Yesterday, I listened to music for a few hours with my headset Bluetooth SBG9100 Philips.

Today, I received the message that 'no Audio output device is installed ".

Headphones and speakers appear on 'Her', and the helmet shows devices and printers.  I heard the beep indicating the connection from the headset.

I tried to reinstall HP and update drivers Broadcom (Bluetooth) and the driver on headphones and speakers.  Both indicate updated and working properly, as do the Bluetooth Module and an enumerator.

I did a system restore to yesterday morning, but it did not help.  Same audio message.

MS Media Player says that he can not play because there is a problem with the audio device.

    Any suggestions?

Thank you, Dunibar - my bad for not giving more information.

I despair, I called our doctor of the local computer, in whom I have the most confidence, and his recommendation was a system recovery (because I had lost all my system restore points).

Reluctantly, I did this and (touch wood) everything seems to go fine now.

Thanks for trying to help (again).

    Hello
You can try to uninstall and reinstall the sound card drivers and check.

    Here are the steps:
    a. click on "Start" and "Control Panel". And then double-click "Administrative Tools" and "Computer management".

    b. choose "Device Manager" in the field on the left side of the screen.

    c. search for "audio, video and game controllers". Click on the plus sign (+) next to this field. This will develop a list of devices under sound, video and game controllers, which will include your sound card.

    d. right-click on your audio driver in the list, and then select "Update Driver".

    e. follow the instructions and Windows will automatically search for and install driver updates

  • No audio, audio, device says no audio device

    Can fix us my sound?

My speakers are plugged in and powered and are not violated. But I must have done some settings change yesterday somewhere that has suddenly silenced them. They UM if I unplug the audio cable that they always have. And the internal speaker of my tablet is too quiet too. So some adjustment I did affected them both. Where should I look to fix this?

If I go to control panel > sounds and Audio devices, it displays a property page that says no. Audio Device.

I know I messed with drivers yesterday to solve another problem. Apparently, something that I had messed up my sound. Help!

Go to the site of the manufacturer of your computer, navigate to the page of downloads for your device, then download and install the latest audio drivers XP. Don't be fooled MS Update to do the work for you.

Restart and you should now have sound.

  • I have reinstalled XP & lost my audio device, HELP!

Have reinstalled XP and everything works OK, no sound, when I go into Control Panel and click sounds and audio devices, volume, says no audio device?

    Can anyone help?

    Rick Honisch

Download and install the latest audio drivers. You can find them in your PC manufacturer's Web site, in the first case, or, failing that, the manufacturer of the sound card / device *.

    * If your audio device is built into your motherboard, go to the website of the manufacturer of the motherboard to get.

  • After you have reinstalled windows xp, I lost my audio devices of the system

I plugged in a new usb mouse and hub 4way in my computor screen went blue, wgen she is back on I had no control of the mouse. I plugged the old mouse, the screen was frozen. Ishut down and rebooted but nothing works. I reinstalled windows xp butnow I have not any showwing audio device connected. the motherboard is foxcom

You has not LOST the device if you have installed new XP Windows.  You simply do not have the device for device drivers, Windows XP can actually communicate with the device.

You will need to download and install all THE drivers for hardware devices.  Motherboard chipset, audio, video, networks, printers, scanners, cameras and so forth.

"Foxcom" tells us nothing and is only part of the story.  In order to get the drivers, you will need to know each device you have (or at least the make and model of the motherboard or computer as a whole.)

    Hi gary kenny,.
    1. when the question is is produced?
    2. the issue of 'No audio' intervene on other applications as well?
    3. What is the brand and model of your computer?

Follow the steps and check if they help.

    Step 1:

If you have HP and Compaq Windows XP computers, you can follow the steps mentioned in the article.

    Step 2:

Or, you can uninstall and reinstall the sound drivers.

    a. click on START
    b. click Control Panel.

You should have a few icons to come.
If you do not, you must make sure that you have enabled the classic view.

Locate the control panel option, it will be on the left side.
    Once activated the classic view

Follow the rest of my instructions.

    c. click Device Manager
    d. sounds > search for your sound card (if you are not sure that your sound card is, post options and I'll tell you that one.)
    e. Note description brand / model, double-click on it, go to the tab drivers, note the version.
    f. make a right click on it and UNINSTALL it and restart the computer it will rebuild the driver stack.
    g. go to the manufacturers website and find the latest driver for your card download. (You must know the name of the sound card, if you wrote down from the above info), when you find it download: SAVE IT DO NOT HIT RUN (save it on your desktop for easy access.
    h. open the file that you have saved and right-click on it and select RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR(Now install it.). REBOOT after each installation of driver.

    Step 3:

Sound drivers often rollback, so check that the version you just installed is always there. If not, the driver to keep until it sticks, it really shouldn't take more than three times
