Lost toolbars

I was originally just "tables and borders" lack and "positioning"... I saw a post somewhere about playing with the registry to display... stupid me, I'm right in the register,

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\eHelp\RoboHTML\13.00\Components\4\

I notice a lot of these values change when I disturb with toolbars and close... then, I changed one of the values as a trial, 'ToolBarFloating5' to 1... and now I've lost my toolbar 'View' too...

Can someone help me get this back to default values? Or I'm gunna have to resintall RoboHelp?

I have it!

OK, so after the publication of this note, I noticed that
ToolbarFloating has been set to 1 for 3,4 & 5...

Also, I noticed that the ToolBarFloatingX & ToolBarFloatingY values were something rediculously high, like 36000 + for all 3 of these toolbars... so I put the X & Y values to something more reasonable, restart robohelp... and voilla! they are!

Try this... Assuming you are using Windows Mail. If this isn't the case, ignore this response.

Open Windows Mail... click Contacts... anywhere inside of the right side, make a right click on an open... click Customize this folder... under "what kind of folder do you want to", click on the pointer until you see the Contacts, click on it... Click OK.

  • Update firefox to 36.0 Yahoo toolbar has only just gone mail elsewhere 35.0 was OK how 35.0 back?

Question above says it all. I reinstalled Yahoo toolbar. No help. I don't have the Yahoo toolbar, but all my customization went on this subject. I can't right click on the toolbar to add things. I made the mistake of updating to Fox 36 on three different computers. They are all the same now. Lost toolbar. Did not update computer friends and that's OK with showing all Yahoo toolbar customizations. (35.0) I need to go back to Fox 35. After update to 36.0, there was another update, but it did not help. Thank you

36 Firefox is still in beta, and the beta software does not always work with extensions. You can download and install Firefox exit by going to https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all/ and download the appropriate build by language and operating system.

  • Yahoo toolbar has lost and can not reinstall because PC think its always there. Anyone?

After restarting my computer this weekend, I realized my Yahoo toolbar was missing (as was the possibility of opening a 2nd window). Tried to reinstall the toolbar because my PC thinks I have the latest version already installed. How can I install the fees? Or rather how do I uninstall the missing toolbar so that I can install it then again? I am running XP Pro on this PC. I use the toolbar to access many sites as well as for the bookmarks. Please tell me what I did to cause this so that I can avoid this inconvenience in the future.
    Thank you.

Amazing! I repeated the steps 4 times Corrupt_localstore.rdf and it worked finally. Done the same every time so that I would know exactly how to rectify if this happens again. And all this time I thought that repeating the same things over and over again and expect a different result, it was the definition of insanity. Although I am crazy but I had a different result, which is the only crazy this time?

I want to thank you again for the help. I tried to get help of Yahoo and never got a response after receiving the assurance that I would receive a response - soon. It was days ago and nothing yet. You have both responded in hours. (And jscher2000 - you continued to offer advice despite the specific nature of the problem). I am truly grateful. Not only is the back of the tool bar, but has not lost a single application. I'll be sure to recommend the forum at all. Already I suggest Firefox to everyone. Now, I can happily tell them about this.

    Have a great weekend.

  • I hacked and lost the toolbars upper and lower (Start/clock). How can I get back them?

I think I was hacked by a program called Claro. I don't know anything about. As a result, I lost the top and bottom toolbars in Firefox. Since then, I have used either and all is ok there. I still use FF. How can I get FF back up and running? Thanks for any help.

Make sure that you run not Firefox mode full screen (press F11 or Fn + F11 to toggle; Mac: Ctrl + Shift + F).

If you are in full screen view then hover over with the mouse upward to make the bar appear Navigation and tab bar.

Click the expand (in the top right Navigation bar) to exit full screen or right-click on an empty space on a toolbar and select "exit full screen" or press the F11 key.

You can check for problems with the file localstore.rdf.

  • I have used Firefox for about 8 years and yesterday lost my bookmarks toolbar. Any suggestions? Yet the bookmarks and it still seems in sight.

I have used Firefox for about 8 years or since first of all, it has been developed and I love it! I especially love the personal bar and he used all these years without any problems. Yesterday, I lost somehow the bookmarks toolbar. It is still listed under view in the Menu. When I check, besides, that area expands a little and when I uncheck the box decreases a little. All my favorites are still there, but not the toolbar. I tried everything I know to try. I uninstalled and downloaded Firefox again and reinstalled. I have restarted my computer several times. I tried dragging the new bookmarks in the toolbar of the address of the site area. Nothing works. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what can be the cause and have a solution? I HATE that, without this toolbar. Thanks in advance!

If the menu bar is hidden, then press the F10 key or hold down the Alt key to make the call of menu bar.

Make sure the toolbars like the toolbar 'Navigation' and the 'personal bar' are visible: "view > toolbars".

    • Open the Customize via "view > toolbars > customize.
    • Make sure the "Bookmarks Toolbar items" are on the personal bar
    • If the "Bookmarks Toolbar items" is not on the bookmarks toolbar, then FRY it in the toolbar palette in the window the bookmarks toolbar Customize
    • If the missing elements are in the toolbar palette then drag them from the window, customize the toolbar
    • If you do not see an item on a toolbar in the toolbar palette and then click the button "Restore default" to restore the default toolbar set up
  • How is it that after that I updated to Firefox 8.0.1 I have not only lost my bookmarks toolbar, but FF opens two tabs, whenever I open it?

After I updated to FF 8.0.1 I lost my bookmarks toolbar. Every time I open FF, the toolbar is missing; only the stars and "Bookmarks" will appear on the line, but everything else is missing. Can I get back if I uncheck it and then save in the options.

Not only that, but now, when I open FF, it automatically opens two tabs, instead of one.

I tried to uninstall and reinstall, I tried to reset my toolbars and opening in safe mode, but none of this has worked.

Create a new profile as a test to see if your profile is the source of the problems.

See "basic troubleshooting: a new profile:

There may be extensions and plugins installed by default in a new profile, so check that in "tools > Modules > Extensions & Plugins" in case there are still problems.

If this new profile works then you can transfer files from the old profile to the new profile, but make sure not to copy corrupted files.

Start Firefox in Firefox to solve the issues in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > appearance/themes).
