Low quality printing

My ink level is all rich, but when I print in color, the colors are all faded and have horizontal lines going through them too. The colors are washed out despite new cartridges.

I use an all-in-one Officejet Pro L7650.

Hello

I see you are having a problem with the printer giving you print quality problems.

Probably, your mobile service provider replaces the original images with those small to save bandwidth. It is a common practice for mobile service providers. Then you would be better to talk to your provider, what can be done. Perhaps they offer other APNs.

  • G20: Deliver low quality - a Tuner or a MCE?

    Hello
I have new Qosmio G20 I tried for awhile.
During the recording of TV programs on the hard drive, I must say that the quality is not as good as expected (VHS quality).

The recording quality is set to high (possible bes in MCE).

  • Irregular quality printing HP Photosmart C7280 black

Black letters are irrelgular quality, some of the page either crispy, then a few lines are blurred, twisted or just simply not clearly (see iamge below). All the colors are fine and precise. I did all the cleaning routines, even cleaned the printhead (through the opening at the bottom). Cartridge is full.

Is originally a bad cartridge or going to the print head? The printer is a few years with moderate use.

When you have performed the task of cleaning print head using the front of the printer, did you just 1 or all 3 levels?  I advise to all 3 levels to try to force ink through ports to make them disappear.  In addition, the printer aligns with success if you tell the printer to complete a cycle of alignment?

I'd also take a look at the document troubleshooting quality printing found here for the Photosmart C7280.

If you complete all steps and the problem persists, then I advise to try another cartridge to remove if the problem is hardware for printer or a problem with the print cartridge.

However, if you change the cartridge and the problem persists, then it's a hardware problem with the printhead internally and the next step will be the replacement of the product.  If you are still in warranty, HP can replace the printer without cost to you. I'll link the information to get in touch with them below. The link takes you to a form to fill out. Once you fill it and she is treated, it will give you the printers warranty information, a file number and the phone number to call.

  • Why are some of my low quality/pixelated and high quality desktop icons in other places

Hi, some of my icons on the desktop from my laptop (for example google chrome) are all grainy and low quality; However, in places like the taskbar and startmenu, they are fine.  My connection icon is also very low quality if it gives advice to the cause.  I have the same exact programs installed on my desktop (on windows 7) and I did not have this problem.  Any ideas as to what is happening?  Here is an image that can make it more clear about what I'm asking:

Right-click on an empty area of the desktop, choose View > small icons.

This only happens with icons that were not designed to be scale-able.  They are extended only slightly, causing artifacts as we see.  Microsoft has released the guidelines for the creation of an icon in their 'Style Guide of the user experience' a few years ago, but some software manufacturers understand that the sizes of icons "legacy", including max 32 x 32 I think.

  • Workflow to ensure the best quality print files

I have a number of birds in flight photos that do not whole screen. I want to crop the part of the image and print it.

I want to complete the process in Lightroom cc, however the impression that I get on the web, is that Photoshop has tools higher resampling.

What is the optimal workflow between Lightroom and Photoshop to get the best quality print file?

I had to rate an image for printing several years ago and made some tests using Photoshop, Lightroom and some third-party software, resize possibly perfect.

It turned out that Lightroom has produced the best picture, followed closely by Photoshop.

The image produced by the third-party software maybe was a bit stronger than the others, but it seemed unnatural.

You can easily test yourself - create images in the same dimensions in pixels of Lightroom and Photoshop, then compare them to view 100%. Photoshop you give several resampling options that produce slightly different results, try bicubic and bicubic smoother.

  • Bad file? Downloaded HERE file turns out be filled with low-quality bitmap

    Hi all

This afternoon, I bought and downloaded a file HAVE (file number 104048928), which turned out to be filled with a bitmap pixelish of low quality that cannot be changed in any way. Does anyone know how such a bizarre thing can happen, and what should I do now? It's really one of the strangest things that ever happened to me...

    Hi Jacob,

I can't edit the title either, it seems to be part of the colorful picture. I'm going to make the picture of our content manager, and I gave you a license for the image credit. We apologize for the inconvenience.

  • Print to PDF, high quality printing. Creates .ps instead of the PDF file

I want to create a PDF (from a PDF file) using Print-> Adobe PDF. I chose that properties-> high quality printing. This used to create a PDF document, but now he wants to write it into a .ps file. How to change that? I saw a question/answer older who said uncheck "print to a file", but I do not see this option.

Click on the Advanced button in the print dialog box and make sure that "Print to a file" is not checked.

  • How to change the resolution of a photo in photoshop for high quality printing?

I am confused about how to check the actual resolution of an image in Photoshop.

I understand 72 DPI is set for the web and 300 DPI is normally required for high quality printing but how do you check the dpi in Photoshop. When you go to the size and resolution of the image, it is always in pixels (ppi)? Is it the same thing as the dots per inch?

For example. If I open a photo in Photoshop and the resolution is 72 dpi can I change this at 300ppi so that's 300 DPI when it goes to print?

Also is there a way to check the resolution of a picture that has been placed in indesign or illustrator without opening the image in photoshop?

    Thanks in advance

You should check up to resample it for any nationally - or down.

If you want to convert to CMYK, you must use the correct profile, the results may not be as expected.

CMYK profiles are dependent on the device - the press is either calibrated to a known profile (which may be available in Photoshop), or he has a profile, which you would have to get the printer.

If you want to print an Indesign document, the recommended workflow is to export to PDF and converting CMYK when the pdf file. The CMYK range is smaller than RGB, so unless you're aware of this, you will have a few surprises.

You cannot print very saturated colors with CMYK and blues often come different looking than RGB.

If you configure the Color PS with CMYK (workspace) profile settings, you can (work in RGB) press Ctrl + Y and get a glimpse of what will look like colors in CMYK. You can even edit in this mode, tweaking colors, but of course limited by the CMYK range.

For all this to work and get good results, you must have a calibrated monitor, and it helps it of course to have a good printer, who knows what she's doing. And, if possible, be there during printing. Printing on an offset press is not like printing on your desktop printer - there are much more variable.

  • InDesign cc export presets pdf for the quality and high quality printing press are missing.

I have more quality of printing or high-quality print options to export a PDF file. Is - this intentional? Can I get back them?

The first thing to try is repalcing preferences and restart the computer. See replace your preferences

If this does not work, I put a folder of the old benefits here: https://www.hightail.com/download/OGhkZ285Q1JBNkUwTWRVag

  • How to get previews of lower quality when working with Full-HD?

I work with Full-HD video, but I don't have to preview the files (rendering) to be too the 1920 x 1080. It takes a lot of disk space and a lot of time to make the preview files.

Is it possible to ensure a lower quality? For example, resolution 720 x 405 would be sufficient.

But when I want to make a permanent export, I need to get the Full HD video.

    Thank you!

Use a custom sequence and change previews as you wish.

  • Made final video is low quality and too bright

Here is the link to my original video clip, the video clip in the project and the final copy made everything on my monitor at the same time:

The obtained downsised image that makes it harder to see the question, but here are the largest part of the computer:

The final copy is lower quality and way too bright. Noticibly too bright. Own obscurities turn into rough gray, and the quality is noticibly smaller as well. I checked the "use maximum render quality" and I tried to exportiing in AVI and MP4, and nothing is set. Any ideas?

First, what type of file do you need?  If you are looking for the lossless quality then I suggest to export a file with Animation codec quicktime or some other lossless codec.  However, these types of files are huge and that they could not read on your desktop.  But if you go just to put this video on the internet, when you're finished with it then I would suggest starting with one of the Youtube or Vimeo H.264 presets and modify it to match your clip.  It is still not as good as the original, but you can't expect miracles when you work in SD and in exporting to H.264 format, which is a codec very first.  If you want to try to export Quicktime or AVI without loss, and then change the settings so that they get something like this:

  • v 8.2.4 recent updated because of the fonts to appear 'low quality '.

Hi, I have recently updated to v 8.2.4, which caused the fonts in (all) my pdfs to appear 'low quality', i.e. the fonts appear jagged and poorly defined. Images in PDF files are also jagged, but not photographs. I would be grateful to know how to fix it. Thanks in advance,

If the fonts appear in stairs there are two likely reasons. The easy difficulty is that you have not the font smoothing is enabled in preferences, generally a good idea for most LCD monitors. The other problem could be that the police somehow got included as bitmap fonts. Usually the font bitmap look terrible unless you get just the right screen resolution. Basically, 'image' are not fonts and vector fonts. You should be able to check the police looking at the table of fonts in the document (ctrl-D) preferences.

  • Export from Adobe Premiere CS4 - out of low quality/pixelated WMV

Export WMV (Windows Media Video) from Adobe Premiere CS4 (via Adobe Media Encoder CS4) gives a very low quality/pixelated output (especially when there is text in the video). I use the following settings:

    Video Codec: Windows Media 9
    Pass encoding: 2
    Bitrate Mode: Variable unconstrained

    Width of the frame: 1024
    Frame height: 576

    (* Same as source)

Format of the pixels: Square pixels (1.0)

    Decoder complexity: Auto
    Keyframe interval: 5
Average of Bitrate of the video: 5000

I used the EXACT same settings in Adobe Premiere CS3 and the quality is absolutely perfect. (See the comparison example attached)

Any ideas what may be the problem?

    Thank you

Try gradual (no frame) in the settings of your sequence.

  • OfficeJet 6815 e All in One: 6815 Officejet print low quality on pc and high quality on devices

Purchased a new HP Officejet 8615 e All in One and finally got it working after hours of shyte with unistalls and reinstalls. Now it works, but it prints documents with best quality of my laptop, iphone, ipad, and acer. From the pc, it prints out horribly. Downloaded a software/driver full features and always bad impressions from the pc.

He is currently connected wireless. The printer test pages are all of good quality, all in colour. Scan doc says it all is green and works correctly.

Obviously, there is something missing on my pc...

    Any ideas would be useful.

Thanks for providing this information @MikeG7.

Yes, it sounds like a driver problem. You should have a lot more options at your disposal.

I checked online and the only available drivers are the base drivers. I suggest you update this driver to see if you have additional features that are available for the Windows XP computer.

In the windows printers and faxes, right-click the printer and then click printer properties.

    Click the Advanced tab.

    Click new driver.

    Next.

Select the HP Deskjet 990c printer, then continue the wizard.

    Apply the settings.

Check the print settings and try them and print them out to see if the quality is improved.

    Keep me posted! Thank you!
