LOV with .gif image

Hi all

Please tell me if it is possible to make a list of values with data + a .gif image.

Do I want to do, a LOV to a list of countries with respective flags.

Thank you.

Michael.

Hello

Nothing standard, but you can compile a module of shapes like a LOV to the effigy of the element to display the flags.

  • Problem with .gif images not in the process of disappearance

    Hi-

I'm fairly new to photoshop. Lately I've been messing around with editing and gifs and have been sporadic success achieve what I decided to do. I'm looking for help with a peculiar problem which seems to appear again and again. The problem is that when I try to make GIFs. with a transparent background, gif images don't disappear properly once the file is moved out of photoshop.

For example: I came across the following .gif yesterday and decided I want to try to edit for a surreal effect.

http://imgur.com/NJlpA.gif (I hope this link works)

I wanted to trim the beginning of animation where the man is on the bike and make sure the man just rolls backward on the ground (weird I know).

I deleted the images I successfully is most wanted and reproduces images of animation that I wanted to play again so that the image would loop seamlessly. I then went through image by image and corresponding layer by layer, to remove the white background. I used the quickwand tool. It took a lot of time, but the gif was playing in photoshop that I wanted, a man back writhing on the ground for no apparent reason. Siiiiiiick.

So I have everything save for web thing and devices, saved as a .gif file, and then I put it on the interwebs and it turns out that I have created this monstrosity:

    http://imgur.com/60CHc.gif

Please, please, please, someone tell what I'm doing wrong. I feel like I got the exact procedure even other gifs and had them turn out perfectly. What Miss me?  Please note that the problem is not that I did accidentally layers active for executives, so that I did not want their assets. I checked.

OK, thanks in advance to anyone who might be able to offer advice.

    Sean

Each image is defined as "don't throw"... which means that it will keep this visible frame throughout the animation.

Select all the images in the Animation Panel and then right click on any change of setting this option.

  • I can't see gif images in mail win vista. I can see all other images in mail win.

I installed IE9 on my desk and now when I use Win mail and insert a gif image will not display. If I click on the empty space where the image should be, that it will only display the selection around the gif image handles but not the image itself. Once I have selected the space with the handles around him, I can select the option copy and then paste copied selection into a graphics program and it will show. This means that the image is in the email, but does not show. If I send the email to someone the gif image will show in their email. If I get an email with a gif image, it does not appear in my email. I can drag and select where the gif image should be and then copying and pasting into a graphics program and it will be there. I have links to two screenshots of what I'm trying to say. The first shows what happens when I insert images into a new e-mail message. All other graphic images show except for gif images and I can choose the gif images but only the handles show. The second shows what it looks like when someone sends me a gif image. Anyone else have this problem with gif images? I must have a parameter incorrectly. I tried to go back to IE8 that corrects the problem. Today I installed IE9 on my laptop and it can display gif images in Win mail

I suspect it's a question of IE9 and not a set, but a bug.  There are already known between WinMail and IE9 problems: see www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#15

  • How to import moving in first with a transparent background GIF images?

I have an animated gif that I got from the internet, and I'm trying to import into Premiere Pro with a transparent background. The gif is a motionless, flashing video game character. Whenever I import it, it always has a white background, so I need help on how to change this.

I went into Photoshop and removed the white background image by image, making it transparent. I have it using the magic wand tool to select the white background, then press 'delete' to make this grid of diamond, which means that it is transparent. I then select file-> save for Web. I saw each image, and it shows that the funds are transparent. I have to save it in a gif file. But when I import into Premiere Pro, the white background is still there.

I read many forums online on the people trying to import images into Premiere Pro with a transparent background, but none of them explained how to do specifically for animated gifs. Each answer has always been "export image into a png image, which is going to work" and of course, I exported some frames of the gif, png, and these images have transparent backgrounds in Premiere Pro. But I don't want a png because that is not the animated sequences, those who may be still images. I need to export it to a gif file so that it remains lively, but gif files always have this white background dreaded in Premiere Pro.

I guess I could export each image as a PNG, each of these frames import into Premiere Pro, then string together all the frames and twist them so they will be functionally identical to the animated gif image, but that would take forever. I am doing a video project and I need many gifs animated work, so I don't want to do this with each of them. I'm looking for a way to simply import GIF files into Premiere Pro and be done with it. If there is a way to do this, please help me.

    Screenshot_1.jpg

The background photo/image is a layer

I would like to add the image/photo of this layer to the white layer that has been created with the tool "rounded rectangle", and then delete the background layer and you end up with an image/icon with corners rounded

Turn on your background layer to a regular layer by double clicking on the thumbnail in the layers palette.

Then add a vector mask to the layer by going to layer > vector mask > reveal all the

Then set the Rectangle rounded to path tool and draw your Rectangle on the vector mask.

  • GIF image is not good quality exporting

    Hello

I'm trying to export Animated Gif HD picture. but when I export animated gif image is not good quality. I selected the default setting.

Could you tell my how to export the animated GIF HD picture in Photoshop cs5?

    Hello

    Greetings!

You have reservations because of the color of the GIF color table reduction. Gif images can contain a maximum of 256 colors. There is really not much you can do about it.

You ask the gif format to support colors, which it is not. The best you can do is experience with dithering options in the window of the Web. However, you're nevergoing to look for a smooth color photography when you use the gif format.

There may be better options such as jquery, for what you are trying to create. JavaScript libraries like jquery can create animation effects that can use independent png24 or jpg images. Png24 both jpg support smooth color and not confined to a maximum of 256 colors.

  • How to extract text from a GIF Image?

I have 47 lines typed text parsed as (.gif) image file.  I want 47 lines of text from the image, so it can be edited in MS Word. I've attached an example image file. I have several of the same format image files. How to extract text from an image using Photoshop CS2. In Photoshop CS2 image text layer is locked. During extraction using OCR it gives words and symbols, should be a lot of words spruced up. Kindly help to extract text using Photoshop CS2. Thank you.

    14.gif

This has nothing to do with PS. Others are simply limits to all OCR process and you will have to live with it, especially since your image is extremely low resolution and the font used is not particularly suitable for OCR, either - too many thin areas will be ignored or interpreted as gray. Whatever it is, it took me 2 minutes to write this response at this very moment a bad typist like me might have re typed your text from scratch, just access it so...

  • The animated gif image

    Hello

How can I change a gif in Photoshop Elements 6 for Mac?

When I open the file it is just the first image in a single layer - no other available layers.

    Thank you!

You can also open the gif in preview and in the sidebar, you can see each layer, then bring it to the PES. However, I recall that the PSE for mac is a bad program for what to do with animated gifs, since there is a bug in PSE 6 start where you cannot change the rate of delay by default when you save an animated gif image. You might want to look in a free program like stone.com giffun instead.

  • PES 9 - error msge opening .gif image.

When I open an animated .gif image, I get an error message that says:

"This is an animated GIF. You can only display an image. Save this file will result in a loss of information. »

I've never had this problem with the previous Photoshop Elements as any .gif file always open with its individual images.

    Any suggestions / help please?

    Thank you

Yes, for some reason any of pse9 adobe (windows) decided not to allow the opening

gifs in layers, including all previous versions of items under windows had done.

The best advice is to keep an older version of elements to open the GIF files and

If you create layers (animated gifs) gifs in pse9, save a copy in layers as a psd file

before you create the animated gif.

  • Good afternoon - need help with two images

    Good afternoon

First of all, I apologize if my English isn't the best but it is a translation.

I am new to Photoshop and decided to ask for help here in the forum to try to solve a problem that I can't solve alone.

I have a normal 2D image .jpg and have another .gif image is a logo rotating in 3D (I can export this logo in .swf or other format if the .gif is not in the correct format).

I wanted to unite these two images, rely on image .jpg and .gif image over the base in run (revolves around logo) and the junction of the two images together for an image final (with the spining logo) to export.

The final format, could be .jpg or .gif, or any other format.

My question is if may be possible to do this with Photoshop or another program to form Adobe?

Already thank you very much for your help.

    Best regards

    Davcorsil

Alongside the Mylenium suggestion, you can do it in first (the Pro, or the Elements version), BUT you'd end up with an AV file and NOT a file 'image', as such.

An additional step using a NLE (of Non-linear editing) would be that your animated GIF would work better, if it has been converted into file AV with Alpha for transparency. Then, like layers in Photoshop, one would put the image on the video from track 1, with the converted GIF AV file on video Track 2. Export to a format/CODEC selected AV. Fact. Don't forget, this exported file would be an AV file, NOT an image.

Rather than use the animated GIF, I would rather choose export as a file of my 3D application AV. Most allow several formats/codecs. For material from SD (Standard definition), the ultimate choice would be DV - AVI Type II, using the MicroSoft DV CODEC, or on a Mac, like. MOV with the CODEC of Animation. In these cases, you want to export in million + colors. This + is important, because it will be the Alpha channel for transparency.

    Good luck
