  Steps I do in Adobe Edge animate CC

  1.) create new

  2.) I click on + sign article library > > Scripts > > add a JS of URL file...

  URL that I add is: http://www.edgehero.com/edgehero.js/1.2/edgehero_1.2_min.js  (URL is taken from site: Edgehero.js )

  I add this link:http://www.edgehero.com/edgehero.js/1.2/edgehero_1.2_min.js to box that occures after i click on Add JS File from URL

  

  3.) I go to Edgehero.js and from there i scrol down to section named as Media - video Html5 / Html5 audio
  and here I select this option:

  4.) I go to Adobe Edge animate CC 2014 and right-click on the project and select Actions open to "Stage".

  Then I select the Rectangle tool and mark the box (white box) and I click on the little icon of C

  now when I use ctrl and enter I get only a gray box that does not play video.

  I drag and drop a video from the side straight to rectangle window and the side left, I clicked on loop playback and it started working as it should.

  This phenomenon was linked to your video driver (atikmpag.sys) /DirectX.  I would completely remove the current driver and install the latest driver available.

• Widget "Video background" appears not when I export? Desperate SOS student.

  Dear reader,

  I need emergency help to know how to make my widget "Video background" appear on the final published HTML export.

  The "Video background" widget is placed on the left corner of my master page. A screenshot below will show you the settings that I have for the widget. I used the URL of a YouTube video, I did, during the preview of my site, it seems to work perfectly. I scroll the background video remained fixed in place and when I clicked on pages the video looks even.

  

  Everything seemed normal, but when I tried to export the site as HTML background video disappeared, it was just a white Uni, everything was still there however.

  To export all the my video, what I did was:

  1. Click the arrow to the right of "publish".
  2. Select "export to HTML".
  3. My Web site name "myname.com".
  4. Click the folder next to 'rent', then create a new folder and call it 'my name '.
  5. Click 'OK' to save my website
  6. Compress the folder titled 'my name' so that it can be sent to my Professor via wetransfer.com

  If it means anything, I get a message of 'Active problem' when I click on export. I think I know what an asset he's talking and there's just that one image on one of my pages.

  Any help would be appreciated.

  As this is a third party widget, I can't test to verify the process. But you can try to get a preview in the browser to verify the behavior, you can also create a test on BC place which would show how the site will display live.

  Concerning the use of the background video widget, Muse includes youtube widget that can be 100% width and with AutoPlay on, it should work on pages where the same master is applied. You can try this.

  A video background is not possible. You must split the video and put the parts on different slides, so that you can insert slides of issue between them. Maybe it's possible with Camtasia? I'm not sure, is not the latest version.

  Sorry I forgot what is obvious at the first step! Laughing out loud. You can do this before preview (file-> Render-> motion menus) or the icon in the preview window.

• Video backgrounds for Menus

  I am currently having a video game as a background for my menu... I created the menu in photoshop using a background transparent, black and white, but nothing seems to work.  When I connect the asset (mpeg or mp4 movie) in the background, he turns black, but never plays the video in the preview of the box here. I also made even the animated menus, but it still does not play. I'm about to lose my mind, I watched the tutorials, but I don't know what is happening! Can anyone help please?

  This is not sensible. The usual culprit in a video background playing black, this is how the background layer is implemented.

  If another test: select the 'marriage' of the models of the library group. Put in "Floral". It is a motion menu. Make the first piece of theatre. Rendering of animated menus. The background video play? If so, use the bottom of the query for this one (NTSC_Floral Menu.m2v) in your menu more. Make the motion menu. He plays in yours?   Please create a new site and check if the same thing happens with the widget?

  If it is then this means that there is something on the site that is in conflict with the codes or the widget is corrupt removing and replacing it in the page can solve the problem.

  If this happens on the new site so I suggest you to contact support for widget developers.

• Cannot set a video loop of background for the menu

  It cannot be that difficult to do.  I have damage animations.  Buttons work fine.  I can not put a video loop behind the menu.

  I tried:

  (a) alt + drag the .mp4 on the menu

  (b) using the icon for selecting the video option in the control panel menu for .mp4 loop property

  (c) by using a single video file to point to animate on for 2 seconds then set a loop after that for 27 seconds of video loop

  Option C preview correctly and all, but just showed as a black background in the final exported .flv

  Option A and B just did nothing.  There is no video vignette that appears, or whatever it is.

  The loop in the audio file works fine in the preview and the final result, but not video.

  I've looked through many tutorials and just may not know what I am doing wrong.  Any suggestion would be appreciated.

  Should work.

  I would try the elementary streams: m4v and audio.

  Are you sure there are no other layer interfering with the motion? For example, adding a still in photoshop without making the 'context' works fine until you add a background of movement. Yet to replace the technical background layer, but luckily leaves your extra layer covering the motion. Probably not in this case as one of your options produces motion.

  What do you mean by video thumbnails? You're adding motion to the mp4 and also animate buttons?

  If it does not, use any closure and just get the movement of work.

  Test your basic bringing in a motion menu and using the m4v that to see if can get motion.

  What is your default transcoding defined on your 1280 x 720?

  This is the problem that I pointed out to you when I wrote-

  There are several reasons why it does not work 100% of the time, but the main one being that the swf/flv often rises to the top (see above), any other content.

  You can try setting the wmode in object code swf - opaque or transparent, but even if it can work for you this won't always work for other users.
