Replacement Fan/Heatsink to cpu for p6-2330

HP Pavilion Desktop P6-2330 with fan cpu Cooler Master (#FA08025M12PLA) caused "511 cpu fan not detected."  Fan radiator dead, still breathing.  HP bought April 2013 and under warranty.  Trying to avoid the hassle of the guarantee and the purchase/replacement of installation.  Unfortunately replacements no longer exist.  The Cooler Master fan was DC12, 0. 45A, 80X25M.  Cannot find anything for the game.  Big box and supply great online companies - duper fan may not happen what anyone close.

Legitimate suggestions would be really useful.  Thank you

You could also buy a full set with a heat sink which suits your FM2 socket like this: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Cooler-Master-Hyper-212-120mm/dp/B0068OI7T8/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1384032717&sr=8-1&keywords=hyper+212+cpu+cooler

Just make sure that the case of Fund is large enough to hold the cooler in.

No, I'm talking about Device Manager. Hope that the sticker is good then your machine's discreet graphics because:

    • The UMA version applies to the motherboard that does not have a separate dedicated graphics chip. On this version, the graphics processing is managed by the North bridge chipset.
    • The discreet version applies to the motherboard with a separate chip to achieve all the graphics processors.

Based on the sticker, your machine has NVIDIA GEFORCE GT M 635

    Hello:

Because your model is a CTO model it does not give material specifications.

You need one of the two fan-heatsink for Intel based motherboards, found in Chapter 3 on page 29 of the owner's manual.

    http://h10032.www1.HP.com/CTG/manual/c03591281.PDF

However, it is very easy to understand than you need...

If your laptop computer is the AMD / switchable graphics of Intel you need of this fan/heater:

For use only on the computer models equipped with an Intel processor and a graphics subsystem with discrete memory

    HP Part # 682061-001

If your laptop has Intel HD graphics card, you need the fan/radiator:

To be used on the computer models equipped with an Intel processor and a graphics subsystem with UMA memory

    HP Part # 682060-001

  • I need help replacing fan in a DV4-1220US

He'S working on a HP Pavillion DV4-1220us friend who is overheating and the fan makes a loud noise.

Can I order a fan, but first I want to remove to see if it matches the one on eBay.  I see two different models to choose and want to make sure I understand correctly the first time.

My problem is that I can't find any documentation on how to do it.  I just started and removed all screws, as I can see, but it will separate.  I see one last screw next to the wireless adapter, but it is locked enough that I can't remove it.

Someone has links on how to accomplish this apparently aimple task to replace a fan?

    -= Mark =-

    Hi, Mark:

Did you check the service manual for this model?

    http://h10032.www1.HP.com/CTG/manual/c01597750.PDF

It also provides reference numbers (Chapter 3, pp. 21-22).

    Fan Heatsink heat & R & R is starting in Chapter 4, page 114.

  • Pavilion G6: Replace fan on Pavilion

I realize this is probably a general 'fault' with most laptops, but why the hell don't manufacturers build their machines with fans that are accessible, like all hard drives seem to be. Moving parts are obviously more likely to wear or fail over time and, as far as I can see, there are two types in a laptop, the HARD drive and fan.
Replace a HARD drive can be done in an hour or two (eg. On a G6 Pavilion, it requires the removal of two screws and careful replacement) but to replace a cooling fan, we're looking for a good ten or twelve hours (eg. On a G6 Pavilion on the only part that doesn't have to be physically removed and put in the back is the screen, I lost count of the number of screws).
With repair shops charge as much as £80 per hour that it's cheaper to buy a new machine that pay for a piece of a £20 replaced. I suspect that there is a general scheme by all manufacturers to ensure that their customers replace their machines after expiration of the warranty, rather that attempt to repair a machine that works perfectly but needs only a 4oz part replaced for another couple of use of it.

Thought so, just be a bit lazy, I guess.
Want to do things (and do it myself), some pride self creeping in.
    Thanks for your comments.

  • No volumn Icon - no sound since replacing battery to the CPU, I have a Windows XP

No icon volumn - no sound since replacing battery to the CPU. I have a Dell Windows XP.  I tried to solve this problem for more than 6 hours, it must help.  If I try to install an icon of volumn - message is - not installed Volume control program.  In the Web sites that I'm not sure that you can trust, they say I need a file Sndvol32.exe (?), or a microsoft update download driver (?).  My computer is 7-8 years, but I installed more Ram.   Appreciate your help.

Windows Explorer is not to be confused with Internet Explorer (which I think you open).

On your desktop, right-click on 'My Computer' and choose the second option in the menu drop-down (not on my XP PC, so don't remember his name). Who should then open WIndows Explorer and you can follow the instructions in my other post. Or double-click my computer, and you get a simpilar window.

    See you soon,.

  • Use of trend CPU for a service

    Hey everybody,

Hoping you can help.  I would lke to display graphically, use of CPUS to a virtual machine or VMs contained within a service over a period of 6 months. I want also to average usage to demonstrate that usage has increased or decreased during this period of recovery.

Easy enough to do the first part, but you know how I could also show the average use over this period?  The overlay only as 'average', I can think of will show an average apartment during the entire period.  I really want to show if the average was up or down.

    See you soon

It is a matter of good use for a derived measure.

A derived measure is calculated according to one or more other measures.

In this case, you can define a time - or schedule-driven derived metric whose scope corresponds to a Service.

The calculation for average usage of the CPU for all guests of the service could look like:

    AVG (#utilization of $scope.hosts.cpus for 30 minutes #)

Once you have created this metric, you will be able to track this value over time and it monitor changes.

There is an example of how create a metric derived in How to create a Derived metric (to count the VMS under tension).

    Kind regards
