigns on host 2.
    
  • Determine if our local databases are mirrored if no disconnection is detected (30-60 seconds of non-contact).
    

  Issues related to the:

  • A single VMware vSphere Essentials Plus Kit offer all the necessary licenses and the appropriations allocated for this test?
    
  • The proposed material is acceptable?
    

  Ask you questions about the specifications of equipment for the production or test?

  You can also make the HA using VMware workstation tests, and some nested ESXi hosts (all in eval mode). I have this setup at home using VMware workstation 8, 5 x servers (60 days trial license) virtual ESXi and vCenter Server apparatus or else a Win2k8 server with vCenter installed (my preference). The entire Setup is running on standard HP media computer with 16 GB of RAM and I also use NFS on my NAS for shared storage. Maybe the server files open or something else might work for you?

  Hi all! First time poster here.

  It's finally time I put together a new video editing PC. my current is from early 2012, and it's definitely showing its age (cost about $1200 at the time). Here is the parts that I chose after extensive research, but I was expecting a feedback (or hopefully, confirmation) when it comes to a balanced system. I'll mainly be video from a C100 and 5 3 edition, so no 4 K (yet), but I want something that will last me a few years of publishing. My current level of use floats somewhere between hobby and side business, but I hope to edit more as time passes.

  Project/media player will only be used at home for projects that are currently active. everything will be saved and archived on a device NAS Synology DS415 + connected to my network servant gigabit. I'm going to be creating that at the same time that this build; due to financial constraints, I will start with either one alone 4 TB WD drive red or two of them during a RAID in mirror, but hope to add more soon!

  CPU cooler: take a look at the Noctua NH - D14, D15 - NH or Phanteks-PH-TC14PE

  thermal paste: switch to something that is not conductive and does not have 200 hours to turn on completely.

  There are a lot of compounds of coolermaster, artic and tuniq to name a few.

  motherboard: asus or gigabyte, make sure it has the features you need.

  storage: move to the PRO samsung series 850 or intel 730 480 GB. If planning on the Raid in the future to go with the intel 730 480 Go.

  GPU: pass the 980 to the 970 gtx gtx. the price of the performance does not justify the gtx 980.

  case: move to something with 140 mm fan options, like Fractal Design refine R5.

  power supply: If do an overlock considers going to 1000 watts or more.

  OS: windows 8 looks like a joke and was made for tablets or noobs in microsofts lyrics, it is better under the hood and its possible to use programs such as the classic interface or debut8 to make it look like win7.

  This problem is caused by a defective unit or a device driver. Visit the website of the manufacturer of your computer or see if AMd drivers directly will work for your hardware configuration and then uninstall and reinstall your drivers.

  It is a possibility that a third-party application is causing the conflict with Skype. We can perform the clean boot troubleshooting and check which program is causing the conflict.

• mirroring AirPlay look for apple tv

  Since the iOS 10 update on iPhone and iPad, it seems that I can't find my AirPort Express for streaming music on my stereo.  When I click on AirPlay Mirroring it only looks for AppleTV and never find my Express.  Someone else has a similar problem?  Is there another setting I'm missing?

  When I'm in the Spotify application, there is a button for devices and this app can find the Express (on iOS 10), but my SiriusXM app doesn't have this same feature.

  AirPlay Mirroring and AirPlay streaming are two different things. With iOS 10, AirPlay Mirroring is accessible via the control panel. AirPlay Streaming has been integrated in the music app.

  Apple provides a free user guide to help users to familiarize themselves with the features of the new version of the iOS.

• Problems with three fingers looking for preview

  Hi all

  So I've upgraded to Mac OS Sierra the other night and it was absolutely great so far. However, there is a feature I noticed is either absent, either turned somewhere off the coast, and it is three fingers look upward in the preview. I'm at school and do a lot of my reading on a PDF in preview, and yes I just came across a few words that I don't know the definitions to. In the past, three fingers look has been one of the best features for its quick access to definitions. This is something I really miss and hope that it will be always possible somehow.

  Now, I noticed that it only worked in other applications as well, I went to settings and looked for the feature. I was able to find it in the settings of the Trackpad and he turned his back. That seems to have worked for just about every other app except Preview. If anyone has solutions to this problem, I'm all ears!

  It works for me in preview. However, it took several 3 finger taps to finally get the context menu with 'Look Up' inside to provide the result below.

  Don't know what's happening, you do not give a lot of information, but if you have the constant beachballing (spinning wait cursor), which could mean that the hard drive is dying.

  Open Console.app in Applications > utilities. Filter, called "String Matching," right, high enter "I/o" without the quotes. What happens when you do this?
