Loss of function of keyboard on Macbook with Win 7

Recently, I changed Win XP to Win 7 on my Macbook (required by the work programmes) which succeeded after a few facilities. Anyway, now there is loss of several functions of the keyboard on the Macbook since installing Win 7. Does anyone know how to regain control functions; CD or DVD eject, speaker button (Fn + f8 or f9 or f10) function the last of them is the trackpad settings are not adjustable?

Trackpad and keyboard functions function entirely in Mac system.

Thank you

1. did you use bootcamp to install Windows 7?

2 the keyboard and trackpad work properly under Windows XP?

3 have you installed the drivers from the Macintosh DVD?

  • loss of function of the keyboard and the touchpad

I am a rural small repair shop and received a HP/Compaq Presario CQ60-615DX to repair the loss of function of the keyboard and the touchpad. My first thought was that the Ribbon connectors came loose. However, when I first turned it on, the keyboard worked to enter the Windows password. Once started, the keyboard would not work. My client had a major sale/repair company and their solution was to install a keyboard on the screen and use a wireless mouse. I started my research in this tthinking of problem that perhaps it was caused by malicious software. Fortunately my client gave me the AC adapter while I was looking for input on the laptop voltage. It wasn't on the outer label, so I removed the battery. I reinstalled the battery and was amazed to find that both keynoard and touchpad work now.

What could have caused this loss of function and why would be to remove and reinstall the battery solve this problem?

It's probably that the battery actually acted as a hard reset.  A hard reset has the effect to remove remaining current EEPROM and other devices on the motherboard.

  • international keyboard apple MacBook 12 bootcamp

Hello, I just installed my 12 MacBook with Windows 8.1 Pro with bootcamp provided tools (6.0), but international keyboard apple does not work as expected because the other accents special characters do not work. I also have another 12 MacBook which I did the same thing, but this time with windows 10 pro and have the same problem. International keyboard apple works as a standard US keyboard and not international.  Any ideas?

This phenomenon occurs in just Windows or Windows and Mac? For the Mac. Use system preferences / language/Input source. There you can choose the language for the keyboard. Side windows see this.  http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/change-keyboard-layout#1TC=Windows-7

Check if you have an F LOCK key in the top right of your keyboard.

If this is not the case, try a system restore:

    Restore point:

    http://www.howtogeek.com/HOWTO/Windows-Vista/using-Windows-Vista-system-restore/

Do Safe Mode system restore, if it is impossible to do in Normal Mode.

Try typing F8 at startup and in the list of Boot selections, select Mode safe using ARROW top to go there > and then press ENTER.

Try a restore of the system once, to choose a Restore Point prior to your problem...

Click Start > programs > Accessories > system tools > system restore > choose another time > next > etc.

    See you soon.

  • Bluetooth QWERTY keyboard on 200 with ICS

    Hello

I have upgrated sucessufully to Tablet ICS to 200 (in France). It works very well.

Rumors says that ICS supports Bluetooth QWERTY keyboards. Unfortunately, this is not true.

I have connected a keyboard AZERTY of Motorola (since Toshiba does not have a keyboard).
This keyboard is compatible with ANDROID and QWERTY. Usually, it connects to the tablet of Zoom from Motorola. However, it is considered as a QWERTY keyboard.

I believe it works immediately with the Tablet from Motorola.

It would be nice if Toshiba could think about the French language clients ANDS will provide 200 to with the ability to use an external QWERTY keyboard.

Is there a procedure that I could follow or * freeware * that I could download to be able to use the AZERTY keyboard?

    Thank you.

  • How to install ElCapitan on a MacBook with Leopard Bootcamp =?

    Hello

I made an attempt to update my OS Leopard to ElCapitan on a MacBook with Bootcamp. Even if I follow the installation instructions, the result was catastrophic, i.e. ElCapitan, taking several minutes to open and also the Finder showed files ElCapitan Windows partition.

From the start, I also had a strange option named "Recovery", as well as Mac and Windows.

This kind of upgrade is possible? Or did I make a mistake somewhere?

    Thanks to any useful hand.

Boot Camp is used for installation of Windows, NOT Mac OS upgrades. The first thing I would do is to completely remove the Boot Camp partition.

Also, you said you have leopard, but the details of your device then shows 10.6.4... If you can boot in Leopard, go to  > about this Mac and tell us which version see you.

There are files of Windows because that's what Boot Camp is designed to do. I have no idea how you even used Boot Camp to install El Capitan, unless you had a version of the smuggling of El Capitan. Currently, the only way to get El Capitan is to have the AppStore, which is available in Snow Leopard 10.6.6 and later versions.

If you're really running Leopard (10.5), then you must buy Snow Leopard first and install it, then you can proceed to El Capitan using the Mac App Store. If you use an original MacBook, check your computers specifications to see if your computer will work same El Capitan until you try to install. There is a good chance that your computer will need more memory to use El Capitan.

  • HP Pavilion 17-e020dx: can I replace a Keyboard(Non-Backlit) with a backlit keyboard in my laptop HP Pavilion 17-e020dx?

Can I replace a Keyboard(Non-Backlit) with a backlit keyboard in my laptop HP Pavilion 17-e020dx?

    Hello

This series of computers portable your (and many others) have only 1 option for keyboard:

Full-size, island-keyboard with numeric pad in black or white finish. Gesture of support: MultiTouch gestures
activated, two fingers to scroll and pinchzoom as default
    Faucets, active by default
Support for Windows 8 modern trackpad

Therefore, you can not replace the keyboard only, you must also replace the motherboard that supports a backlit keyboard. If necessary, it would be a very expensive upgrade.

    Kind regards.
