Loop through the string with multiple replaced Conditions

I'm looking for loop through a url string to enter analysis of http:// , www.twitter.com and twitter.com.

I thought first use this:

< cfset form.mystring = REPLACENOCASE (form.mystring, "http://","", 'One' "")

AND REPLACENOCASE (form.mystring, "www.twitter.com", "", 'One') >.

I realized that this won't work of course.

In addition, using a cfif-cfelseif you will remove in this case a a condtion, but not several condition.

You will need to use a cfloop, I think. Any suggestions on the syntax.  Thank you

If you can not do:

replacelist (LCase (Form.myString), 'http://, www.twitter.com, twitter.com', ',')

  • Loop through the item with variables

    OK, I have 10 textInputs which are named tiDepart1, tiDepart2, tiDepart3... The only difference of nature is the number of the TI.

    So what I want to do, it's all just have a loop on a random number of these TI and assign some properties.

    For example:

    for

    (i = 0; i < 6; i ++) {

    ddDepart + i.visible = true;

    }

    You can see the small I ask in the space where the number of technology should be. So, with this command, I managed to set them all the visible property to true.

    It is a simple and useful command that will allow me to win a lot of code if I can manage to make it work.

    Anyone have an idea on how to make this work?

    I also thought that maybe it would be necessary to put my items in a table, so I can loop through them easily.

    But is it possible to include items such as a combo box or text in an input array and still have access to their properties.

    Thank you very much and sorry for the bad English.

    There is nowhere you can be that isn't where you're supposed to be. -the beatles-

    for (var i: int = 0; i< 6;="" i++)="">

    In general, however, yes - put the latter in a picture, or something like that would probably be a cleaner approach.

  • Search strings / with some applied condition

    Hello comrades,.

    I am writing an extendscript which is supposed to loop through all of the PGF and find all the strings / with a certain condition applied (say, comment).

    The problem is that in the script guide, I couldn't find a function that retrieves the status of character property. I tried to use the function "charAt() (i)" js, but it doesn't seem to work in ARE. No idea how to implement such a function?

    Here's the 1st draft of the script.

    var doc is app. ActiveDoc;

    If doc. {ObjectValid()}

    checkCondFMt (doc);

    }

    else {}

    Alert ("no open section");

    }

    function checkCondFMt (doc) {}

    FMP var is doc. MainFlowInDoc.FirstTextFrameInFlow.FirstPgf;

    var CondObj is doc. GetNamedObject ("Comment");

    While (FMP. {ObjectValid()})

    var textItems is bmp. GetText(Constants.FTI_String |) Constants.FTI_LineEnd);

    var b = new TextRange();

    TR. Beg.obj = tr.end.obj = textItems;

    TR. Beg.offset = 0;

    for (var i = 0; i < tr.len; i ++) {}

    var c = tr.charAt (i);

    var PgfProps is doc. GetTextVal c [i], Constants.FO_CondFmt;

    Alert (PgfProps.Name);

    }

    PGF = bmp. NextPgfInFlow;

    }

    }

    Thanks in advance for your comments!

    OK, I see the problem now. JavaScript doesn't have a "block scope" for its variables. She carried the function, so your 'i' variable is used in more than a loop. You must use a different variable for the inner loop:

    for (var j = 0; j < oCond.length; j += 1) {
        if (oCond[j].Name == CondObj.Name) {
            applyCharFmt(textRange, doc);
        }
    }

    In the code example above, I use 'j' for a counter for the inner loop.

    In general, you can avoid problems of this kind to declare all your variables at the top of the function:

    function functionName (param1, param2) {

        var i, j, textlist; // etc.

        // function code...
    }

    That makes it easier to 'follow' variables and make sure that you do not use one more than once.

    I need to loop through the layers in the active document and the value of the properties of the layer is false or true.  I tried to create a loop using a method 'for', but it doesn't seem to work. • REGEXP_REPLACE how to loop through the occurrences of a text string variables

    Hello

    I use a 11.g Oracle procedure. I found an example of REGEXP_REPLACE with only two arguments (input and model) and created a procedure based on this example. The Replace function works, but not optimally. I try to use REGEXP_REPLACE to loop on a variable number of occurrences of a text string in a local variable of CLOB.  The string occurs after the text base64 (base64 comma) and before the text "/ > (double quote space oblique superior - only)."  I can do replace it work for a single occurrence, but I can't do it properly in a loop.  These embedded strings include images that were inserted in a rich Apex text field.  This is a rich text field is assigned to the CLOB p_html.

    Declare p_html clob;
      l_image_clob clob;
      l_image_count number;
    Begin
    p_html := '<p>Some header text base64,one start here and then this is the end one" /></p><p>Some header text base64,two start here and then this is the end two" /></p>';
    l_image_count := REGEXP_COUNT(p_html, 'base64', 1, 'i');
    If l_image_count > 0 Then
      For i In 1..l_image_count Loop
      l_image_clob := REGEXP_REPLACE(p_html, '(.*base64,)|(" />.*)');
      dbms_output.put_line(l_image_clob);
      -- code to process each occurrence individually.
      End Loop;
    End If;
    End;

    What I would like to see results of the data are:

    tenure here and that's the end

    two beginning here and that's the end of two

    The results I get are:

    two beginning here and that's the end of two

    two beginning here and that's the end of two

    Thanks a lot for watching this.

    Hello

    From Oracle 11.1, REGEXP_SUBSTR is better than REGEXP_REPLACE for this sort of thing.

    What produces the output you asked for:

    Declare

    CLOB p_html;

    CLOB l_image_clob;

    number of l_image_count;

    Begin

    p_html: = '

    ' Some header text base64, start here and then it's the end "/ >

    Some header text base64, two start here and then it's the end of two"/ >

    ';

    l_image_count: = REGEXP_COUNT (p_html, 'base64', 1, 'i');

    If l_image_count > 0 Then

    For i In 1... l_image_count loop

    l_image_clob: = REGEXP_SUBSTR (p_html )

    , "base64,(.*?)" / > "

    1

    , I - letter i (loop variable), not number 1

    , 'i'

    1

    );

    dbms_output.put_line (l_image_clob);

    -code to treat each case individually.

    End loop;

    End If;

    End;

    /

    The 4th argument to REGEXP_SUBSTR specifies where desired appearance (starting with 1).

    The 6th argument is a backreference. 1 means you want to return all that match the expression starting with the 1st '('. gauche)

  • Replace the string with the formatted text

    Hello all - I'm back to my beloved project...

    I want to replace a string by a TextSelction (formatted text) and began with the famous feature of Jang FindAndReplaceString.
    Since my replacement comes from another document (sourceDoc), I edited to targetDoc activeDoc and introduced a second document (sourceDoc).
    The replacePara actually comes from a stone where he had been placed to avoid switch backwards between the documents in a book (where to find and replace) and source documents. In another function, I learned that information on the table requires the sourceDoc must remain open.

    • Of course, everything works fine until I want to insert the replacelement:
      erase line 26 is the string
    • Given that I do not insert a string, I skip lines 28 and 29 and try try line 30
    • On line 30 DocumentSource is Document object and replacePare object TextSelection. However, sourceDoc.replacePara is not set and
    • (as a result?) line 31 past the current contents of the Clipboard.

    Of course, there is a fog around me... and I need some sunshine.

    function FindAndReplacePara (targetDoc, findString, sourceDoc, replacePara, loopMax) {
      var tr = new TextRange();
      var restoreTR, frame = 0, loopCounter = 0, replacementCounter = 0;
      var findParams = new PropVals();
      var firstPgf = targetDoc.MainFlowInDoc.FirstTextFrameInFlow.FirstPgf;

      tr.beg.obj = tr.end.obj = firstPgf;             //  set up the starting text range as the very beginning
      tr.beg.offset = tr.end.offset = 0;              // of the flow. We'll move straight from beginning to end.
      trSaved = tr                                    // to come back after work

      tr = targetDoc.Find(tr.beg, findParams);        // and do an initial find to get started.

      while(FA_errno === Constants.FE_Success && loopCounter++ < 2*loopMax) { //find and replace loop as long as we keep finding
        targetDoc.TextSelection = tr;                 // set up the text range to clear the original text
        targetDoc.Clear(0);                           // clear it

    //    targetDoc.AddText(tr.beg, replacePara);       // insert the new text at the original beginning of the text range

    Hi Klaus,

    Thanks for the explanation. I remember something like that GetTabRange of the way back. You have been quite patient and persistent with this project, indeed.

    So, as we are dealing with ranges of text here, I think that the only simple approach is to perform a copy and paste. There is no way to save a 'formatted' in a variable. The only super precise way would be to get a data structure of each text range TextItems in the sourceDoc, then meticulously recreate every element of the targetDoc. It would be very complicated, I think, so copy and paste seems the most logical. I wonder, though, if Miss me something, because I think that maybe you would have tried already so yes (?)

    In any case, I would do something like that, from line 30 of your original code sample (code untested here):

    App. ActiveDoc = sourceDoc;

    sourceDoc.TextSelection = replacePara;

    sourceDoc.Copy (0);

    App. ActiveDoc = targetDoc;

    targetDoc.Paste (0);

    ... etc.

    Does make sense, or am I barking the wrong tree, as they say?

  • How to convert the string with numbers in the table of Boolean 2D

    Hello

    I have input a string with comma separated numbers 1,192 (starting at 1).

    This string must be converted to a table 2D-boolean. Each number that appears should be true, not true rest.

    The 2D table consists of 4 times of 0.47 Boolean values.

    1.48--> [0.47] numbers [0]
    49.96--> [0.47] numbers [1]
    Numbers 97.144--> [0.47] [2]
    145.192--> [0.47] numbers [3]

    If a '1, 49, 97 145' input string put all [0] [0.3] true.

    How can it be easy/fast resolved?

    Thanks for help

    Break the string of numbers in a table of numbers.  (Spreasheet String to Array).

    In a loop For, index with each issue of this table.  Use in the range and Coerce to see if it is in the range of numbers.  (You can put this in a loop For as auto good indexing through the ranges).  If it's in the range, then use subset replace table to activate the corresponding item in a real.  If this is not the case, do nothing.  Maintain the table of Boolean in a shift register.

    Repeat this step for each number in your table.

  • Loop through the objects - test links

    Hello

    I have a script that moves all instances of an object linked according to the defined user X, the values of Y.

    To do this, I need to loop through all the objects with links

    What is the best way to do it?

    From now on, that's what I do:

    var g = myDoc.allGraphics;
    for (var i=0; i<g.length; i++) {
         if (g[i].itemLink.name == USER_LINK) {
              g[i].parent.move(undefined, [USER_X, USER_Y]);
         }
    }

    It works well, however, I ran into a few problems where the link is null

    Also, is it always the graph linked, or its parent may be related as well?

    If not, then I can just condition that if itemLink == null - continue

    Advice and guidance would be much appreciated

    Thank you

    David

    It works well, however, I ran into a few problems where the link is null

    if (g[i].itemLink && g[i].itemLink.name == "USER_LINK")     //     should be enough

    Also, is it always the graph linked, or its parent may be related as well?

    Graphics can be linked to the ==> itemLink ! = null and itemLink.status may vary

    or stuck ==> itemLink == null.

    As much as I know the graphic.parent may not be related.

    However not all are related graphic.parent can be moved. I e. those who are anchored with

    AnchorPosition.INLINE_POSITION and AnchorPosition.ABOVE_LINE

    Above the case can be a source of error as well.

    Also consider locked object or the layers locked together.

    Hello

    I use TestStand 3.5 to automate a few test cases associated with boot loader.

    The requirement is that I need to read the value in some places for specific address. The values of these addresses are stored in a hexadecimal format.

    We have a step customized in TestStand through which we can read these values by address, but she returns as the type "String".

    For example, the value to 0 x 0000008 is 000001 B 2, and he returned in Locals.Value_Read as "000001 B 2" in the string.

    Is it possible, I can convert the string "000001 B 2" to a number?

    I tried to use the function-> val (locals. Value_Read), but it is return 0 as TestStand figures that the input string is not representing the valid number.

    Please help me with this.

    Thank you and best regards,
