Lost audio devices

Yesterday, I listened to music for a few hours with my headset Bluetooth SBG9100 Philips.

Today, I received the message that 'no Audio output device is installed ".

Headphones and speakers appear on 'Her', and the helmet shows devices and printers.  I heard the beep indicating the connection from the headset.

I tried to reinstall HP and update drivers Broadcom (Bluetooth) and the driver on headphones and speakers.  Both indicate updated and working properly, as do the Bluetooth Module and an enumerator.

I did a system restore to yesterday morning, but it did not help.  Same audio message.

MS Media Player says that he can not play because there is a problem with the audio device.

Any suggestions?

Thank you, Dunibar - my bad for not giving more information.

I despair, I called our doctor of the local computer, in whom I have the most confidence, and his recommendation was a system recovery (because I had lost all my system restore points).

Reluctantly, I did this and (touch wood) everything seems to go fine now.

Thanks for trying to help (again).

  • After you have reinstalled windows xp, I lost my audio devices of the system

I plugged in a new usb mouse and hub 4way in my computor screen went blue, wgen she is back on I had no control of the mouse. I plugged the old mouse, the screen was frozen. Ishut down and rebooted but nothing works. I reinstalled windows xp butnow I have not any showwing audio device connected. the motherboard is foxcom

You has not LOST the device if you have installed new XP Windows.  You simply do not have the device for device drivers, Windows XP can actually communicate with the device.

You will need to download and install all THE drivers for hardware devices.  Motherboard chipset, audio, video, networks, printers, scanners, cameras and so forth.

"Foxcom" tells us nothing and is only part of the story.  In order to get the drivers, you will need to know each device you have (or at least the make and model of the motherboard or computer as a whole.)

Download and install the latest audio drivers. You can find them in your PC manufacturer's Web site, in the first case, or, failing that, the manufacturer of the sound card / device *.

    * If your audio device is built into your motherboard, go to the website of the manufacturer of the motherboard to get.

    Either:
    * Reinstall the audio drivers (audio) on a CD of the utility that comes with your PC/computer laptop

    or:
    * Go to the computer manufacturer's website and go to their page to support for your PC/laptop. Download the latest XP dedicated drivers and install them.

  • Updated the video card, lost my audio devices

Hi, I'm running a Dell Precision T5400, and I upgraded my Nvidia GeForce GTX 380 for a Nvidia GeForce GTX 480 video card.  Now I have no sound.  The Audio Control Panel applet claims that I have no audio hardware.  In the Device Manager my sound, video and game controllers list the following:

NVIDIA High Definition Audio (4 times)

    Audio codecs

    Legacy Audio drivers

But nothing indicating a question or a problem, that it is as if the physical audio device simply disappeared.  Because the operating system does not even see anything to have a problem with, I don't know how to troubleshoot further.  I suspect that the Audio of HD, NVIDIA is because the system now expects 4.Supporting audio over HDMI?  Just a guess.  Anyone seen this before?

    Mason

Change Audio settings embedded in the BIOS of 'auto' on 'on '.  By selecting "on", it provides the integrated audio system is to be recognized and used as primary.

    Hello:

The only suggestion I can offer would be to see if this audio driver IDT W10 installation works for your PC.

This package contains the driver that allows to the Audio IDTHigh-definition (HD) in models of laptops that arerunning an operating system supported.

    File name: sp63555.exe

    Install and reboot the PC.

If this does not work, try the audio driver W8.1 of support for your laptop and driver page.

  • HP ENVY m6-1125dx Notebook PC: "no audio device is installed" after refresh. (No sound)

Hi, I've recently refreshed my laptop. It was a horrible mistake. All my documents remained where they were, but all my applications have been erased. I had to redownload mozilla firefox, google chrome, microsoft office, HP cool sense, Adobe and many many more. I'm drawn to believe that this update also affects my sounds. I lost him. I tried to solve this problem and discovered "no audio device is installed". I also lost my control panel of beats (my laptop came with audio of the beast). I went to redownload this on the site of HP but he said that there is no update or downloads for my device because everything was already up to date. I tried to download the drivers, but this was not good. Why a driver would help me a device that apparently is not yet installed.

    Need help! Help, please.

    -A

Thanks guys, but I solved the problem. When I went to the HP support page to download my audio driver, he told me that everything was up-to-date. It's because I entered my operating system like Windows 10. When I said that my operating system is Windows 8.1, it gave me a list of drivers so I can install it. Even if it wasn't under my operating system (Windows, 10), I was able to download drivers for my laptop that is operational. I downloaded the correct driver for my audio devices that solved the problem.

    Thanks anyway,

    -A

Rercently I lost audio and one audit result is back there is no audio devices installed. I reloaded the driver Realtek which resulted the return audio, but only for a short while - I now have no audio devices installed (accoding to the control panel). How can I do for r-installation of the audio device (assumed Realtek) and what I am doing wrong?

Remove the audio driver, clean the registry and restart. Download a [pilot | http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com/innovation/download_drivers_bios.jsp] if it does not it, there may be OS or hardware related issue. Then, you should to restore factory settings. If t still exists, there is a malfunction of the sound card

  • "No Audio device" all at once on Windows XP, how to fix this?

    Just for information:

-A long time ago I started to use a headset on my laptop (Toshiba) to online conferences. Its has worked well for the helmet and on the laptop's built-in speakers.

-A month there are built-in speakers stopped working, and I could only hear things in my helmet.

-J' recently lost my helmet so now I can't hear anything.

-When to check the control panel and click sounds and Audio devices, it says "No. Audio Device" and all options are disabled.

-When you open Device Manager, the "Other devices" directory is open and all the devices listed in it have icons of yellow question mark with dots exclamation mark next to them.

-J' tried to uninstall the devices listed in the "Other devices" directory and leave the window reinstall them on reboot - I read on another site - but every time I did nothing has changed.

-The directory of sound, video and game controllers has 5 things listed in there: Legacy Audio Drivers, Legacy video Capture devices, media control, Audio Codecs, Codecs video devices. None of them have all the icons next to them warning.

-When right click on each one and select "update driver", each of them come in saying that 'impossible to find a better match the software currently installed. I don't know if it's just to check my system or if it also checks the internet.

So, what are the options I am left with now? I need to do some work with videos, looking at them on their media player and their change in Movie Maker, and I keep says that the audio hardware cannot be found "required" and I can't use the app.

    Thank you.

    Hi TiJuanWells,

Check to see of the audio peripheral show in Device Manager by following these steps:

    • Click Start
    • Right click on my computer
    • Select Manage
    • Select Device Manager
