Loss of quality when scaling down
I have a Camtaisa screen capture video which is 1738 x 1188 (Fig 1). I wanted to reduce the video in AE CS6 to fit a little better in a 720 p timeline so that I can make a few simple dishes throughout the image. However, when I've scaled down (75%) the image loses a ton of details and gets pretty sweet (photo 2). I think it would get more net - this seems completely contrary to intuition for me and I tried several options, including continuous rasterization and make 3d layer and scaling but no joy on either. Any ideas on how to put the image down so that it fills several of the model 720 without losing sharpness of details? I'm not zoom, I repeat... I'm not zoom - so this isn't the issue.
Come to know that he was actually replacing the PP timeline with a model of EI that results in the loss of quality. CNTRL-I put in the PP chronology in AE kept them more clear.

I've recently updated to Windows Movie Maker for first Elements 8 and when I burned my project, I noticed a significant loss of quality. The source media is pretty poor, I use a Panasonic VDR-D160 DVD from camcorder mini (Yes it's a nightmare do total import images), and when I import images is a. VOB file. The stats for the. I work with VOB files are photos of 704 x 576 which goes to 25 frames per second. The flow is 9558 kbit/s and the total flow is 9814 Kbps.
The first project that I did is very simple, with minimal editing and without effect. However, when I burn it to a DVD or a DVD file it modifies the image and 720 x 576 and reduces the data rate and bitrate 7464 Kbps 7656 kbit/s respectively. This creates an obvious pixelation of the image, especially for the parts of the video that move and can be seen on TV in lower resolution. Sharing/editing the video, how to keep the same quality as the original? I have been through the help, and due to my lack of understanding of the elements of the first, I was not able to determine if it's just a matter of changing the settings.
Thank you!
Unfortunately, you start with a material that has already been compressed heavily to the format/CODEC MPEG - 2. Then you are editing and a Scaled upward (the DVD spec for PAL) out and then re-compressed in MPEG-2. It is a triple whammie. Because the pre does not have "smart Rendering", what you see is what you get.
A better choice for the limited edition, basically just cut the material, would be a program that "smart," where all the material, which is not changed, except to remove parts of it, would NOT be converted a second time in MPEG-2. I think that some of the products Sony Vegas, but there are others. If you Google "smart rendering", you will see several programs that have this. I would choose those.
You will always have the question of the scale, unless you allow your more completely than the electric material specific to be surrounded by black. If evolve you in editing software, even with a smart rendering, it must then be transcoded into MPEG-2 all over again.
With images, the choices are very limited.
Good luck and sorry for the bad news.

Loss of quality when importing video to the editor. What should I do?
I did a HD video with my camera and need to change it, but when I import it into Adobe Premiere elements 13 quality decreases. How to maintain the optimal video quality when importing it?
Arthurs
What version of Premiere Elements and on what operating system works - it?
What is the brand/model/parameters of the camera that records video? What is the file extension that is associated with the file? What is the bit rate of the file that is imported?
Is the decline in quality import and when you watch the video in the Edit area monitor? Or do you see loss of video quality when you view this Timeline content export? When you view the video in edit box monitor, you're looking at timeline rendered or unreturned content? No coloured line, orange line or a green line on the content of the timeline?
What you are (manually) or the draft definition (automatic) the project preset to match the properties of the video source? Please tell us what the readings are for the fashion edition of time base, image size and Pixel Aspect Ratio (even if the appearance of the gray fields) under Menu/change settings/general?
Many more questions on dating on your video/graphics card version of the pilot and others, but let us examine and consider the foregoing and then decide what then.
For any question or need clarification, please request so that we can customize a response for you.
Thank you.

stop the images lose the file size when scaled down?
Ive read this tutorial;
http://joedasilva.com/blog/?p=32
and ive just discovered that if put you across a smaller image, the file size is decreased so permanent and expansion of the image again it will be pixalated. If I'm working with images and I want freedom to play with the scaling, do I need to convert them all to grafics?
Is there a setting that I can change so that the images are saved to the display resolution when I export, but maintain there full size of the file in the document? Is this how illustrator works?
Thank youheathrowe says:

> hWell Yes, the large version convert a graphic symbol. In this way, you will not
lost quality unless you to scale larger than the original.--

I'm working on a project with a customer logo and title... both are downloaded from the internet in high resolution and crisp and wonderful look in Photoshop. However, when I drop in my 1, 080 x 1, 080 5 movement project and adapts them to the size, they must be in animation, all this freshness becomes terribly pixelated.
It looks like a problem of aliasing to me... the text generated by movement in my document looks great, so I guess that's not a draft too low resolution (1, 080 x 1, 080 seems high enough resolution for me!). I'm fairly new to Motion, so I feel like there's just something obvious that I forget... any help is appreciated!
If the logos are available on the internet, please post a link to one or more of them, then we can see what the issue might be. The only way (in general) occurs in images pixelation is if the scale becomes higher than 100%. Which can happen even if you are down, but with the help of a camera view revision or position Z to make the image appear closer.
Is there something else on the project involving a zoom, positioning, and/or put across?

Loss of quality when recording in pdf format
Hello
I did a post card, I have pages, but when I save it as a pdf file, that it loses quality and society who do it says the quality is bad and the picture will come out blurry on the cards. What should I do?
I hope someone can help!
Natascha
If you include anything with transparency, (areas of text, shadows, mirror effect, graphic png/tiff, image borders, cells of a transparent table, etc) that will be solved in your PDF in 72 dpi, even when better PDF in PDF export. If you start with low resolution images, this will not improve at the printer.
Pages is generally not well suited as a tool for quality commercial printing.

Loss of quality when the image resizing
I want to resize an image to make it smaller, but going to the size of the image and use that diminishes the quality. My original image is 370 x 193 pixels. How do I resize without quality loss?
Are what resampling method you using? Automatic work probably, but you start with a certain file smale, so going smaller is forced to lose details.

Loss of quality when editing in Photoshop from Lightroom
I just noticed this tonight for the first time in nearly two years, and I hope it was not ruining my quality this time together. I worked on an image in Lightroom, got the contrast and the perfect color and when I went to "Edit in Photoshop" it completely shaved on my photo of blackening of most of my lighter areas and it is horrible. Discover the sky in these two pictures to see what I mean. Any ideas? I have LR3 and CS4 if that helps...
It of ok, go to the Preferences dialog box and press the button reset warning dialog boxes, then he will reappear. Open in any case explain - LR3 has CS5 or later to open rendered identical using anyway. If you choose rendered using Lightroom, it must pass over the rendering correctly.

Loss of quality when using "Replace with Adobe After Effects Composition Colombia"
My workflow:
[1] create new first sequence with footage of gross screenshot (12 fps h.264 mov ~ 2 Mbps)
[2] use the blade to cut images in a section in need of effects
[3] right-click on the item and choose "Replace with Adobe after effects structure Colombia"
* For the purposes of this essay, this is what I did (no effect adds in every first or AE)
[4] in the first place a 'In' on the side of the raw images and a point "Out" on the side "replaced" and make this section
[5] export using the same settings as the raw images (h.264, size of the sequence of 12 images per second, ~ 2 Mbps)
[6] open export to QuickTime.
Here's a (cropped, obviously) screen shot from the beginning of the clip (raw images):
And here is this same "replaced": side area
It is much softer.
Have no input as to why the simple use of this feature causes degradation in image quality? Yet once again, I haven't added any effect.
I have not had a problem until this project, which is any screenshot. As you can see it's a weird image... size but that should be irrelevant.
Instead - h.264 makes only to a standard set of horizontal & vertical resolution's combos, and this isn't one of them.

Best way to edit a JPG file in Photoshop while minimizing loss of quality?
I want to change a lot of pictures of the camera (captured in JPG format) to correct (and sometimes framing and other) exposure issues, but want to reduce to a minimum of loss of quality when I re - save the file. It is preferable to open each image in Camera Raw, make the adjustments, then use 'Save the Image' of the screen of Camera Raw to save my changes? I noticed that this results in a smaller file than the original (for example 1.95 Mb vs 3.75 MB), but wanted to make sure I was using the optimal method for opening/editing/backup to avoid losing too much image quality.
I think that if you open a Jpg file in camera raw and that through bridge, just the metadata are saved, the image is not recompressed. So what would be the best way to make changes

How to proper resize images and videos when running without loss of quality?
Hi guys. I need a little help here.
I built a flash site, in which I want to resize a movie to the scene. I do it by keeping the proportion, so I just resize the width and then I resize the consequence of the height to the width of new but keeping the proportion.
The problem is that my film looks like he "pixeled".
I found a site on which the stage is resized dynamically with the movie and the background images without any of their loss of quality. So far, I knew that resize pictures or videos in flash for the creation or the runtime environment produces results pixeled.
This is the site: http://kampanjeweb.apt.no/jotun/romforrom/. Can someone tell me how they do without quality loss? Just make the browser in windowed mode and resize the margins to see the effect.
Thank you.
Hello, Venian.
On the video, you can try setting the smoothing of the flash.media.Video on TRUE property. This should keep a quality, but you can do nothing if the video has a bad quality. You need a great video.
On the images, you you need to redraw the image whenever you resize. To achieve this, use a combination of Bitmap, BitmapData and Matrix classes. No doubt, just call again. Here's a simple example:
var scale:Number = .5; var highQualitySourceImage:Bitmap = ...your image...; var scaleMatrix:Matrix = new Matrix(); scaleMatrix.scale(scale, scale); var bitmapData:BitmapData = new BitmapData( scale*highQualitySourceImage.width, scale*highQualitySourceImage.height); bitmapData.draw(highQualitySourceImage, scaleMatrix); var finalBitmap:Bitmap = new Bitmap(bitmapData); addChild( finalBitmap );
See you soon,.

Keep small size without loss of quality over far during re-registration edited JPG
Hi all
I have a bunch of pictures of a photographer I need to put a credit. They are all very light (~ 50 k) as they have been saved with JPG compression to only about 900 x 600px.
My problem is that when I run the action to add the credit, the file is saved as a JPG file but the only way to achieve a similar weight is to set the compression level 2, resulting in a massive loss of quality. With a quality to 12 files increase around 200 k! Is it possible that I can keep the size of the original (or similar) file even if I am actually starting with a new image by editing? The photo credit is added on the edge, not bunk.
Thank you
Carpet
Hi mast
50 KB for a 900 x 600 pixels image is on the small side and suggests either a high-compression JPG or even save for Web has been used before they came for you. 200 KB is a file size reasonable for a good quality JPG of this size. It's one of those situations "it is what it is." Degree of activity are the images? I'm guessing that you realize that images of high frequency with a lot of details and small blocks of different color, will not compress nearly as well as something like a little bird in a blue sky, so the specific images, you work on will of course affect the size of the file.
You can get the original files in an uncompressed format?
The file size is critical? that is, this is for the use of the web, or what?
At the present stage, there is no solution that will maintain the quality and the size of the file.

What happens when you select 'continuous '? This could be an indicator that you can disable by selecting "do not display". You can save as > PDF and use Reader to print. I don't see why the driver would not work or allow you to print. What happens if you have loaded the PPD in the print dialog box high?

Loss of quality of the fonts - export in PDF format
Sorry for duplication but I searched for a high and low for a solution but have come up empty-handed...
My problem is I'm losing POLICE QUALITY when you export a document in InDesign to PDF. For a quick understanding I am first inserting a screenshot of a piece of my User.ID before export file, then a culture of the same strand of PDF after export. What is the problem with the loss of sharpness of fonts? Help, please? I was pulling out my wallet. Time is of the essence, and a designer may not have exactly improper blurry fonts. ; P
(Btw, based on suggestions from other users to the problem apparently, I confirmed 100% built-in fonts, high resolution/print quality and even tried to switch off the option character "Ligatures".) Any other ideas? I appreciate really him)
Here is the FRONT InDesign document export it in PDF format:
And the PDF AFTER export document:
Thank you very much.
Hi Manny,
in principle there is no real problem with your design.
But to avoid the effect you see in the PDF document, follow these steps:
Use no color for the lines:
Before:
After:
How would you do it?
Select the text block, select the small "T" in the swatches Panel for the formatting of the text, switch to strokes if necessary by typing x and choose the outline color "[None]".Uwe
