  -1 x data centre in each site consisting of 7 virtual servers.

  -2 x without in each site used for the storage of virtual servers.

  -1 x vSphere server as a virtual one in the Sydney VMware datacenter.

  Melbourne and the Malaysia:

  -7 x VMware hosts in LOT of site running VMware 5.1.

  -2 hosts of x VMware in the site of MEL running VMware 5.1.

  -1 x data centre in each site.

  -2 x without in each site used for the storage of virtual servers.

  -1 x server as a virtual in the datacentre HURT VMware vSphere.

  So my point here is that the new VMware farm, we put in Melbourne a 2 x VMware hosts the site of MEL, but the server vSphere located in the WRONG site.

  I intend to do the conversions P2V physical server on the site of MEL and the target will be the new VMware 5.1 farm in Melbourne. I am in the process of test and found that a server below P2V takes about 14 hours:

  * HP BL685 G1 server in pregnant C700.

  C drive is 136 GB.

  D drive is 300 GB.

  E-drive is 2150GB.

  The conversion rates for each of the drives is:

  C drive: 54 min

  D drive: 120 min

  E drive: 18 hours (actually it always works as I type but ETA is 6 p.m. everything!)

  So my question is, with the vSphere server being in another country, Malaysia, where the PING of Melbourne times are approximately 120ms, is why it takes so long to convert a machine?

  The data are intended for the physical server directly in managing vNIC on the virtual machine host.  It is not bouncing through the server Vcenter, so I don't think that plays a role in the exercise (or lack thereof).

  You can watch this thread.   VMware has added a default SSL Vmware Converter from v5.0 encryption.   Apparently, you can get a speed boost by disabling it if you do not need encryption.  Considering that we usually talk LAN to LAN traffic, I think it's probably safe for most to disable.

  In my opinion, you should contact the Service partner and ask them what a memory module is compatible with your laptop. I found that PC100 128 MB (PA3005U) is certainly usable for Tecra 8000.

  Please be careful because all modules may not be recognized by BIOS correctly.

  It is possible that 256 MB RAM PA3069U - 1 M 25 is compatible but I'm not sure about this. Pick up information by the Service partner before buy you one.

  It is the first of my laptop which seems to offer not to display these key elements and it is very sinuous to find the standard 3 + 4 for the volume keys and F6 + F7 for brightness, especially in an environment dark.

  What you want to say no to the display screen?

  Different laptops have different combination of FN keys. On Toshiba laptops, you can change the display by pressing FN + F6/F7 and on other laptops, you have other F - keys for this. There is no standard for these FN keys.

  Usually, if you press the FN key only you should see at the top of the screen flash cards. You see them?

  Don, welcome to the forum.

  The first thing you need to do is to upgrade the power supply (PSU).  The current PSU is only 250W.  It is not enough to run a new intermediate level video cards.  They require a minimum of 400W.  It would be a good idea to buy at least one with 500W.  This will give you more choice of cards.  I love the Corsair and OCZ PSU.  I always suggest measuring the current PSU and comparing measures to whichever you choose.

  You should stay at 9 "or less for the duration of the video card.  This ensures that it fits in the space provided.  You would need a larger case to go further.  I like XFX, EVGA, Sapphire and PNY in that order.  The two cards in the links can be inserted into the computer and they will be good for the games.  Be sure to read the 'Détails' and 'Clients' to learn more about each of them.  I'm looking for products that have more than 100 customers and are at least 4 eggs.  Normally, this will be a very good product.
