Losing booksmarks when pdf FM11

I need urgent help! I'm working on a doc FM11 that was created in the FM8. When I try to print in pdf format there is no element in the item list, and I don't get any bookmarks generated in the pdf file. We are digging our brains!

If you have these in a book, FM usually uses the first file in the book to get all the necessary information. Check the file first.

FrameMaker 2015 Embedded XLS problem when PDF

Hi, I have a problem with frame 2015 with embedded XLS tables and output PDF.
I work with a new client who was using v11 with simple structured and incorporated documents XLS tables. We have now purchased both Framemaker 2015 so that I can work on their documents.
The problem I have is when I open the V11 docs in 2015 TI loses the link to the source XLS. Billboards OK but when attaching to open the data source I get:
"Cannot locate the source of the link" even if the path appears correct. At this point if I save to PDF output is OK.
So I can re - insert the tables by using 'Edit - Paste Special - integrate Microsoft Office Excel 2003 worksheet' and it appears correctly on the screen. However when I then save them in PDF format (as desired by the customer) the picture becomes a big black box. If I print normally the output is OK its only saving in PDF format.
I also tried to print to Adobe PDF with the same result, tables appear as black boxes. Any ideas on a solution would be very appreciated!

OLE has a history of being a bit dodgy with FM. Have you tried to import, reference, the Excel worksheet? FM hasExcel import filters and "by reference" made sure if the content is updated, then FM uses the most recent.

In addition, when you create the PDF file, you use the option CMYK or RGB?

When I PDF pages using shadows on other items on the page (not objects colored in question), the blue color that I use for my boxes of caption text is faded. This function arrives on 4 pages in my entire document I use shadows. I'm not their use on the object in question, but on other objects on the page. Many times our Adobe Acrobat XI hangs when you edit PDFs with Pitstop Pro 11.
Especially when you try to edit/replace fonts.
I also get the crashreport. How can I show it here in the forum?

Signature field is removed when pdf downloaded - what can I do?

I was contacted by another administrator who was in trouble by downloading the latest version of a pdf online form. Everything looks great in Adobe Acrobat X and Reader, but when we put the document on our Web site, signature fields are removed, and change the tab order.
When users want to review the document, they must download it, this isn't in the browser when this happens (I know it can make the difference). Signatures are allowed, and field Fisher are allowed on this pdf. Is there another setting that could be messing things up?

Unfortunately, this does not work in FM10 (or 11), using the CMYK settings - you have to use RGB and convert colors in the PDF file (with tools like PitstopPro of the Enfocus) or during the stage of postscript with a tool like PubliPDF (see: Grafikhuset Publi PDF for GPL license freebie; details on usage and other information are available at) (: Welcome to Grafikhuset published PDF ).

You can also try using the joboptions CMYK in RGB mode setting to see if you get an acceptable conversion (be aware that graphics and images in documents may be affected). You must also set GetLibraryColorRGBFromCMYK = None to prevent all doing unnecessary conversions color FM.

The background color feature works correctly from only FM12 CMYK mode.

Selections from drop-down list in the text box is not saved when PDF is saved/sent

I have a drop-down selection list and items can be added from the drop-down list in a textbox as multiple items. (this work all fine)
When I send the form as a PDF and then all the other field values is saved, except the values entered into the text selected in the dropdownlist control box.
How can I get these values to be saved in the PDF file so that these values disappear.

.. run only in the file > Properties > tab by default , that the changes of Script preserve is set to Automatic.

Object of turns red gradient gray overlay when pdf'ed

I have a vector logo that has a red object with a gray overprint gradient placed on the top of the page to it. It will print as it should, with a degraded shadow red. When I make a pdf object is all gray. I even tried to make a post script file and it does distill still no help. Is there anyway to make a pdf where the object looks correct on the screen (red with a degraded shadow)?

I find it incredibly annoying, that's not on by default (and the number of questions that we receive customers accordingly); I can't imagine a situation where you won't see the effect of an object defined for a recovery when you view a PDF.

It is also annoying that it is buried in the prefs rather than in the menu display as InDesign and Illustrator.

Read only fields become unlocked when PDF is open again

I created a quote that is has several buttons on it. The buttons perform many actions such as the Add/Remove lines, add or remove columns, etc. There is a "Finalize" button at the bottom of the form that locks all the text fields and hides all buttons so that they cannot be changed by the customer when the quote is sent to them.
The problem occurs when the form is completed, saved, and then reopened. All the buttons become visible again and the text field becomes editable when the PDF file is reopened. Is there a way to keep the hidden buttons and text read-only fields?

The "State" of the form is not saved automatically. Under the form of file/properties/Defaults make the checkbox 'Keep changes to the scripts to form when registering' is set on automatically.

Media Player 12 losing library when the external hard drive is disconnected.

I have all my music from an external hard drive. If the hard disk is on and I have Windows Media Player 12 to scan the drive, he built the library very well. However, I do like to keep this external hard drive on all the time so I must say Media Player to stop monitoring the disk in order to disconnect and power off. WMP12 does not store the music files. It stores only the location of the files. If you are using a temporary drive, files disappear when the source goes away. The only solution for this is to put the files on your disk or hard drive connected all the time.

To store your files on your hard drive in a place where the player plays automatically, go to the icon of (i.e.: C:\users\ ) when the folder opens, there is a folder named My Music. It is one of the files that WMP reads.

If you don't have room on your hard drive to store all of the music, you can choose a few favorites or turn the music on your hard drive. You can just leave it to refill whenever you connect the WMP player.

I'm losing configuration when I turned off my Cisco 857 router

I bought the new router Cisco 857 of the shop. Router must have been used before as I couln can't go inside with name of user and password default cisco/cisco.

Well I followed digital and reset the password for the user name and password. Now I have finally connected to Cisco CP express on my IE browser.

I discovered that someone was using a router in the shop that's why I countries: ' t log in to him in the first place. In any case the problem is that when I changed my configuration and applies the settings he remembers until I turned off. When I turn on again he remembers all the parameters of this shop.
