  Pretty much no matter what x 86 new PC with MS Windows (7 or 8.1) will run FM with an adequate return. Get at least 8 GB of RAM, because why not.

  What you might want to recommend beyond the workload depends on target and on budget.

  For the work of pure speech, the monitor can be key and the involvement of the PC graphics. I've recently updated the 2560 x 1440 resolution so that I can see a full-page letter of text readable in portrait mode. Most of the PC graphics today can support this resolution on DisplayPort, possibly with issues of cable to the DVI - D and HDMI. Go to a higher resolution would be nicer, like '4K' (3840 x 2160) monitors are on the market, but then the graphics card/port could become a problem.

  You may, or may not even need a dedicated card graph. Integrated graphics AMD has more performance, and I think the same is true for Nvidia. I would avoid the Intel integrated graphics card. Integrated anyone can have a low res vs a max card. The APU of A10 AMD I use has fabulous performance, but does not go above 2560 x 1440.

  Due to persistent problems with legacy raster content on Windows (fixed icons and screen fonts), choose a larger diagonal size for higher screen resolutions. Target keeping the density in the range of 90-110 ppi. Yes, that means a really big monitor 1440, as 27 to 32 inches. Fortunately, these are extremely cheap in historical perspective.

  Using a hard drive solid state disk (SSD) instead of a rusty legacy rotation greatly enhances the experience user, and output speed will make time and page navigation when a lot of high-resolution graphic images is in the document.

  If the job goes beyond words and involves color images, the spaces of target color and color management issues. This might suggest an IPS monitor or GOING with more capacity of the sRGB color space and supporting calibration, LED back-lit of course.

  If the work involves materials of source CAD, the PC may have to be certified by Autodesk or PTC, configuration and it's apt ask a 'professional' graphics card or port certified.

  To adjust the font size for the user interface, you can use the extension of theme font & size changer .

• Looking for a helmet system with double docks rechargeable wireless

  I am looking for a very specific product and I was wondering if anyone knows a product that will do the trick.

  I want a system of wireless headphones wireless with a loading for each helmet Bay. Transmitter should accept level line of double RCA Records. I would have preferred a 900 mhz transmitter, but IR is acceptable. The system should come with two headsets, or there should be a system with transmitter/headphones with the possibility to add a loading dock and an additional heaset.

  My old system was a Sony which is at his last breath, and I found a replacement for another manufacturer with two headsets, but it lacks the loading docks - connect the heaset in the transmitter and the two heasets cannot be pursued at the time. In addition, the manufacturer says not charging headphones for more than 24 hours or you may damage the battery.

  Anyone know if Sony or someone else does what I want?

  The Sandy Bridge chipset and latest machines do.

  T420 T420s, T430, T430, T520, T530, etc..

  The main Bay and Ultrabay only.  The mSATA slot is SATA II 3 GB speed.

  There are 3rd party registry cleaners that erasing entries that lead anywhere as far as I KNOW, he didn't y no utility that can guess what program can use the registry and entry is missing.

• 3 year system - looking for recommendations of upgrade

  Hi all

  Instant Messaging user a CC now and work on a system I built 3 years ago.  I realized that this version was not a wise version, but I'm stuck with all the components and trying to see what I can do to get the most out there without having to replace my MOBO or CPU.  I use almost everything what offers the CC (PS, I, ID, PR, AR, at, LR, DW, Grade speed and facilitate dashboard).  I'm also the Creative Director and a Solutions support person for my business so I use this platform for more than a few Adobe apps (but none are as intensive process as well as the Adobe applications).

  The system is:

  • OS: Windows 8.1 (64-bit)
  • Mobo: Asus Z9PE-D8 WS
  • CPU: Intel (r) Dual Xeon CPU E5-2670 0 to 2.60 GHz, 2601 Mhz, 8 Lossnay, 16 logical processors
  • RAM: 64 GB (32 per CPU)
  • GPU: Maximus Configuration using a Quadro 4000 + Tesla C2075.  Also added a Quadro K2000 at a later date to add an outing for a 3rd monitor.

  For hard disks:

  • Samsung 830 (500 GB) for OS + Apps
  • 1 WD 1 TB Raptor drive for Lightroom files
  • 1 WD 1 TB Raptor drive for caching
  • 1 WD 1 TB Raptor Drive for previews
  • 2 WD 1 TB Raptor drive in Raid 0 for all media files using the Marvell controller mobo

  All housed in a casing Cooler Master Cosmos II and a 1300 watt Antec HCP Platinum PSU.

  I sure I went over to this system but to reinvest on a motherboard + processor is not my intention immediately.  I feel that my system does not balanced correctly in order to give me the performance, I'm looking for.   Maybe its to use the integrated Marvell controller?  I'm not sure.  However I like to swap my HARD drives or to add a Raid Controller or Exchange my GPU with the Titans (or something that will make this quick platform).

  All recommendations are much appreciated.

  Your CPU / RAM do an outstanding job.  My suggestion is to get a large GTX graphic card and go with SSD on your storage system. Here you two points of weakness

• Firefox keeps looking for updates when the new tab open.

  I'm under the latest version of Firefox (40.0.3) with adblocker more like my single addon. However whenever I try to open a new tab it take ages to open because Firefox is constantly looking for an update. It takes 2-3 minutes each time. Did you try refreshing Firefox, uninstall and reinstall without success. My system is 8.1 Win on a Lenovo PC i7. Everything worked well until the last FF update. I have no problem with the same version installed on my laptop.
