  I have a 2008 MBP running Yosemite and back up to a Time Capsule. Last week, I noticed weird problems with connectivity and slow performance. Last week, I started receiving messages that the Time Machine backup failed.

  I decided to upgrade to El Capitan in the hope to solve weird problems I saw. I checked in the application Time Machine that my last backup was March 28, so I proceeded with the upgrade.

  The upgrade of the El Capitan crashed and I got an error report. I tried several of the fixes available online (hold Shift and start in safe mode to complete installation, command-R and reloading the OS X). Nothing has worked.

  I finally decided to go back to my backup TM start over and try again. I held command-R and got in the start menu. I chose to restore from a backup Time Machine, which has been connected to my TM. However, my TM shows that my latest backup is 28 July 2015. It is a huge problem...

  How is it, I was warned never between July and March that backups are not working?

  Why TM would show that I had a valid backup on 28 March, when its not available in the restoration of the process?

  I am at a loss. I am trying to restart in safe mode to see if my files are still on my local HD, but who is locked up.

  Time Machine is less reliable.

  I advise the people now to create a clone of their computer startup drive bootable using an application like Carbon Copy Cloner... immensely more reliable than TM.

  My advice is to put the current hard drive of the computer replaced. It is likely that the installation failed (and your previous operating system was in place) because of the disk hard defective... they are cheap and readers are now extremely better than 2008 if the laptop is on the original drive.

  Clean, install the OS on the new drive, then connect the old hard drive to the computer using a sata cable USB... drive bracket / speaker.

  Then you're going to see how good or bad it is... and I hope that you can import (use the migration assistant) and get all of your files.

By subtracting the amount of time between the 1st and the last frame to get how much time is taken by my algo. When I only launches on the VI created on the HOST PC, it takes approximately 14ms and if I run it on CRIO RT be close (initially deployed and then run). VX Works is also running on CRIO RT. I assumed that this time should be less time on my computer. If I continually run the VI on RT, time moves at about 1.2 sec I need to know that if I want to know how to find out the exact time taken by my algo when it is deployed on RT? If the memory is improved, it will affect the performance?

  RT operating system such as VxWorks is not a guarantee for performance of running faster, all depends on how fast the material is! This particular device cRIO has a 400 MHz processor and 64 MB of RAM. Compare that with your host pc.

  What a RT OS gives hard limits on necessary. In other words, you can get a more predictable in your discussions parallel/process jitter, while, as in Windows, the process/thread scheduler is not deterministic.

  If someone sold you this system based on the performance and processing speed is, I return it.

  Assuming you are using Windows, you must use the Windows GetLastInputInfo API function that will give you the time.

• Essbase calculation Variable computing time

  Hope someone can help me understand what could be possibly be causing calc processing time varies from time to time in a locked script (so no data entry) in a single environment. Our application is about 90 GB in size and runs on a dedicated server Essbase (no other application lies in this area) which has 12 physical cores, 1 terabyte drive 128 GB of RAM, and runs on 64-bit Windows Server 2008. The suite of planning, including Essbase, is stopped and restarted every night at midnight and after the reboot, a MAXL script that runs all calculations of forecasts is triggered. En_regle_generale, the calculation of forecast that runs after the reboot takes longer (2 hours and 20 minutes) and I always thought it was because 1) because it occurs after the restart there is nothing in memory and 2) there are 2 processes FDM that runs and also triggers other calculations that runs at the same time that the calculations of forecasts.

  Six hours later, with international users making up (no new entries as the scenario is locked), I performed the same calculations of forecasts and the whole process falls to 1 hour 10 minutes. Yet once, I guess due to the preliminary calculations data is already in memory so that the calculations are faster. However, after another six hours, I run the same calculation of forecast (once again no news is entered as the scenario is locked) the calculation takes 1 hour 30 minutes.

  As a note, a restructuring of the entire database is performed every week.
